| Despite how Okarun feels towards Jin (mostly jealousy), he's a pretty fun guy to be around with. I actually like his energy and chemistry alot. Even that soccer segment had its entertaining moment. We got fan service for season 1's finale with the spa. Poor Momo had to watch some dudes in front of him pour water on themselves lmoa. It looks like they went with a fun season finale rather than some blockbuster action based episode. Well executed imo as it's still very entertaining. Can't wait for Season 2 in July. |

| An anatomical model becoming a victim of japan’s favourite, truck-kun, can never be a part of anyone’s to-do list, right? Though yeah, pretty much anything is possible in this series, so yeah, thumbs up to him he didn’t get iseaki’d or something. Btw, Okarun acting like a jealous freak can be a bit tiring sometimes, because he never makes an effort making his intentions clear to Momo, but yeah, isn’t that the standard stuff for anime protags? At least here, he’s trying to do something. Anyway, Jiji’s house is as haunting as it can be… not through appearances, but literally by the feel around it. That particular scene with those old people around just screams, “get the fuck out of there”, though hey, they here to solve the problem so of course, they can’t xD This will be one hell of an arc again. Sucks that we need to wait six months for that, but yeah, good things take time. Someone save Momo though... lmaooo xD Immensely enjoyed this adaptation, really. So yeah, this adaptation deserved all the love and care, and rightfully, this did get those as well. Always knew this series would blow up whenever it gets the adaptation, and again yeah, it did. Never have doubted Science Saru. I’m more interested about the stuff, the absurdly absurd stuff waiting ahead. Season two is already coming, and I just hope we get continuations post that as well. This really is the top two of this season. |

| Truly only Dandadan can take characters as dumb as anatomical models and give them the saddest and yet most beautiful story ever. But yeah though, new character means new thing to deal with, this time with it being Jiji's house, and yeah, off the bat we get these ugly bastards surrounding the house... already off to a bad start, a TERRIBLE one at that. Though, I'm glad that they at least added the soccer match with Okarun and Jiji before the break, was needed to show that Jiji ain't all too bad. Though, what was NOT needed before they go on the break was the addition of the ugly bastards and Momo.... yeah you know. And ending it off with the reveal of THE room. Hell of a cliffhanger, but we won't be gone for long, as we'll be back as soon as Summer of next year. One HELL of an adaption. Science SARU my GOATS. |

| I came into this anime with zero expectations knowing it was toilet literature and got my preconceived notions confrimed. Crazy how EP7 was the only good episode from this anime and that happens in a narrative and thematic vacuum; this was basically Chainsaw Man but stripped of any underlying substance behind the vulgar ADHD humour that that story tried to tell. Dandadan really felt like an anitwit anime. Not the most overhyped anime of the year (that's still Frieren), but this is close. Even Re:Zero was more palatable from this season. |
| The anatomical models...Hana being salvaged rather than Taro, now there's more than one extra weirdo in the house, Okarun's position as Momo's potential boyfriend is being threatened by Jiji, though both guys are peas in a pod with their idiosyncrasies lols. Taro running for days on end trying to find Hana (which he eventually did), and soon it's time to face Jiji's cursed house...which his nightmare will continue the torment. There's still one half of Okarun's nuts left to find, and the threat between himself and the childhood friend bursts into one of competitiveness, though the occult will...win with Jiji's rather flabbergasted expressions. And the cursed house located at the corner of a hot springs town, it doesn't look all that creepy without any spirits around in broad daylight. And for the time being, why not enjoy soaking in the hot springs, which is Momo's motive anyways, leaving the guys to hang out with each other...and argue how much they love Momo in different ways...except that Okarun can't exactly mention to Jiji that he did accidentally kiss her. While Momo dips within the co-ed bath with a group of old men acting as alligators, the guys noticing a false wall that leads to a sinister path...and that's the stopping point for Season 1! What an adaptation this is, but not surprising considering it's Science SARU. We'll pick this back up again in Summer next year... |

| Managing to tire out someone with as much stamina as Jiji enough for him to catch his breath is a feat Okarun should genuinely be proud of. It being during a gentlemen's duel over who loves more things about Momo is just the icing on the cake. While the Season 2 announcement is awesome, cliffhanger season finales are plain cruel lmao |

| wow they ended it in a weird spot but im excited for season 2 eventually. felt as though the last few episodes lacked the quality/hype of the first two thirds but overall not bad at all |
| 12 episodes came by and go, this season has been some of the most enjoyable sequels seasons with Dandadan airing as the premier season. I should've read the manga when it I came across it a year or so ago, but then again, maybe it's best that I didn't. Each ep was a blast to watch and the dynamics between Okarun and Momo were endearing to see. Ending this season finale with a cliffhanger is DEVIOUS work, not to mention poor little Okarun hasn't even managed to find his balls yet, I thought it would be a quick couple-eps pursuit to get it back after they beat Turbo Granny, seems like his balls might just be the "One Piece" of Dandadan. Well... The good news is that the 2nd season is immediately announced. Summer of 2025 isn't too far away, Post-Pandemic time dilation would take us there soon enough. |

| Comedy was pretty cringe and easily the worst part of the episode just like previous one. All the episodes after episode 7 were pretty weak but atleast the final episode wasn't that bad. Science saru really shut down all those who were complaining and doubting them by elevating the series and giving us such a nice adaptation. |

| Peakness has ended, I'll miss Dandadan. This is truly a amanzing combination of many genres into one especially the comedy being my favourite. I expect amazing things in the future for the series. 9/10 for the series. |

| Just like in my educational documentaries. I don't really have a lot to say about Dandadan. Animation is solid, and I appreciate the cool villains and batshit comedic moments. It's a solid 8/10. Certain characters piss me off too much to go any higher. Looking forward to the second season. Maybe not with the enthusiasm of "Give Season 2 or I steal your balls," but this was entertaining. |

| And that’s a wrap! season 2 can’t come soon enough here. What a cliffhanger to leave off on though. Not a fan of the author’s fascination with rapey characters. Like cmon do we need another situation where Momo is about to be assaulted? But on the whole, manga fans were right to hype this one up. Story still taking shape but the characters are more than enough to carry it for now. Momo and Okarun were so fun and adding Jiji is like putting gunpowder in a fire. Imagine how funny it’s gonna be with Aira gets there too. I thought we were gonna get a confession based on how things went last week with the anatomy dummy, but I guess that’ll be after this arc now that the rapey aliens have showed up. Poor Okarun was going THRU it watching Jiji make momo laugh. As a man, ain’t too much more hurtful than watching another dude make your girl laugh loud af. Lot of cool groundwork laid in this cour. I’ll miss it on Thursdays. Science SARU did a great job. Will most likely be checking out the manga here in the interim! |

| Por un momento pensé que Jiji iba a decir que sólo quería ser amigo de Momo y que apoyaba a Okarun, pero no... jajaja qué lástima Igual pareciera que de no ser por estar ambos enamorados de momo, serían muy buenos amigos, así que confío en que van a resolver sus diferencias de alguna manera. | "Seesh anatomical models in heat"😭😭 I expected some sort of cliffhanger but they just cut it in the worst place possible. I think they should have taken more help from Aira or turbo baba cause it is very dangerous. No Aira antics for sometime now, sad. Okarun jealousy is way too much but Jiji is a hilarious dude. You really can't hate him. Hope this situation with his house and family gets resolved. I heard mixed things about evil eyes arc. Incredible show from start to finish. Came with 0 knowledge and expectations but episode 1 hooked me in. And things only peaked more. Great characters, crazy af villains and plot. Truly outstanding . Ez 10. Can't wait for S2 of Okarun's ball heist🫡 |
| That's it? Bruh. I am happy that a season 2 was announced before the last episode dropped but damn. Ending the first season in the middle of an arc just feels weird. And it's going to be a 6-month wait for the next part. Bruh. At least it's not gonna take years to come out... But I'm still a bit disappointed. I guess I can't complain too much cause the production quality will probably be just as good if not better than season 1. Anyway, man I really thought Taro was dead there for a second. Really glad he was fine. Would've been shitty if he died after all that. I guess it's shitty for Okarun that he couldn't find his second nut. Man, I'm loving Jiji. He's a bit obnoxious but he makes a perfect rival for Okarun. He's the ultimate extrovert while Okarun is the ultimate introvert. They also make great friends. Too bad they're both into Momo tho. But I think Aira would be perfect for Jiji. They both have similar personalities that will complement each other. That ending was a huge cliffhanger. Man I hate getting blueballed like this. This might be one of my favorite shows of the year. I can't wait for the next part! |

| Didn't expect for it to end like a regular episode. I think I'd rather if they said this was Season 1 Part 1 since "Part 2" comes out in 6 months. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. Finally a recent Shonen that I can at least say it's good. After having two overrated slops that everyone on the community wouldn't shut up about (obviously talking about KNY and JJK), this is a breath of fresh air. Sure I think it still suffers from some of the shounen issues, like somewhat convoluted worldbuilding, resulting in stakes being reduced and battles being resolved with Deus Ex Machina. But overall, the characters are actually charismatic (at least the two main ones and the grandmas), romance is barebones but in a good way, solid comedy, and most importantly it has heart. KNY and JJK could try ass much as they want, they probably wouldn't make the viewer care about what's happening on screen as this show did on episode 7. It shows the difference between having a screenwriting with actual care, a director that understand about human emotions, and a project that isn't built around creating mindless Sakugas on the cost of crunching their animation team. Rn I think romance might suffer for being too much on the spotlight early on, since it's set to be a long show, but other than that, this show made me have hope on anime and its community again |
