| I could do without Nikumi's meat sacks bouncing all over the place, but this was a good set up episode. It should be interesting to see how they pull off Soma's first Shokugeki in anime form. Plus, its good because its been so long since I've read this, that I can't remember all of the details! |

| Isshiki and his loincloth.....I'm not sure whether to approve his brave attire or look away trying to unsee what I've seen. X_X Nikumi's looks hot, yet dangerous, chopping off Konishi's hair just for calling her by her nickname. LOL at Megumi repairing his face though. XD Hopefully Soma can defeat Nikumi in the Shokugeki. It would be cruel on Konishi if Erina got her way once again. |
| Hilarious Satoshi wearing a pure white fundoshi! Megumi very skilled in different varieties of rice balls but Souma question stabbed her with why she can't cook like that while in class, and she said it because of stage fright. Megumi needs to improve her confidence and self-esteem. Pompadour Konishi has bandage on his hair making seemed like it was repaired from the brutal machete cut by Nikumi! That serious face of Souma! very scary!!! (scene when Nikumi is taunting Souma) Souma saying the word "English"... hmmm what was a correct accent! Souma trying different kinds of mean Don! Souma said "Sirloin" that is also the kind of meat that I use when I'm making my favorite dish "beef broccoli with oyster sauce" although not a Don...hahahahehehe I can't wait to see Souma topple the likes of Nikumi on their Shokugeki! End card: "natsu wagamama body da!" hilarious! 5/5. |

| Seems like the only people who like Nikumi are perverted guys, then again I'm not surprised. I think she's gorgeous and extremely hot but I'm afraid she'll just be the stereotypical hot-woman-on-the-side who's vying for Souma's attention while he's the dense motherfucker who doesn't even deserve her. What a waste of a good character if, after Souma defeats her (which is going to happen obviously), she'll just be this annoying character trying to smoosh him between her massive tits. The best characters that keep me watching are: Megumi, Erina, Isshiki, Ibusaki, Yoshino (almost all of the guys and girls at their dorm even the old woman) and the eventual appearance of cooler characters who I shall not name. |

You could do without these?  Blasphemy! But don't worry, Ikumi is actually a really interesting character, you will learn this the further we get in the story. Most of it will be shown after the next big arc. Personally I find her more interesting then the 2 main girls, mostly because of the depth her character holds. She has the makings to increase the quality of the story even more, and the mangaka can certainly use her potential for that. |

| Aw man, they grow their own vegetables and everything! :O That dorm seems like a pretty legit place to live. Looks like Megumi sure can cook, well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised ... too bad she can't perform in class XD Ah, so Souma wants to join the Don RS eh ... sure fits him well! Looks like Erina has her eye on this club too and she's sent Ikumi to do battle with them! I can't believe she actually just CUT OFF THE PRESIDENT'S HAIR LOL XD I pretty much knew about the meat rating system already, but seems like Souma's really putting in a lot of effort into preparing this don dish ... nothing they tried from the recipe books worked, but the reminder of the honey trick sure did the trick! Ah I can't wait for the Cooking Battle next episode! Obviously Ikumi's preparing too ... GO SOUMA GO!!!! ;D |

| i love this show so far and im glad that Souma's cooking does not give orgasms (the part where Souma's was making the "Don" and was preparing for the Battle of Meat) because that would make it seem like his cooking is always really good but im glad they did it this time. Ok, anyways just forget everything i said above and 10.1/10 :P |
| An amazing anime. It really is as good as the manga. This episode was really good. Ikumi is awesome. You got to love Yukihira though, how he fights for what he believes in, and isn't afraid at all. I guess in his case, ignorance is bliss, considering he doesn't know anything about this school and how it works :D. |

| Time for Souma to rock! Nikumi's fanservice is a bit... That's what I love about Souma. He talks big, but he practices just as hard. And he has the minds to go for it. He's awesome. Man, super-good episode. I am glad I watched it today so I won't have to wait for next episode. |

| The calm before the storm, though calm before, there was nothing. Good narrative construction, not the usual ready and go. Preparation and explanations, I love this part of the story, but also the construction of the context around the protagonists. Promoted the first part of the episode, we continue with the assembly of the characters, but it became too heavy and slow history, entering at the same time an element that gave dynamism to the narrative. I'm curious and I hope that the challenge is convincing and compelling, after all, one of the important points of the series is also the "shokugeki". Too much meat is bad for health = Too many parts with Ikumi hurt. Joking aside, the skin color of Nikumi I liked, and it reminded me of a really nice piece of meat succulent. |

| whaaay Isshiki have to be naked all the time?... is this anime half josei? I see much of this in Shokugeki no Souma I wouldn't say it is 100% Shounen for sure... maybe mix of Shounen/Josei. But then there is another sexy Niku (♥ω♥ ) Lol Megumi "You'll come up with something. - Maybe.
