| Makuwa-Sensei and Kukumi carry this show whenever they're in it. That really should have been the anime right there. No idea why they thought spending half an episode on Uron Mirage was a good idea. Maybe just another example of something they thought would be funny that didn't land at all. |
| What a bunch of miserable people here lmao I thought the episode was pretty fun.. also, love how Otsuka always voices those type of characters, it isn't really a shounen without him in there. I feel like they nailed the parody pretty well with the whole JJK/DS vibe, but I wish we got a whole Uron Mirage episode. Maybe one day lol |

And what do you mean they have the main cast of Sket Dance to voice them too!? Sensei and Kuku teaming up to bring their fantasies to life, what a great otaku friendship! The main group didn't get much screen time but... swimsuit episode next week?? |
| I think it would suffice to say that I was completely fooled by the first 5 mins or so of the episode, xD. They even got Who-ya Extended for this, that’s crazy dedication. |

The idea of a spoof anime trolling the viewer is within the creative flex that this defines this show from the start.
But the problem with this Uron Mirage segment other than the effort put into it is that its purpose feels unclear. Regular eps are great because they take some fun set ups and push them as beyond boundaries of reasonable outcome, like Doraemon gadgets on crack (and in the prior ep, actual crack?). This here needed to be an extreme spoof that's in line with the ridiculous universe of Witch Watch but it's bland like a third rate JJK or Demon Slayer.
If you're gonna spoof something you better go all out, should've had completely idiotic and incoherent characters babbling incoherently and doing utterly stupid stuff beyond the boundaries of regular battle shonen, and somehow our real characters take it very seriously. Instead it's just bland, which is a waste of viewers time.

| This might be the first time. I really thought I had downloaded the wrong episode and had to look ahead lmfao. They even made an opening and ending for this. What a surreal experience, getting to watch an anime within an anime, and it lasting for half the episode lol. They also tried to make it look like Demon Slayer to some extent. |

| I had to fast forward a little for the first half, didn't care all that much about the TV show. But the second half is really funny to me. It's ironic that I actually enjoy the story between the otaku teacher with her student a lot more than the main characters. I would like to see the spin-off of just these two creating that manga lmao. Sensei is the best character in the whole show. |

| Honestly one of my favorite episodes. I love Kukumi's and Yuuri's relationship. Anime rarely commits that hard to the fake out intro and this one even creating a unique op and ed so well done. |

| That was such a unique way to mix the story with the sub-story. I liked both the OP and the ED. I just realized it now, Makuwa sensei looks so pretty, she kinda reminds me of Miyako from Oshi no Ko. |

| After the arc that just happened, it would make sense they would follow up with a more silly and chill episodes revolving around side characters. It's pretty funny they made both an OP and ED for the anime that's airing within the show. But overall, I found this one to be a little boring. |

| Another great episode of Uron Mirage. Episode 119 had much more ambiguous dialogue, and I honestly loved how confusing it was. Oboro and Utsuro are totally compatible, and I hope Sagiri manages to rescue Zack. I'm excited to see what happens.... Honestly, Uron Mirage is so perfect that she even got Otaku Sensei and Kukumi to become close friends. They don't even hide their secrets anymore. And now they've teamed up for a high-level collaboration: one writes the story and the other does the art. I can't wait to see the manga that will come out of this duo. |

| oh my god. I WAS GOING CRAZY WHEN I HEARD THE VOICES OF THE MAIN CHARS OF URON MIRAGE. HIMEKO, BOSSUN, TSUBAKI AND SWITCH. SKET DANCE MAIN CHARACTERS' SEIYUU. (which is made by the same author of this series, Witch Watch) and add up to this shot in the ED which is obviously referencing Sket Dance 1st OP    |

| The insert anime in Part 1, I didn't like that much, though if it becomes a full pledged anime, I might. The matrix reference is so unreal. Well, sensei no longer has to hide being Dengeki Melon. |

| It totally fooled me too, and on an academic level I THINK I can see what they were going for, but this just didn't work for me. I just didn't find it particularly funny and missed our main characters. Weakest episode so far, but I won't let it detract from the overall score as it feels like a one off. They took a big swing, so fair enough, but it was definitely a swing and a miss for me personally. |
| Tricked me into checking if I was watching a wrong anime. Idea was good but execution not so much. Ultimately a BORING episode. Couldn't care less about Otaku teacher-student relationship either. Skippable episode. |
| This was the best episode of Uron Mirage yet!!! I'm so hyped to see how they defeat the phantoms and find the phasey. But when it comes to witch watch, you know it's a great episode when the plot involves the homeroom teacher Yuri going full otaku mode with Kukumi. I hope this newly formed writer - artist duo finds success. |

| Gotta say, I totally understand Makuya sensei - the difference between old-school otaku and new is striking. Like she said, you had to hide your fandom back in the day, but it's so good to see how open everyone is now. It's kinda like the world we oldtaku all dreamed of has finally come to pass, at least in this aspect ^^ |

| Oh man, I was so confused. That first part of the episode had me going to check if I accidentally clicked some other anime. The animation and stuff still looked more or less like this show, but I was definitely a little thrown off by how long it was. Still, the second half of the episode was pretty cute. That teacher is nuts, but it was still a pretty adorable scene. I had kinda been waiting for it. |

| Wow, i was convinced someone messed up this episode's upload and was convinced to watch a completely different series. And it dragged on and on until 1/3 of the running time. Luckily, Nico and the rest of the cast returned and they were watching too, with much more interest than me. And the teacher / student fangirling about the show was still somehow more entertaining than the show itself. Had to rewind and add subtitles along with italian dub when the scene became Matrix-ish. And... The rooftop confrontation. Yeah. Got ya. Not gonna lie, first half was way too long but still justified a really entertaining second half. Having the main cast ending it all with "we barely appeared this time" was a cool 4th wall breaking touch. |

| For the longest time, I thought I downloaded the wrong anime when I watched the first ten minutes of this episodes. I was ready post a thread asking if anybody else was having the same problem. I'm hoping we get to see more of the cat girl in the following episodes. |

| Bruh. They didn't just animate half an episode of a fake anime but also went as far as creating an OP and an ED for it... Sure, they're generic as hell but I don't think any other series went as far as this one. Yeah, My Dress-up Darling had fake anime episode skits in it which were very high quality and could easily be mistaken as real anime but here they just went to a different level including the OP and ED. Anyone who thinks that OP is better than the real cour 2 OP is delusional tho. Well, this was certainly one of the episodes ever made. The Uron Mirage part was completely nonsensical, and if there were jokes in it, I didn't get most of them. But that's probably the point. It seemed like the author was parodying Demon Slayer or whatever crap was popular when this chapter was written lol. Kukku and her sensei's friendship continues... This time they're actually teaming up to write a manga?! That's kinda wholesome. But I just don't care as much about them. So it felt like a filler episode. If they skipped this episode nothing would change. Hopefully the next episode will make up for it. |
