| Evil Eye Jiji versus Turbo Ken was very sick, lots of beautifully animated moments throughout, and it was also just fun watching these two super powered lads duke it out, it seemed like Evil Eye had this fight locked when he pulled out the house but Ken pretty much said “I’m not locked in here with you, you’re locked in here with me” and did that wild squats move, such a cool moment. But then Ken went and threw all the cool away when he got stuck trying to save Granny lol, I guess we all have our limits. And wow Momo actually managed to defeat the worm, I appreciate that they tied it in with earthworm suicide but at the same time I think it was too easy, like you’re telling me enough water ended up in the ground to force something of that size out? Idk I feel like this could have been done better, like maybe have Momo take down a water tower instead, just more water is all I’m saying lol, but the Mongolian Death Worm’s death scene was really cool at least. Also, Kitos are still alive apparently, my reaction was pretty much the same as Momo’s lol, but damn so I guess the worm was a protector after all, the volcano done did bust a fat one, can the gang stop a volcano? Guess we shall see. |

@MasterHavik when was Momo ever a damsel though? I don't remember a single fight were she have to be carried/saved. In reality she had been way more clutch than Okarun so far.

I do agree she has been a crutch for Okarun though. She isn't a full time Damsel but the plot had a bad habit of making her for an episode or two on top of making her a plot device at times. I put it like this what Momo is doing right now is what I want form Pop Step being an MHA fan. |

| Okarun vs Evil Eye was fun to watch. Okarun defeated the Evil Eye with the power of squats! I feel like Okarun will eventually have to learn how to actually fight. I burst out laughing when Okarun fell in even after Turbo Granny kept begging him not to fall in. Momo is as clever as always. I didn't expect the volcano to start erupting after the worm died. Was it actually helping all along? The Kito family were right? |

| This episode, unlike the one before it, was subpar. That is to say as good as they were and felt like a short, fun, trip on an adventure, it does not hold a candle to the previous episode in terms of linking to other episode. As a solo episode even it might be a bit... meh. Even the cliff hanger was not that good. Maybe I'm reflecting on how I'm used to the cliff hanger of this show. Regardless of how I felt, or what I think. This episode is great, sort of. Great Fighting scene, funny quips, even okruns training is shown in a form of progress. Great but something is missing and I can not for the life of me bring myself to write about what, or even picture, it might be. Rating time!!! I would rate these the same, if only MAL worked properly so I can refer my own comment without having the shitty list of not being able to see my own DARN comment Plot: 9/10 progressing through the story and sticking to the build up of previous episode. -1 for awh factor Backstory: WORMS!!! 8/10 the build up from previous episode wasnt really talked to an extreme like last time but it was still explored on. Again lacking in exploration of how to present it like last episodes but still great! Soundtrack: 7/10 beep boop Music: i love the ending and opening beep boop 8/10 Overall: 9/10 I love this show, and well cant really rate all the episodes badly? haha. I'm being biased and still criticizing the show like it a bad behavior. I love the visuals, loved the spectral show down, the emotional VA delivery and overall engagement it has over me. I hope it was the same for everyone else too |

| Another solid episode. Okarun's training really paid off this episode with the 5x20s, not to mention how much heavy stuff he had to lug around. If he was himself from episode 1, he probably would have collapsed by now. Momo is now an arsonist, I guess. How will she get out of answering to legal authorities after the arc is over? |

| Amazing ep Calm lil momokarun moment before sending her up. That battle between Okarun and Evil Eye was great, love how the animation looked despite twitter saying that production will be quite alarming onwards. Hope the production can stay in tact, cause we have sum calm eps, before some good stuff comes again. Unfortunate that there is slight melt within the first 3 eps. Evil Eye's cursed house battle with Okarun reminds me of the telephone booth boxing that was going viral last year. He really squat uppercut Evil Eye 100 times, through 5 sets of 20 LMAO. Manga was quite different as he only did 1 set of 20 reps. Bro really held onto his promise of not letting Evil Eye get away with his disrespect to his friends. It was truly funny seeing Turbo Granny screaming for help, just for Okarun to do the same thing sum minutes later. This ep adapted the rest of 42 to 43-45 and 1/3 of the chapter. 10/10 |

| I think, Okarun finally decided to fight, Turbo Granny is really strong in a yokai aspect. But now, was the worm actually preventing the volcano from erupting, or is there something paranormal that we haven’t figured out yet. |

| Whoa, wow, wow. I was really glued to the screen during Okarun vs Jiji's fight. So cool!!! This episode was full of running and punching, everything was impressive. Aaaah I love the ending song but every time it comes up it means I have to wait a week for the continuation... so excited!! |

| Am I the only one who got goosebumps during that "1-20" scene? I literally replayed it three times because of how good it was. I was even yelling "TWENTY!" in sync with Ken, haha. The OST playing during the pummeling was incredible too. That aside, I didn't initially understand why Momo set the house on fire, but her flashback cleared it up. She did it so that the firefighters would come and spray water on the house. The water would then seep underground, forcing the earthworm to come out, only to be burned by the sun. That said, the cliffhanger was a bit confusing. I loved how the Kito lady didn’t give a damn about surviving the earthworm and instead was more concerned about the eruption Momo supposedly caused. I wonder how she did that, though. I also wonder how our gang is making their way back to the surface. |

| @MasterHavik God forbid a female is put in any dangerous situation in the year 2025, because everyone knows that such beings of light are inmune to dangers and being in one is automatically sexists or something like that. Your two examples are bad takes. In both cases she is: 1 - Not asking a man in particular for help, even less a prince charming 2 - She saves herself using her own capacities 3 - The external help she receives is from a woman (turbo granny, be it by possessing okarun in 1st ep or by using her "luck" in the onsen or when she was inside the backpack) I can accept that she got saved by Okarun in this episode (first time it actually happens), but even so she was fighting on her own and Okarun was just a clutch that was going to join sooner or later to pair with her. She then proceeded to defeat the bigger threat of the arc by herself. Okarun has been in danger time and time again and always saved by momo, is he a guy in distress or just someone going through the events of the story that coincidentially are dangerous in most cases? |

| As usual, the animation for the battle between Evil Eye and Okarun was really impressive. While it did look really bad for Okarun when he got trapped in a house Evil Eye created and then got throttled multiple times, Okarun did turn the battle completely on its head with his speedy squat set which won him the fight. It was amusing as it was awesome to see him pull off a win here. Then he went on to have a skill issue when trying to rescue Turbo Granny from her situation. So near, yet so far. XD As for Momo, she had to take many risks with her plan, including setting the house on fire and almost getting arrested for it by the police, but the plan to get the earthworm above ground worked as the sun was still around to kill it off. I did think that the arc would end around here, but that volcano actually erupting did surprise me a bit. Looks like things will have to be settled here and there next time. Great episode overall. |
