| too bad they didn’t adapt that manga panel where Marina was kicked in the guts from Takopi. But well, it was censored and switched with the happy camera hit even in the manga. Kinda wanted to see it animated. Amazing episode again |

| This episode board got dark, rather quickly. Not a manga reader (yet) but really interested where they're going with this and what exactly is the overarching message that the author intends to get across. The first two episodes have been extremely compelling and haven't shied away from anything. I'm hoping that's not entirely the end of Marina, as I definitely think there's stuff to work through with her character and her misplaced anger and powerlessness. But, we'll have to see where they are in fact going. |
| If One thinks that this abuse and bullying is fictional they would be wrong. This is real shit that goes on everyday in every neighbourhood probably. But I've seen much worse bullying and child abuse in Japanese live-action drama.. Also I've noticed the recurring theme that it's always the mother who abuser and the father is the one who leaves the family.. In the my wife is a grade schooler, it was also the mother w who was abusive, likewise in Erased. I think they toned it down for the anime, cutting off abuse Marina-chain get from her mother or Shizuka gets from her mother and also cut off Shizuka's mother only caring about men and sex and whoring often abusing Shizuka and not feeding her. |

4/10,dislike this episode,the plot feels too forced,it's like they went all out to make everything as dark as possible.
| @Kkkaptain Yes, it was pretty much a misery-porn at one point and it doesn't help that her whole struggle is shown through the eyes of this "cutesy" pink blob. In spite of those things I wouldn't say I dislike it and the seemingly irreversible murder and her reaction to it was actually an interesting turn of events. @RainyEvenings Yep, japanese movies about bullying like River's Edge or All About Lilly Chou-Chou, can be extremely brutal. Child abuse, which in japanese movies is mostly about abusing mothers, actually is even a more frequent theme, I have seen almost a dozen of them. Interestingly, just like you too said, abusing fathers are more rare in japanese cinema. |

| Amazing ep once again While I thought that Shizuka was finally safe, Marina has other plans as she makes it a life goal to find her and Chappy on day 6. Having to see Shizuka lose Chappy so many times wasn't fun as she lost the last thing that was precious to her. Sure, Takopi does his all to help, but he is simply too stupid to comprehend some things, which leads to destroying Shizuka's life more. POV shots and animation was great. We even meet the mother and Shizuka's father more clearly. The mother is seriously a bum and the father is worse than trash, as he is the root of it all for not staying solid. But, at the same time, the mother is guilty as much. Even, Marina who is brainwashed to the core, thinks that the Shizuka's mother is at fault, when it's really her father. Ignorant asf. Takopi is too much of a wuss to watch Shizuka get beat up again, but surprisingly, he kills Marina with the camera. This becomes Takopi's original sin and now the camera is broken, along with time travel now being out of the equation. Just thought that was really cool, and the events that happened in 7 days. Who know what will happen later. Could we call this retribution in a sense, tho Shizuka didn't do it, but got her "wish". Now, day 7 can start on a good note, I hope. Marina was left there and there's a high chance that we will see Shizuka either in jail or in questioning bc of prior reasons. Mind u, Takopi can't be seen unless he removes his flower. Really stoked to see how this story moves on from now. After watching some reaction videos, some comments arose that made TOO much sense. Takopi’s original sin was not listening to his mother about the rules of the happy gadgets, similarity in the Bible, God’s first children, Adam and Eve didn’t listen to God when they were told not to eat from the tree of knowledge. Takopi’s second sin was killing Marina with the camera, while the Bible has Cain, who killed Abel with a rock. 10/10 |

| ahh I think I am able to process my brain now What the FUCK HAPPENED ?!!? wasn't expecting any of it that happened it's truly fucked up. I mean I'm somewhat satisfied with the results but just the gruesome reality that a life has been taken no matter now sinful that life was is it really justifiable karma with death of a mere child of 7-8 year old? hmm? As an anime only I'm intrigued Fully! can't wait for the next episode for more drama tho- suicide, murder now what Takopii turning into Eren |

| Truly incredible. This episode was extraordinary and the final scene was pure perfection. Might make its way into my all time favorites if it keeps this up. |
| The real story finally begins. I hope the director can stick it out to the end. This series really needs to have its tones juggled expertly for it to work later on without feeling so dissonant that it falls flat or comes off as comedic. Looking forward to the rest of the adaptation. |
