Another superb episode, though I can't figure out what was altered with it; No giantic censors as there was in episode 3.
I figured(just like the rest of you) that Fumika's wounds would heal, but I found it funny that her clothes healed as well. But it's anime, that stuff always happens.

Really awesome episode. So, multiple personalities is the explanation for all this? Personally, I didn't see that coming, so i'm happy with this resolution. I was sorta surprised that so much was resolved this episode. But I guess there is still the matter of why Fumika is unconscious and what will happen to Mika when she wakes up.

Split personality I didn't see it coming.
I wonder if Fumika will wake up and if that happens what's going to happen with Mika.

1. Definitely glad that story is focusing on fumika even more;

2. To hell with kirameki. How can he just write all over fumika's body with a sharp pen like that

*Fumika gets shot*
*Kaname beats the shit out of Kirameki*

Natsuka's sister: Please stop! That's Mikawa Kirameki-sensei!

Are you shitting me?! She just saw someone get shot and that's how she reacts? Totally ruined the mood. Because of that, I was so annoyed while watching the whole episode.

If she killed him then this would have had a different turn of events. It didn't but this episode was still amazing.

I had the same reaction too, if she wanted to stop Kaname, that wasn't a good reason for him to stop punching Kirameki.

The publishers are POS. Hiding abuse just so they can profit from Kirameki's books? Are they even human?

I think that Kirameki did use ink, but he would wound her whenever he became enraged (which might be very often). Ugh, Kirameki is a such a disgusting person who needs to at the very least, go to a mental hospital.

I thought they would've kept the mystery behind Fumika until later, but I'm glad it was revealed this episode. Dissociative identity disorder was indeed what I was thinking of, although I'm unsure if that can happen in real life, where both personalities can talk to each other? Poor Fumi though, she sent herself into a coma because she felt guilty.

Most mc's converging at the central place where Fumika's disturbing backstory happened, some coincidences with the sister editor but this scripting was quite smooth.
Narcissist sociopath novelist vs split personality postgirl, and psychy cinematography made it that much more bizarre, semi Shafty.
Oneesan editor just appeared but already has personality depth.
Sides like teachers/publishers/students all seem so selfish & cold, ignoring family abuse for more sales. I thought Sankarea was the show with most severe daddy issues, but this show totally wins.

Great episode, Fumikas split personality probably resulted due to massive abuse.

It was a very sad episode, not so much as it had discovered the secrets of Kirameki, the fact that the public knew but was silent about what was happening, what a horror! But the fact that Mika reveals so easily what happened to Fumika in her childhood, makes me feel a little nose, I felt a little more reserved as a character. The sister of Natsuka, is really fun and reliable.

I don't like splitted personalities, that's just an overused trope for an incredibly rare mental condition.
But I'm positively surprised that they didn't go with the Elfen Lied-route and made her a murderer on a mindless killing spree or something.
So, that was pretty good and not edgy like I fear it would get.

Guess trauma is always the reason why many people have bipolar disorder
I never see another reasons for having bipolar

Love how it resolved
Kinda hate it how they didn't show us how Kirameki ended up like
But sometimes unknown/keeping it as a mystery is better

Next ep, I can see the worse problem is coming

Natsuka's sister know that at least one person killed herself because of his filthy books and yet she still want him to write more?

That was pretty heavy emotionally, though I wish there was more insight into the mind of Kirameki. The "artist gone lunatic" trope is too common and often doesn't get enough development, similarly to the "crazy scientist" trope. But damn, I almost teared when "Fumi-chan" was talking to "Mika" in the bath tube, to think that the way she would find to cope with the abuse she received was to create another personality both to give her consolation and also to take her blame from the hatred she felt towards her father, of which she felt very guilty.

I straight up don’t give a shit about Fumika or her father’s arc.
I just wanna see more of the episodic episodes where Fumika comes in at the end to deliver the letter.

This anime feels like 2 different shows.

Still wonder how that guy with the glasses even recognized Fumika a few eps back as she looks totally different than the girl in a coma.
