DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm glad Kimimaro has been defeated but his life and death were miserable. The stuff Gaara said toward the end of the first half really rang true. The bit with Naruto and Sasuke stood on those statues looked awesome. On to the next half. |

| The animation during some of the scenes at the beginning of the episode was god-awful. The scene where Kimimaro went through the sand shield and knocked Gaara aside looked so bad and worst of all, the animators made Gaara's real skin under the sand armor look like Curse Mark Level 2 Kimimaro's darker skin tone for some bizarre reason. Was quality control really that difficult back then? |
