| What can I say? Very very sad episode. But a great way to part ways with their nakama. And Luffy found the right words in the end, too. I'm pretty excited about the following episodes. Hard to imagine One Piece without Going Merry :| |
| A very sad, yet good episode. I'm glad Merry got to help its nakama one last time, but I suppose it was time to go. And I'm pumped for the next few episodes. I always love the aftermath of these big arcs. |

| God that was a pretty incredible episode. Well done but still a very sad death. Merry really gave it's all until the very end. At least it was allwoed to save the others one more time. The whole thing was just pulled together. The memories, the snow, the fire, and the tears really wouldn't stop. A sad passing but it couldn't have been done much better than that. |

| Such a sad ending for the arc but this was a long and great arc and the fights were really great~ They were able to get their nakama back but lost their ship. Now I'm just waiting to see what kind of ship will they have next. |

| The best and the most emotional episode I've ever seen in my life! I was really about to cry ... and with that old ED song that they inserted here, everyone remembering their joyful days with Merry, some cryin', just then Merry apologizes!! T_T Nice choice of words Luffy, that was really a perfectly suitable farewell for a nakama! Maaan, that was really touchin' T_T ... BEST EMOTIONAL EPISODE OF ALL ANIMES/MOVIES I'VE EVER SEEN! 1 Billion/5! On another note, I didn't ever comment on the last 50-like eps? Oh, well. I'm gonna make this brief n just containing the main headlines. For people who don't want to read this or waste their precious time, just skip it! The Demons of Ohara's Tragedy, Olivia n Vice-Admiral Saulo ... I'd also say that all the fights with CP9 seemed pretty well done, but for me that last fight with Rob Lucci seemed just waaays toooo exaggerated!! It even took much more time than the whole stuff with the Buster Call 10 Battleships o_O"! You might've not believe it but just when I saw Sanji disappearing then sayin' "Bingo!", I immediately got that he went to the lever of Bridge of Hesitation! xP The one thing, I'd really said to myself "Oh darn! How naive! I'm such an idiot for not anticipating this!" was the last one of Luffy's nakama, the ship! I had completely forgot about it O_O! But when Usopp went on 'bout hearing the voice I started doubtin' it being the ship n became 100% sure it was it when he said to look below xP Luffy's new techniques, Gear Second n Gear Third .. Gear Second is really handy in battles especially it's speed! Gear Third was like "Luffy: I have the arm of the giant" "Me: Oh, ok. whatever." Then after seeing how enormous it really became I was like " wtf? OMG! " but one gotta admit that Luffy in the chibi form was really cute =) xD "Luffy: Korosareru!" xPP Oh yeah, the 3 included episodes that's related to the SP with the Detective Luffy Oyabin were really out of topic >_>" looooool @ Paulie's face turnin all red n all his reaction when Kiwi & Mozu kind of showed their appreciation to him xPP Hmmm, I think those're enough points on this arc. Let's finish the last remenants of it then head for the next arc! Ou! =P |

| Dammit leave it to One Piece to make you emotional over a ship, its ridiculous but still beautiful. The voice just kills me. It was so sad but I couldnt help smirk when Luffy was apologizing and insulting the rest of the group, amazing episode. |
| This has to be one of my favorite episodes EVER in one piece. Such a very depressing sad farewell to the going merry, but it wasn't overly dramatic because of how long they have been with this ship. Its hard to imagine one piece with out the going merry, i wonder whats going to happen now. I'll admit i balled my eyes out, this was truly a sad moment for the straw hats. Also the way they shown alot of flash backs with the going merry and the straw hats and all the adventures they over come, plus how they threw in that BG song during all this, just created such a powerful emotional episode. This is forever going to remain one of my favorite moments in one piece for sure. You were such a strong ship merry, but you will be missed! R.I.P I am now very interested in the follow up to ennies lobby arc, i bet alot of new story developments will take place, can't wait. This was by far the best conclusion to any arc ive seen. |

| No, you aren't seeing things. The character designs have evolved throughout the series, but I'm pretty sure this change you mention started during the Water 7 arc I do believe. Plus, every now and then the show obviously has to have budget cuts considering it's length. Not in this episode I don't believe. |
