| I hope everyone realizes this isn't going to have subtitles; it'll be in its original Japanese form. Anyways, I'm excited about this. I pre-ordered vol. 5 and vol. 7 in blu-ray, and they both come with a bunch of extra crap I could really care less about since they're "first releases" and "limited edition". I would buy the other editions, but I don't know if I'd have the money by the time they'd come out, not to mention some of the volumes are already released. I don't always have a whole lot of money, and the money I usually do have I like to spend on other things, so investing $70 + international S&H each for an anime is a bit much. But the volumes I ordered have my favorite episodes + the extra episode so I'm satisfied, and they're being released in a half year time span so I can definitely afford it and not sacrifice other things I want. Also, the 14th episode will be a recollection episode; if if does have extra content, it won't be much, more so, it'll be like ef a tale of memories recollection episode. And I doubt there'll be another season of Angel Beats. To name one reason, Angel Beats didn't leave room for a sequel, so if there was one, it would plainly suck. All I'm hoping for is an ova series, a short one, where some of the plot holes will be covered up, and maybe some build up with Otonashi's and Tenshi's relationship so as to make the last episode not seem "forced" |

There have been people in this thread from what I've observed who are interested in buying this, but like I said, subs don't work on original releases. That's all I was mentioning, that this release isn't going to possess subs. Obviously, with Angel Beats being such a popular show, this is going to be encoded with fansubs. |

| Makes a good point. If it's unaired, then it's either just a recap or a filler. Either way, I'll check it out once it's put up for streaming. Also, I don't see what they would do with a second season. What, they all meet up IRL? It would have nothing to do with what the general point of Angel Beats really was. Unless they're all searching for each other. But meh. If there's another season, I'll probably watch it, too. |

| I don't think a second season is necessary. I'm satisfied with how the series ended in 13 episodes. As for the extra episode, I hope it's not just a recap episode and 5 minutes of extra material at the end. |
