| For me the forums seem more male dominant while the kind of clubs I hang around, 80%of the people are female. In my particular club circles there's only a handful of males while in the forums I see mostly males. So I'm inclined to say around a third of the users are female. But most of them avoid the boards completely. |

| I think it's safe to assume there are more males than females who have accounts on this website. That being said, I'm not surprised at the 70/30 estimate, but I don't think it's 50/50. Not saying girls don't like anime, it is just that they are less likely to be using this website |

| Also, I like to think its 50/50. Anime is great and there's so much and so many kinds of it. I'm sure anyone, if they tried hard enough, could find one they at least liked. So yeah 50.50 split is what I'm thinking when it comes to gender on this site. |
