| Magnificent episode capable of making a person speechless. I had high expectations for it and not only they were all met, but also this episode itself has managed to even exceed them. |

| Hange was given the greatest send off of all time. Probably my favourite anime death of all time, the emotions, OST, animation and the sheer badass she was when she went out. Incredible episodes, can’t wait for the last episode in Fall. Attack on Titan is ending this year boys. 9/10 episode, was on the edge of my seat the whole time. |

| Easily MAPPA's best episode(s) adaptation. It also rivals some of WiT's best work as well. Hange's death scene was expanded and made far better in the anime. I felt it was very short and sweet in the manga and didn't hit as hard as it should have. However, everything was on point here and gave her the send-off she deserved. The first 10-15 minutes legitimately have some of the most haunting imagery I've seen in an anime. The sheer terror of the rumbling with ravaged towns and cities, Ramzi and Halil's excruciating deaths, people running for their lives and the juxtaposition of Eren's "freedom" speech was beautifully choreographed. |
| Damn, Mappa did a really great job with this hour long episode. Sure, they like to overuse the word "final" but they did a hell of a job adapting these last few chapters. It's nice to see Mikasa and crew again after what feels like years. Also, rip to Hange. Went out like a champ. All in all, loved this special (hour long episode) and I'm pretty hyped up for this last episode. Sure we have to wait like, two seasons worth of anime before it comes out, but hyped for it nonetheless. |

| Absolutely kino special all around. Certainly a decent amount of moments that hit hard with the cast of characters thats left, and the action and soundtrack was hype as expected. Can't wait for the final final final half. |

| Definitely a consistent episode and really felt like a movie for the treatment, it was sad seeing Hange's sacrifice but the last part of the episode was full hype with the (bad) idea of bombing the rumbling and all the other ones arriving where Eren is, I can't wait for the next episode but autumn is a long wait after that |

| That was brutal and beautiful. The transitions of stomping of the people and towns to Eren's childhood flashback and view in the clouds are terrifying and liberating. ＼(º □ º l|l)/ Eren crying and Ramzi getting crushed OMG! what a powerful scene. Hange's last fight in odm gear is the best odm gear action Mappa can offer right now, I'm hoping the last part in Fall 2023, they kept this kind of Sakuga. Hange with Erwin and the others is just so good to see. (ಥ﹏ಥ) I'm glad they they took their time. They elevated their animation and the compositing and character models are consistently better. Looking forward to the last part in Fall 2023. |

| First 10 mins were done beautifully. The Rumbling was presented as horrifying as it should be. They added some really good scenes for it. I do think it had bad pacing though. Felt like they ran through one of AoT's best chapters. Most of what covered chapter 131 felt much more impactful in the manga, especially the FREEDOM scene and the "I was disappointed" scene, which is a shame. After a brutal and harrowing display of this global genocide, we are greeted by Annie and Armin with their forced romance. That was so tone-deaf. Pure cringe They keep treating Annie as if she's some poor victim LMFAO. Mikasa says "You don't have to suffer anymore". Connie says "She fought well". Armin says "Annie should just keep on being herself" yeah bro if she keeps being herself prepare to get fucking yo-yo'd. They all absolutely ignore what she did in previous seasons. Incredibly frustrating RIP KING FLOCH, YOU SPOKE NOTHING BUT ABSOLUTE FACTS. 👑👑👑 Gonna be honest, Hange's death was done really well, and it actually felt like she did something impactful while killing those Titans unlike in the manga. The airplane dialogue was solid, Reiner keeps confirming that he's one of the best characters in the story. And he's right. Nobody sane could handle doing what Eren has to do. Loved those scenes on Fort Salta, truly hits that humanity is doomed, that commander said everything that has been echoed for forever. Now it's finally time for peak comedy, can't wait for Fall. Shit's gonna hit the fan(s). |

| To sum up this episode one word can be used which is, "Awesome" The quality of this episode was the best in the entire history of this anime and that there were CGI scenes which turned out quite well, I liked that they animated the scene that Wit Studio did not animate at the time and that they used it for this episode For me, a reader of the manga was quite well adapted but, the death of Floch and Hange I did not feel as much, as I felt with the manga but they were good In this chapter, Eren seemed to me to be a protagonist in decline, I'm sorry for saying that, it even hurts me to say it, but from now on, Eren's great personality that we loved (and my taste too much) will go into decline, but it is what it is Without a doubt, I will wait patiently for the last episode to be animated, even if I don't like that ending, I will go to the end enjoying this beautiful anime. As I always say, great job by Mappa |

| Wasnt that excited I guess , Im used to episodic release and get hyped on every single episode. And I'm not a fan of Eren wanting to kill everyone except Eldians , for the first time I feel turned off a bit , maybe because I'm getting affected by the negativity of Manga readers? |

| And here we see the final moments of Attack On Titan being even remotely good. This started out great but just kept getting progressively worse. As was to be expected. Also the Beast Titan still looks like dog shit lmao |
| i had to go back and watch a recap before this ep, but when i finally got to it it was amazing. hanges final scene was so much more emotional in the anime, crazy seeing it animated. kinda annoyed that we didnt get an opening? and an hour special is so random , why not just release the rest of it all together instead of making us wait even longer.. all in all im excited to see the official ending whenever that happens, finally seeing that last battle..not really ready to say goodbye to aot |
| The production of this special episode was extremely well done, I found myself in absolute awe at the scope of The Rumbling which was executed extremely well and really set the tone. It makes much more sense why they're splitting this part in two. Well done MAPPA |

| One thing I can say is objectively speaking this was the best episode of the show in terms of production. Seeing the show like after Part 1 being a little disappointing on that department is genuinely so good. Only things in my head I can say it could have been better were romance dialogue between Armin and Annie and maybe the song choices of Hange's death scene and the plane arriving at the rumbling (emphasizing that "could have been better" doesn't mean it was bad) Still surprised hearing people saying Eren is "completely on the right". Specially when even Eren says himself he's wrong. There's a difference between understanding what and why he's doing and agreeing As from what I'm feeling? Just like every time Attack on Titan is back, my depression goes away and it once again reaffirms how this series is above any other anime by a long shot. |

| i didnt do any research so i was expecting a normal 25 minute episode, you can imagine my surprise to find a 1 hour special an then you can imagine my dissapointment when i found out we wont be getting episode 2 for several months |

| Surprisingly enjoyed it more than I expected. Nice to finally hear some Sawano tracks in the "final" season. Thank god, I don't have to listen to that Kohta track Mappa blasted on repeat. Wit 100% handled sounds and music better though. Hanji's final moments were actually really damn good, some nice 3dmg sakuga after all this time. And Hanji talking with the fallen scouts, colors and ost selection were absolutely perfect. Honestly, if music was just Sawano and Linked Horizon for the final season, I'd have 0 complaints. (Aside from the dopey faces in some stills lol) There were no benefits to switching. |
