| I am disappointed in the last part mostly last 3 episodes. The first part of anime was great. There are too many references to Naruto, like Ghislaine like Kakashi, Headbands with the same pattern, Baldy with third eye not only naruto but more to Tien Shinhan from Dragoonball. Rudeus stopped evolving in every way, not in magic, not in sword, not in brains... We will probably not know why that big thing showed up and blew out the city... And two seasons in one year? How big is LN/manga? They want to make another long few hundreds episodes anime? Also way too little ecchi or no at all... no OP and also ED is weak. 8/10 and that is elevated only because the story in 2/3 of season was great. |

There might be references but is that inherently a bad thing? The thing with Ruijerd makes sense though he has to hide his appearance, since the Superd reputation is terrible with everyone on that world. Also this is a 23 episode season, it's just split up into 11 and then 12 episodes due to Covid, next season will likely be the whole thing, it's not entirely uncommon for this to happen in Anime anyway. OP is integrated with each episode(So i would never advise skipping it) though they do cut OP and ED if they need to fill the episode with important details, it will also change as they get to new locations. |

Also Eris has stopped being annoying during their journey, I know she said she wanted to be an adventurer but she's still nicely adapting to this lifestyle which is impressive considering she's a spoiled princess. Gonna start watching 2nd part very soon 8 |

OP has to be that climatic intro that at first is not always great, but as you watch more episodes it becomes your favorite song and you always will remember the anime because of it. and what does covid has to do with splitting the story of anime? they started first season at the peak of one wave and finished after it was over. |

| Well, liked this anime, I dont know why its so high rating, its just a classic isekai fantasy story, following the MC growing up and then at the end everything start to change and spicing up ! Im gonna continue with the part 2 who just ended too ^^ |
| Personally I enjoyed this show. At times it was uncomfortable to watch some of the scenes but I don’t mind be made uncomfortable. I don’t watch things just to be happy or have things fit my way of thinking. This demon arc was good the animation in the last few fights were great especially the final snake fight. I enjoyed this season overall and will be starting the 2nd today. Torn between 7or 8 out of 10. |
| The thing about a redemption story is that the person being redeemed has to be sympathetic. And Rudy here is rather hard to sympathize with due to his frequent lapses into extreme perversion. The action animation is good however and the overall message is positive, so I think I'll keep watching for a bit to see if he ever gets any better. |
| Oh man what a great fucking episode. 6/5. Those starting scenes were intense, you could feel the despair Rudeus was feeling when that kid got killed. That fight scene when they were trying to kill the red anaconda was really good, all three of them are OP af but man our Ruijerd, he stopped that massive fucking thing with his one hand, calling him OP would be an understatement at this point. Ah that was satisfying, when that horse face got what he deserved. That conversation between Rudeus and Ruijerd was both wholesome and IDK how to describe it, earnest? honest? anyway I liked that conversation. Eris joined in later too xD. They have become a solid party now. Ruijerd going bald was well unexpected, he still looks hot even without hairs xD. I mean he's a total chad after all. Those final scenes with ED playing were really really good, we saw them travelling on dragon thingy, Ruijerd and Eris sword practicing and haha that one scene were Eris is bathing herself and as expected Rudeus is trying to get a peek and then Ruijerd just picks him and takes him away lmao, what a scene. Seems like they are earning enough now, they went to shopping as well, that dressing scene was really fun as well and of course Rudeus does something while Eris is changing, haha our pervert MC never changes. Ruijerd was looking at them as though he were their father :D They have finally reached a human city? And we even see Roxy and some other people travelling to the same city on a ship. Rudeus and his waifu are finally going to meet again! Looking forward to that, I want to at least see them hug each other. This was a really great season. The emptiness is palpable even though I'm binging this, I can feel how anime-onlies might have felt after watching this episode and then waiting months for second part. This was AOTY for many people for a reason and I understood that why today. Haha I'm lucky I got to watch this first part in one sitting. Will strt second part tomorrow, it's already late here, I'm gonna have a hard time getting up early tomorrow in the morning. Gonna rate this the 9/10 that it deserves. |

| Pretty disappointing. This anime was heralded to be the best isekai out thereby some people. What I got was an average isekai anime with some creepy borderline pedo shit. This anime did nothing to stand out from the sea of mediocrity that is isekai. |
| Not a fan of the fanservice for the underage fan service and serialization for this series. The main character has these perverted thoughts which were unsettling and pointless at times. Ghislaine is already tossed out the window, when shes the only thing I liked about this series... Overall a 3/10, would've been a 2/10 if it weren't for Ghislaine. It just follows another generic Isekai, nothing special. |

| So there was a lot of discrepancy between the rating and the reviews. I would understand the hate if the show is being judged based on modern morals but at that time people really used to marry at 12 years so sexual attraction is not really that uncommon,still it is despicable to see a 30 years old drooling over some kids and how everything nowadays is overly sexualized because "that's the only way this will sell" . Now for other aspects the MC doesn't behave one bit like a traumatized 30's old person who suffered from bullying and never had a decent relationship or any achievements in his "old life" but it seemed like he can pretty much handle himself and integrate into society. He overcame his trauma and mental problems way too fast and way unrealistic without being properly handled,at least show that he reflected on himself during his early years as an infant not just speaking like an adult at the age of 4. All in all the concept is interesting and the MC isn't a cry baby for once lol but meh hoping for something completely decent became somewhat rare.. |

| So we're getting a look at what their commissions look like, Eris doing cute things if she's not best girl then that means Ro- What was Rudy thinking that they're not fast well judging from the size it looked like they're sluggish but look at Gabrin flying rip he's meant to fly but with the whole body still intact at least, I see Eris getting stronger as well and Rudy but I think his potential has a lot more to achieve Well not that really exciting but a good closer to the first cour and I see that Roxy will be a lot more relevant in the second one I hope time to see her at her prime. I didn't expect I'll get hooked on this series as I thought I would and the quality and consistency shows not always but it's a pleasure to witness fairly enjoyable no sleeper moments that I experience throughout the show I'm excited to watch the second cour of this season. |

| Another good episode. Seems that I will watch the next part, I had very low expectations for this series, but after these last two episodes, I genuinely want to see what happens next now. This episode was perfect by no means, but it did make me somewhat feel something for these characters. This episode does a lot of things right, it introduces stakes to this anime, it had pretty solid world building and really nailed in how much people hate the superd. It might just be my own bias though, because I massively enjoy adventure stories like this way more. |

| as for the episode, humans in this world are insanelly resistant, Eris is just a child an tanked a huge monsters blow like it was nothing, like what? Rudeus plan was so dumb, those things were really fast, it was bound to end poorly as for the series, man was it inconsistent, first 3 episodes an the last 3 episodes were really good an it leaves you wanting for more but the other episodes were either average or drop worthy trash carried by really high production values id say its a 6/10 |

| We got an absolute amazing episode to end on. Binged the 11 episodes in 2 days, so that should tell enough my opinion about the show. I can definitely agree that there were quite some scenes which could have made you feel uncomfortable. Besides that we got great world building, gorgeous animation + visuals, beautiful OST's and at least for me very likeable characters. You can tell Rudy's character keeps developing towards the better, since he found responsibilities in not only bringing Eris back home, but also helping Ruijerd to restore the reputation of the Superd's. If you compare the first introduction of Eris with her current self it's like night and day. I just hope Ghislaine is doing fine, because I'm really interested to see what actually happened to her. Easily one of the best Isekai's I've seen so far. So I'm definitely excited for the next part and anything eventually following after that. |

| This season certainly did not end on a high note. Was not a bad last episode, but definitely not one of the best ones either. First four episodes were really great, then Rudeus moved to Eris, but at least we gained Ghislaine. In the end she had to go as well though and we are now on the demon continent. It definitely got gradually worse, even if not by much, hope that won't continue in season 2. 8/10 |

| Of all the stories to find flaws in. Weren't those kids also F ranked? If Rudy and the gang hand yet to reach C rank by now after trading missions, how exactly was the kids' group able to rise in rank enough to pick up a mission clearly out of their league within the same amount of time? There shouldn't have been a need to trade any more if the gang hand been rising in rank at the same speed. I read the manga first, but to think I only noticed it now. I wish more thought was given here. At least don't call them a newly formed party looking for new members. That way, they wouldn't seem so out of place here. In the end, it makes more sense for a guild to have an aptitude test. I know someone has to do the grunt work, but it's not like everyone has the skills to start at rank C. Speaking of, they just skimmed over explaining how their guild cards were made and what information was on them. From Rudy's perspective, I can see how he'd be too distracted to think about it. Comparing with the manga, I've also noticed that they skipped over a lot more that I wish they covered. I like the pacing; however, I feel hesitant to say the adaptation does the series justice. The story still comes across, but anime only viewer miss out on some of the scenes that happened in between. |

| Good last episode. Pretty intriguing how the show turned considerably darker once the group enters the demon realm. The open ending isn't the best, but there's season two for that. I'm a bit conflicted. Didn't enjoy this series as much as I hoped, especially for something lauded as the pioneer of modern isekai. But on the other hand, the narrative is solid and does a fine job in fleshing out the characters and setting. So while I unfortunately couldn't enjoy this show much, I can definitely see the framework of something better here. Hoping the next season builds upon the strong final episodes of this one. 6/10 |

| I haven't been this invested in an escapist fantasy/isekai story in a VERY long time. I enjoy watching SAO for its escapist qualities but it's still.. y'know SAO. I'm not saying Mushoku Tensei is without issues (like the main character being an absolute sleez and the pedophilic fantasies that he has), but I really enjoy the patient writing and worldbuilding in the show, the gorgeous animation, the large cast of likeable characters and just the journey the show takes us on. Great stuff and I'm definitely going to watch the rest. |
