| Hmm, can't say I'm entirely surprised that there was something mysterious going on behind the scenes with the student council. This episode also shows that certani people's magic can go out of control such as Cyril. Monica is working pretty hard in her new position so I hope she be careful. Seems she's already getting tired on her first days. I admire her work ethic though. Seems she geninuely wants to be a valuable member at their school. |

| We finally get to see the power of Monica. I know we saw the scene with the dragon raid but this time we saw the thoughts behind it. It was nice to see that the other mage didn't stand much of a chance against her tho the dream she gave him was a real nightmare. The way she helped Cyril was really nice tho. And we also saw some of the stuff going on behind the scene. That being said Louis needs to get a hobby. |
| Swear the first half of the episode was just an opportunity for Monica to flex how OP she is lol. It wouldn’t be a magical school story if we didn’t have a corrupt faculty member researching the dark arts. Thornlee’s dumbass tried wiping Monica’s memory just for her to flip the spell back on him 😂 busting corrupt teachers and saving Cyril, what can’t our shy queen do? The OST and animation when she saved Cyril went so hard. Notice how much more comfortable Monica becomes speaking and how she carries herself totally differently when in a fight/casting spells. You can actually see the moment she goes from being Monica Norton to being the silent witch, one of the Seven mages. She might not be able to hold conversations, but no one’s beating her in this magic shit. Professor Thornlee’s dumbass could’ve literally just asked for a grant or more funding for research, but he knew he was in the wrong anyway so he needed a way to get funds without it bringing too much attention. Omg Cyril and the prince feeding Monica while she’s half asleep is so cute 🥰 now that Cyril knows it was likely Monica who saved him that night, I can’t wait to see their relationship develop. He’s already being way nicer to her and the way he offered to help introduce her to everyone was so sweet. Very good episode as usual |

| A lot of action this episode. Cyril goes out of control and collapses and Monica saves him while fixing up his brooch. She also deals with Professor Thornlee, who was behind the falsification of the accounting records, sending him into a dream of pigs. Studio Gokumi is killing it with the visuals and soundtrack, however they are skipping quite a lot of big things. Such as when the Prince kissed Monica whilst she was busy reviewing the accounting records, which should have been shown last episode. I don't know what this scriptwriter is doing to be honest |

| Aww yeah, starting off Friday with some Bocchi the Magic goodness. Cyril was indeed hiding something and in this case it was the pendant his later father gave him being manipulated to absorb too much mana. With that, Monica was not only able to display blazing ice magic, but also adjust its formula and then face the real culprit in order to make him dream about... pigs. Yes, another aspect I find really engaging is how it flip flops between serious and ludicrous statements specially with characters like Monica being a doofus (like her sleep talking) and now the maid being too blunt with a poker face (that bit about the personality disorder made me crack a smile). I hope this can continue with this level of quality. |

The Silent Witch in action! God that was so beautiful. I find it cool how these familiars/spirits we've seen so far has human forms, it just shows how the individuals who serves as their 'masters' are strong. Monica finally solved the mystery surrounding the student council treasury, and the person behind it was indeed using mind manipulation magic. Monica really took that imperfect spell and reconstructed it into her own perfect formula, and the best way to use it is to torture the culprit with pigs math and numbers hahahaha. And Felix is a cunning man, he already sees what Monica could be and yet he chose to keep her close, and he really likes playing with her lol. Im starting to be more interested with this guy, it may be another case of a prince who wants freedom but is tied to his duty as a royal blood. Louis really put Monica into this mission just because he thought it would be fun to bully her and Felix together lol, the fact that he himself says that Felix is one of the "strong". Cyril may not be sure yet but he probably thinks that Monica could be the girl that saved him that night, and now he's getting softer and helping her out! I swear I love this dork.  |

| The animation for the butterflies wasn't as great as I imagined it reading them. It's still good. I actually thought this scene would take place in Episode 6. |

| This was another great episode, nice to have a bit more details and stuff on certain things like the whole mana sickness thingy or a bit more info on the seven sages. The starseer witch caught my eye particularly so im curious if we will see her at all. More of Louis is greatly appreciated as well I love that man, I'd say like a lot of anime with op main characters this show has a level of like no matter how bad a situation gets Im just never worried because the mc is overpowered and that tends to make the show really dull. That happened with Misfit of the demon king academy. This show not so much since I really like Monica and the world is genuinely interesting. That and the way she uses magic is stunning to watch. Like holy its beautiful. Also dam that dream the dude saw may have looked light-hearted but man it gave me ptsd of the rabbit scene from Re Zero, If you know you know. The bait the prince set for Monica was clever, but I wouldn't be surprised if she knew someone was watching her, regardless I doubt she would have looked anyways. The spirits in this show seem to have a very lifeless tone to them. Also Cyril seems to know or suspect Monica helped him, Idk if he knows she's the silent witch though. Regardless I quite like his character. Other than Monica, Louis and Nero he's probably the only other I have some liking towards. None of the others have been shown enough or had any notable scenes Also interestingly Lana only mentioned 4 of the seven sages. Obviously the 5th would be Monica but curious as to why she never mentioned the final 3. Maybe Monica and the other 2 are different from the rest or something Best shot of any anime this season Monica is a badass  |

| Monica is an adorable dork and fun to watch. But she's way too OP. She's obviously stupid-powerful in a fight and is also skilled in non-combat magic like barriers and mind manipulation. She's good at math and bookkeeping, has good memory, does good detective work. She's hardworking, kindhearted and can read the room, quickly making friends and allies. Her weakness would be her shyness, but she still manages to eventually squeak out what she needs to say. I don't really see a challenge or drama ahead for her. I'm definitely going to keep watching, but I worry she'll quickly become boring... |

I wasn't really expecting the storyline with the corrupt professor to get resolved so quickly; usually that sort of thing gets played out a lot longer.
Seems like Cyril at least suspects it was Monica who helped him, and he's being much nicer to her.
I'm still not sure how nobody in the school recognises her. They explained how she hides at ceremonies so nobody should recognise her as the Silent Witch, but she wasn't really hiding the last time she was at magic school, and she's presumably going to have to use silent casting again as soon as they have magic class at this school...
Seems like Cyril at least suspects it was Monica who helped him, and he's being much nicer to her.
I'm still not sure how nobody in the school recognises her. They explained how she hides at ceremonies so nobody should recognise her as the Silent Witch, but she wasn't really hiding the last time she was at magic school, and she's presumably going to have to use silent casting again as soon as they have magic class at this school...
| @Mirality I'm a bit torn on this, on the one hand I think it's good that she is actually that powerful after she was setup as the most powerful witch pretty much, it would be a bit odd if she couldn't deal with the things in this episode pretty handily. But on the other hand, it will be difficult for her to be challenged by anything, so I wonder what the big conflict in this story will actually be and how it can be a challenge to her after all. |
| Monica finally showed a glimpse of her magical power, and those scenes, combined with the soundtrack, were absolutely breathtaking. It's ironic how sweet and clumsy she seems, but when it comes to spells and formulas, she's a monster, even Louis knows it but takes advantage of her social anxiety to torment her 😅. It turns out that the real culprit in the student council money embezzlement was the professor, who had been erasing memories and mind-controlling students to go unnoticed. Too bad for him: he ran into Monica, who gave him a lesson in what real psychic intrusion looks like. This episode was very enjoyable to watch. It was very tender to see how Cyril started taking care of Monica, and how the prince gave her cookies while she slept like a little woodland creature. Adorable. |

| OST has been aced since the first episode and now even more so in this episode, fantastic job in this regard. Monica showing some of her powers, i do like that they show her in action once in a while. Brilliant animation in those scenes. |
| Seriously, this guy Sakai is everywhere now lol. I mean, he was AEAD on #01 and #02, so seeing him cooking with the effects AD here isn’t a surprise. Speaking of something else for a second, the OST in this episode was really good... but I’m not sure how I feel about them spamming the same track for Monica xD |

| It sounds like the names of the 2 previous accounting "culprits" weren't cleared? If I'm tracking correctly, they were mentally manipulated, as well. It sucks their reputations (and futures, really) have been tarnished through another's actions :/ |

| Another good episode. First half of the episode was just showing how broken Monica can be and well, she definitely is very broken and I wonder what else she can do if she can do all of that this episode. The OST for this episode was so fire, I love the OST for this anime. She must be tired as hell because of the student council stuff, maybe Nero can help with that. 5/5 |
