The amount of drama this episode is pretty intense, especially in the first half.

What a reversal of fate though. Pride's selfless nature gets her an ally. She also displayed a great deal of charisma to the people and made a strong impression of herself imo. So much feels this episode.

This is a well executed episode.

After watching this episode, it makes me feel like this is a one of a kind story and not one of those generic ones who we usually get.

How the background/supporting characters reacted to the unbelievable message Princess Pride gave me goosebumps. Now this is what a true and realistic character looks like—is what I thought.

I don't know about you but I thank Muse Asia for allowing me again to watch this in real time. I also love how they went and added English Subtitles while the opening song is playing. This is how it should be... for those of us who need it.

Also, I get to see another side of our Princess Pride while she is being carried like a princess. She was quite adorable... >.<
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I like episodes like this a lot because they don’t just gloss over things.

It was very illogical for Pride to save the knights last week and the way she knew about the other magic user was sus. It’s only natural that the knights and other people would want explanations as to how she knew that.

I think Pride navigated that situation as well as possible and gained the respect of everyone in attendance as well as a new knight at her side in Arthur.

This show continues to set itself apart from other Otome in how well written its scenario and characters are.

Instead of just focusing on a big overarching demon Lord battle or something generic, they’re focusing on character relationships and that’s why it’s one of my faves this season.

weekly pride appreciation post most gorgeous girl this season.

I feel like not that much really happened (?) even dialogue-wise, and it could be condensed to everyone’s happy the captain survived and the son Arthur will be OP.

The animation in the early sections of the episode also looked a tiny bit janky-CG 👀

Still interested to next episode though, and hopefully there will be more plot development next time.

Anyone noticed that Pride forgot about this part? The part where she mocked Arthur. She also didn't remember the cliff collapsing until she remembered an in game conversation with Arthur. But here it is shown the in game pride was present when the cliff fell. So, I think she just forgot since the story didn't sway much from the in game one in terms of the cliff collapsing. This makes sense honestly. Not remembering every detail of the game makes sense instead of knowing literally every event that's about to take place.

I guess at one point Pride will become her old self, and try to do evil things again, but she'll be saved by her harem eventually.

I agree, so far the adaptations were not really that good. Then this EP came.

I've read this part in the manga, I know what's going to happen. Damn, how this EP still gives me chills (especially Pryde's speech there).

Thank goodness Roderick was saved, which was a stark contrast to what happened in the original timeline. It was quite amusing to see everyone making fun of Pride, the adorable 11-year-old goofball, as it was evident that she was far from having any "sex appeal" or similar notions.

While I understand Roderick's perspective, Pride also raised a valid point. Her life holds more value than she realizes, and there are numerous people who would be devastated without her presence. Furthermore, she has gained a new ally, someone who can potentially intervene if she ever veers off the right path. The future has undeniably changed, and this altered timeline will shape Pride into a different person compared to what she was in the original timeline. Stale should be cautious as this kid now poses a formidable competition.

It's nice Pride gained a new ally, but I can already see Stale not liking very much of Arthur. Things are bound to get interesting!

This is a surprisingly great adaptation so far, at least in terms of not rushing through a novel in 3 episodes, we'll finish Vol. 1 next episode.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

I liked this episode so much, both sides were right on the problem and with their points of view, there were a lot of mixed feelings, pride, honor, duty and so much in the line but at the same time everyone was thankful for the outcome and then it was an impactful monologue at the end by Arthur.

Stale was having none of it but nothing better to bring the best out of you than a rival.

I just want to say how clever it is that the isekai power here is seeing the future. It opens a lot of story possibilities tied into actually knowing how the otome game is going to turn out without the annoying sidetracks I get annoyed with in other stories in this genre.

I really like how this anime is going. I know it has the same theme as the Otome Game Villainess (All Flags Lead to Doom) which came before it but this has a more balanced (albeit leaning to a more serious) tone. I think they are both light novels as well.

Also Pride has better powers than the aforementioned story so we have that as a plus as well.

I also tried to pick up the manga adaptation but sadly, it did not go that far before getting axed so I guess the anime is a good way to go for now.

Anyways, looking forward to the next episode!

I'm really liking the episodes' openers of "what if" scenarios of Pride comparing herself in-game, as to now the opposing factual behaviour that she's working for everyone's good.

Everyone is saved thanks to Pride, though her assistance rendered is both a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that Captain Rodrick and the rebel's leader is captured alive, and while Pride herself got some good action going for her, her senseless reveal of her bare legs gave the impression that she has no sex appeal as a growing child, but she'll get there in time. That was the funny part that gave me chuckles.

The curse is at the behest of a death: a knight who's ready to die for his kingdom, as opposed to an upcoming queen whose death will shake a kingdom to its knees. Sure, Captain Rodrick has a point that Pride has to reaffirm her points, much less avoid the fact that she knew the in-game events by revealing her intentions to everyone. Despite the back-and-forth arguments between Rodrick and Pride, Vice-Captain Clark and the knights are thankful, as is his very son, Arthur Bersford, yet another love interest, pledging his loyalty to the latter, because she know that he'll be the one to deal with her in the future. Rodrick collapses in tears, though Arthur may have very well written his path on protecting her instead.

Gaining allies instead of enemies, the new Pride is a change in the right direction.

I agree they went overboard in this episode. But in my (unpopular) opinion, they went so far that it became amusing instead.
It'll be interesting to see if they can keep that up in later episodes.

At this point, toning it down would seem to be a lost opportunity to stand out from other "villainess" stories.

Definitely better than last week’s episode imo. First off, really enjoyed Pride getting overly embarrassed over her legs being exposed and her reaction after being laughed at lol, there’s a chance they could see a bit more than her legs which might explain why she reacted that way but it was still pretty silly after the terminator princess we saw last episode.

And Pride getting lectured for her actions makes sense, I was kinda glad to see they didn’t just shower her with praise after her recklessness, but everything Pride said is also true and I like the resolution they came to, and now Arthur is on his way to becoming a knight in a better way then in the game, looking forward to seeing how that goes.

Holy shit this was such a good episode!!!

So many emotions and such good scenes! I absolutely loved this episode. Everything about it was great. I'm enjoying this so much more than All Flags Lead to Doom. (Not to degrade that series as much, just this series is way more up my alley) And the scene where all the knights were laughing at her was hilarious. I was laughing with them. Such a good MC.

I cant wait for later in the series when all the romance targets share information and realise they've all been told in one way or another to kill the MC if she goes rogue. It'll create some interesting reactions.

Yea, the way they're making this.

Sounds like it's setting up to when OG-Pride regain control of the body and MC-Pride goes into "sleep" and the harem has to find a way to wake up MC-Pride.

(which interestingly, it might be similar to the other semi-Villainess series where the Villainess contained the last boss and at the end they had to gather up the harem's power to fight it in order to save the Villainess)

I mean.. yes and no this is more her believing herself to be evil in her current form (which she most obviously is not I mean it couldn't be more obvious lol) Her current mentality seems to be both her strength and weakness..

Though here is a heavy spoiler if you want, again its a spoiler with pretty decent detail.. just the heads up to you (or anyone else) so ignore if you want ofc ^^

Until now the show is just great!
Yes, the premise is something we've seen before... and? It manages to be interesting, putting real stakes and the characters are pretty nice to watch.
One might say there even is a psychological layer to the show. If it's developped in futur episodes, well it can be even more interesting (I'm talking about how the protagonist perceives her own identity. It also can become to repetitive and therefore a bit boring. But for now, it's great)

You gotta love to see good people getting good things happening to them.
For now the show's rating is between 9/10 and 10/10 (I'd say 9.6825)

I liked the first half where they argued about what had happen but the ending was too melodramatic and everyone praising pride for being a decent human being. She's OP so not doing anything when she had the ability to is ridiculous. If she wasn't so strong and went, then it'd be reckless but at least understandable that people would see her as genuinely kind person. Helping others is one thing, it's helping others in spite of the risk that truly shows courage.

Not much really happened in this episode. I'm surprised how the ymanaged a 20 minute long conversation. It didn't feel that way but it did end up that way. Not sure if I should be impressed or disappointed.
