| Didn’t plan on watching this but glad I’ve started it not my usual choice. Some funny moments and quite emotional with the blackboard scene. The visuals are nice good first episode overall I like how the narrator covers the mental health issues going on. |

| finally just started this and i must say, in just the first episode, they did a way better job in handling the girl who cant talk to people (and make 100 friends) gimmick way better than that Hitoribocci cringefest |
| After waiting so many years for this and we finally got an anime adaptation. I must say I am impressed by the first episode and the main characters are introduced in a great way. The whole direction of the episode felt pretty good and OLM is doing a fine job to adapt this. |

| Rewatching it a second time because italian dub has been added on Netflix (finally!) Subtitles are still the same bad or non existent ones, but at least voiceover compensates well enough and it's always a joy listening to these voices, from older to newer generations. Met Komi's dub actress in person about 5 years ago and could still recognize her voice even if it was only noises and verses. |

| this was a good first episode, the art and scenery is gorgeous. Found some parts a bit weird, mainly in the first half though. Also I wonder how long it took them to clean that board lmao That song they randomly put in there had me thinking I finished the episode, either way it was a good song. Only issue so far is that the lips are like ridiculously small |

| That was actually pretty damn genuine and sweet for me. Nice seeing a legit character driven story that was pretty touching. Definitely like the characters and enjoyed episode 1 a lot. Hope it stays more grounded with all the "eccentric" kids mentioned and it doesn't get over-the-top-textbook-dumb-anime-cliched, but we'll see. Komi reminds me of my own girlfriend so much, haha. She needs to watch this too :3 |

Not being able to talk is something I relate a lot as well, I used to go as a mime sometimes to university and I wouldn't talk at all those days. It's a blanket statement to think Tadano is blank. Watch more, but you can tell a self-insert from a character right from the get-go. He ain't it. |

| Lovely first episode. I like how they switch between pretty Komi and anxious Komi. I also liked the scene with the blackboard very much. Tadano didn't sound like I thought he would. It fits though, IMO. |

| I've seen GIFs for this anime and I've heard very good things but I've been holding it off for some time. Despite having a Netflix subscription, I almost never watch anime on there and for some reason I always feel weird about watching there? Probably just a weird habit of mine.. But anyway, I recently finished watching the anime "Aharen-san wa Hakarenai" and this came up as something with a similar vibe. I decided to finally give it a go and it immediately had me laughing within the first couple minutes! It did sort of drag on for me towards the end but it is only the first episode so I don't plan to drop it. So far I think it's pretty cute! :) |

| this first episode is such a masterpiece, great introduction to Tadano and Komi. Tadano is just an average guy trying to do his best, especially feeling regret for the weird things he did in middle school. He took initiative to help Komi, a girl with extreme social anxiety, make 99 more friends. Still felt some emotions rewatching this for the 3rd time with Tadano and Komi's conversation together on the board. Loved the bonus scene too |

| Right off the bat, the animation and the art style are just amazing. I love the SFX showing up with certain actions Komi-san does lol. Also, the pokemon style text messages and the pixel slideshows are also really cool. Netflix made good decisions with this one. As for the premise itself, it is pretty interesting. I think only "Aharen-san is indecipherable" is somewhat similar to this plot. And that too came out after "Komi-san can't communicate" so won't be counting that as an original. The shot of the classroom blackboard filled with Tadano and Komi's conversation was amazing. The opening slaps so damn hard!! Both the visuals and the song rock. The bonus scene lol |

| Good initial idea and premise. I had so high hopes I got two full seasons downloaded. Too bad that implementation ruins it. Just like with Angel Girl. First a premise: A girl who cannot communicate. Possibly a loner, like Tomoko and Hitori Bocchi, but cute and likable dating material. What could be better for a perfect male orientated romance anime. Unfortunately they fucked it up. They make Komi's inability to communicate as more of a gimmick and kind of make fun of them both. Also Komi all too often seemed like she looks down on everyone, including the male MC. Male MC is also dubious, instead of monopolizing her for himself for some nice intimate romance for just two of them. He instead decides to help her make friends, how ridiculous. That help Komi make friends is not what I want. I only watched couple of episodes before dropping so I am not sure if it gets better. However it does not look so. So far only SofiaBulga on these forums is shy enough for me. Why other girls are not like her? Why do you fail at shy? |

| I relate to Komi deeply on a personal level as I have bad social communication and sometimes also feel as if I physically cannot speak. I can't wait to see her journey and all the exciting friends she makes. |

| Wow, what a great first episode. I always forget how good OLM is if they are really trying, animation was awesome in this first episode. Music was also perfect and the comedy did get a few good laughs out of me. Very promising start. |
