Yo! I am your all normal guy who loves and watches anime in his free time.
umm... yeah... So... um... Well, let's start off with, I'm a student who loves watchin and reading anime in his freetime. the very first anime that motivated me to watch all kinds of anime is Da capo. so if you wanna be friends feel free ^_^!
Gintama is a great filler for free time - always gets a few laughs.
Glad to hear you watched Aria on the back of my rating for Origination. Stunning series and I find Origination to be perfection in as much as it has not a single poor episode. Wonderful.
If you're not hesitant to go for something dark and long Monster is an awesome choice - for its length the little number of filler episodes is remarkable - once you get into it you can't stop watching!
Still not started D.C.III - kinda feeling like I want to watch the four titles that precede it again just to jog my memory and get into the mood for that kinda thing again.
Not got back up to pace with my anime watching yet but now and then watching easier titles like Ginga e Kickoff (fan of soccer anime!) and Chuunibyou which are both pretty good!
Yeah, I agree with Aria! It's just that I've been much busier now. OTL
I've always been reminding myself that I haven't finished it yet, even though I finished the previous season awhile ago. x ^ x;
Although I'm glad that you think that I'd enjoy it, because I'm sure I will enjoy it, too!
Hello there! Good to hear from you. I've just been keeping busy with work and stuff.. so fine thanks. Everything going alright for you?
As for recommendations, it's difficult to stay in the Romance genre as you've seen a lot of the great ones. If you like Drama and Music as well as Romance you should probably give the excellent NANA a try. It is quite long but it's incredibly consistent and get addictive real quick!
For more random recommendations I should say if you haven't seen Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica yet, do so, it's the closest thing to an original classic we've had in quite a while.. especially in the genres it covers... also SHAFT animate it so you'll probably love the production.
Classics-wise - HOW HAVE YOU NOT WATCHED LOVE HINA YET!?!?!? WATCH IT!! xD
I've not picked up anything from this season yet as I'm watching anime from the past.. watching Cross Game, Mnemosyne, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (rewatch) at the moment and will follow with Code Geass probably.
Hope my recommendations help anyway - I can understand the feeling with ef - a tale of melodies... it's really hard to follow something as stunning as that.
The season has almost come to an end and for the most part it's been rather good! How much Kimi ni Todoke 2nd have you got through? It's easily my favorite of the season... and here comes another season!
However!! This season (Winter 2011) is turning out to be very exciting. Madoka Magica, Kimi ni Todoke 2nd, Bakuman and more are all very good watches.
Have a look at my list - this season has got off to a much better start than last season which is great to see. Proves that the "Anime is going downhill as time goes by" theory is nonsense, but we'll see over the next few weeks!
Also, have you checked out the Haruhi film? It's outstandingly good.
Still watching Anime.... slowly but surely. Watching classics has kept me hooked really as watching season-by-season has become quite cumbersome.
On the bright side I can say Arakawa's second season is IMO better than the first. The comedy is great, consistent and the characters get evenly involved which is hard considering how many characters are introduced.
The most exciting arrival is definitely Kimi ni Todoke 2nd!!
Happy new year ~ let's hope it's one of great new Anime! :D

Don't engross yourself too much in newer stuff - I've not heard much of note about new titles.
Saw "Monster" last and it's outstanding.
I'm doing good - "real life" keeping me pretty occupied but still finding to for my beloved anime <3
