| To a degree it was cute, yet I'll never take this episode into consideration, as it threw away any logic... We have the impression that Iruka has been in Naruto's life a while, now, this filler decides they omly met around two years before the start at most, if that was the case, who in the world raised him!? How many orphans grow up alone in a flat? They could have aknowledged what happened to Naruto after he was born: - who cared for him? - was he in an orpanage? - how long has he lived alone? All this could have made a great filler; questions that have been unanswered, yet no, this filler had to be some slice-of-life shoujo.:p Do the anime production even follow the story? Forgot to add... Iruka says; "I was born on May 26th, so I'm a Pieces", WRONG, you're a gemini. Plus he annoyed me by constantly selecting Sasuke to show off, what abouth the others in that large class? Even Kiba was egar. |

| I was curious as to what they would use as a filler arc about here. In my opinion it definitely could have been worse. |

As stated in my post earlier, there is a lot of things that could have been covered, yet were not, also, the scenarios were inconsistant with what we know. Fillers are expected and needed, and it would be nice, infact brilliant, if fillers actually covered what Kishimoto was unable to do (as he's only one person) yet they don't do this, they stray off on their own, trying to create fanservice. It seems as though they don't communicate with Kishi' (judging from his interviews) and I'm not even sure they follow the manga closely. The anime fillers seem to be the product storyboard coming up with there own stories and incorporating the Naruto characters. Fillers haven't always been bad however; during part one, they were fun, just as the series was, incorporated missions, scenarios, travel, comedy, hardship, characters we don't see of, a short story. I can't fault part one fillers . ; ) |

| Why didn't they put this in the first Naruto series when he was younger, i don't really see i reason to send this out now. I mean we did get to see all this in the first series. Anyway those guys from the Hidden Rock are finally on there way so there was some story development. Wonder in witch episode they will arrive. |

| Despite being a filler, I actually was surprised at how much I enjoyed this episode. There was definitely that "old Naruto feeling" to it in the episodes before start of Naruto Shippuuden...which made me feel nostalgic :) (and i wanna rewatch Naruto again! not Naruto Shippuuden) and LOL @ Iruka's reaction and face when Naruto almost hit him xD and I adore how cute Naruto was in this episode :3 I especially liked it when he sympathized w/ Sasuke a little bit near the end >_> (well little Sasuke was admittingly cute too) anyways, cant wait for next episode (again..despite being a filler) |

| Actually, I don't mind this fillers. Although a bit boring, I want to see how Naruto lived while being ignored like that. I just hope that it won't take too long or it will really become very boring... |

| I waste of an episode, but I do have two things to rage about: #1 How come Kashimoto didn't draw Naruto's clothing like the one from this episode, it's about a million times better than dressing him up like an orange. #2 How come Hinata looks 10 times better now than she did in Naruto 1??? (I mean the Young Hinata of this episode, not the older Hinata) |

| It's decent, but bad timing plagued it, who cares to watch again the same antics between the same characters when we already got exactly that for 300 episodes already? Not to mention the fact they even teased us with the first minute only to take the candy away right after ¬¬ Yes, it could've been a lot worse, but I still made myself an abridged version that lasted 3 minutes and saved myself from watching the whole thing (again). Also, someone said that "Naruto needs fillers", and this is debatable. I hardly think they are pleasing the fans with most of the crap they spill so keeping the show "alive" on their memories every single week of the year, in my opinion, might end up hurting the company more than benefiting. Adopting a 24 episodes per season style should amend that, but since I don't know the specifics about how much (if any) revenue they get from each broadcast it gets hard to say one way or the other is the most profitable way to go. What I do know is that fillers are not necessary AT ALL, in any context that involves anything other than revenue for the company. It adds nothing to the plot, it overuses the concepts the mangaka created and with their limited life span they always get short on men/time resources and what is already bad, most often turns into something even worse due to the importance they get on the studio's pipeline. |

Feel free to dissagree, yet accept other peoples views and please, be respectful. The argument I stated was simply that I feel fillers often miss golden opportunities, as simple as that. Also, there is a lot of 'fanservice', not Highschool of the Dead style 'fanservice' but the maning of the word, which is; appealing to the fans, fanservise could simply involve giving a popular minor a storyline of their own, or simply featuring the characters doing something the audience considers entertaining. |

| Lol, more flashbacks.....? o_O j/k, But.. This flashback story of Iruka-sensei being with Naruto through Iruka's life isn't actually half bad though. The trick he pulled on Iruka-sensei were hilarious. Naruto: "haHA That eraser was just a decoy." *Iruka falls on slippery floor* xD! |
