| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Very pleased so far with the OP. The colors are very alive and the following,  that is excellent! They include the loli dog/squirrel girl very much in the OP along with the spoiler One of the nicest MOE stuff was Rebecca in the spoiler Among the many amazing elements of this first episode I got to say that Cinque in the following,  Did a nice hit there. Moreover the intro of Gaul in the spoiler About the fan service, there is a claim it was going to be upped by 200%. The list so far has elements of that.

| This was fantastic. I was so looking forward to the second season and so far I didn't get disappointed. Everything looked amazing with the shiny colors. It was pretty touchy when they met each other again and the voice acting was of course top notch. Nice Job by Mizuki Nana voicing both Rico and Nanami. Both OP and ED are great. 5/5 |
| Yes! The dogs are back =] I would just as puzzle as Rebecca if I saw human like creatures with dog ears and tails. Funny scene~ |

| I missed this! Glad to see the whole cast again. It's awesome that both Nanami and Rebecca are coming with him this time! I love Nanami's tomboyish attitude. She looks awesome in her war getup too. Meanwhile Rebecca is flabbergasted by what is going on. Seems like she will be claimed as a hero for a new third kingdom, the squirrels? This whole series is just one big lighthearted bundle of fun. Looking forward to more! |

| Ah, the second season of one of the first anime I have ever seen comes into play this summer. It's nice to steer away from dark humored and bloody mess anime once in a while and start watching something with a less serious tone. Anyways seems that this season is going to get interesting with now a third faction introduced. |

| Episode one was great. The new OP is the best animated OP of any show this season. Norio Wakamoto's character was briefly in the OP, so I'm glad they didn't write him out of the script. I'm worried as to if they're going to introduce another random large monster from nature out of nowhere to be the big badguy of the season. I hope they do something better than that. I also like how the new characters that haven't been introduced had their faces blacked out in the OP and ED. |

| As long as they keep the wars and tournaments i will be happy. If they do that demon bullshit again it will go down hill. The 1st season 1st 3 episodes was good then it turned to trash. I really hope he ends up with Becky but i highly doubt it its always some stupid naive princess type character that always get the guy. |

| TBH, this feels a bit below par to me. I noticed a few dips in production and animation quality the likes of which I didn't catch in the original, and some of the writing and visuals, including parts of the battle, seemed a bit lazy and sloppy compared to what I recall for the first one. It's a bit early to judge, but the first season had a FAR better opening act. Still entertaining, but not quite as good as I'd hoped so far. It could go either way from here. |
