| Facing the perfect replicas in the dungeon, they're part of Spiegel the Reflective Water Demon, which the dungeon has not been conquered to this day. And yet, this is exactly how Sense wants everyone to work together and fight the replicas off. Ubel and Land facing the former's replica, though the latter was caught off-guard and had th escape golem swiped out of him, it's exactly her thought mindset that is replicated into the replica. And Ubel giving him her escape golem to get back his from the replica, and also trying out Sorganeil to be the fastest finger first, she did have some unluck, but thanks to the real Land accompanying from behind, she prohibits her quick death. Once again, Frieren gets tempted by a grimoire to find a secret room, and indeed she finds a secret pathway to a realm of the king of the Unified Dynasty. Once Frieren, Fern and Sense meets up with Denken and the others, the discussion reaps on how to defeat the former's replica, which Methode is called to assess her mana power to find any weaknesses...though Fern easily gets jealous from behind. The 2nd-class Edel would be able to help, but she faces Sense's replica together with Biel and Dunste, which even at this point, not even Edel herself could defeat the replica, they'd have to rely on the escape golem to make their escape. With everyone at a standstill facing Spiegel's perfect replicas, Wirbel may have a way to win over it with brute force, but Fern...what does she has to contribute as an alternative? |

| The second cour has been very boring to me so far, we could've just skipped the whole mage exam and we'd have missed nothing. I just want to go back to our core group experiencing life, I just don't care about any of these side characters. |
| There are a couple of things I don't fully understand... Why was Denken party the one to face the Frieren copy, and not Frieren herself? And why is there a copy of Sense if she isn't taking part on the exam? Maybe there are copies of everyone inside the dungeon, I could understand that, but did Sense really had no idea of that? Because having to face her is so fkng unfair lmao (considering Frieren wasn't taking the exam). |

| The final boss, clone Frieren showed them all that this one is the one clone you should not fuck around with! Sure Dreken and the others could attempt to fight it, but what other result will there be besides casualties? And we haven't even seen a fragment of Frieren's full power. Since the clones are an exact replica of their counterparts' skills, habits and power, they have a huge battle ahead of them! All they gotta do is wait until the original Frieren comes to their rescue, lol. Their success is at the mercy of Frieren's whim. AH yes, satisfaction, Frieren might be very casual when she said that she has resistance to hypnosis and binding spells, but to hear that and to see it be proven to be true by Methode really just shows how untouchable she seems to be a normal wannabe mages. She's a supreme mage of the highest calibre and for that very reason, you'd need a mage who's familiar with Frieren's powers and habits with an absurd level of competence and potential to even have a chance of taking down Frieren's clone... And what do you know... We have her, it's Fern. Übel is so deadset on copying Land's magic to the point where she starts to understand what he'd do and trusts him for that. As they say, telling your name to another is the fist step to getting to know people better, sooner or later, we might have Übel and Land becoming a duo adventurer party in the future lol. (SHE DOESN'T NEED TO BE FIXED, SHE'S PERFECT) |

| It's too bad that Edel couldn't get past the Sense clone. I hope she'll be alright after being impaled like that. Can Fern really beat the Frieren clone? This should be very interesting to see. |

Amazing storytelling and nice stakes even if the characters are not likely to die during this course (though plenty died on the first one so there's that)
| @Oscarina0fTime I'll be honest, this actually works great to Frieren's thematic advantage. You have some minor deaths, but you maintain the central character for the narrative alive to fulfill their storytelling purpose. |

| @LuisSV23 I don’t think we were able to see her weakness per se (only Fern and the older guy saw it), but I think it had to do with her mana(?). Frieren has trained Fern into becoming an exceptional mage, thus she may have found her weakness in the process. Anyway, dope episode to say the least. ^^ |

| More destructive spells floating around. Lovely. But having Sense's clone there as an enemy is a bit too much, in my humble opinion. I know that there's a demon pulling the strings, but come on! It's just not fair to have her as an opponent during a mere exam, even if it's a prestigious one. On a side note, enter Übel, the armpits goddess:  Methode also looks good, and she also has really unique powers. |
