| After the intensity of last episode, it’s only natural that it would continue with fill force into the next episode lol. Denji versus the katana man was cool, wish we coulda saw them fight more but Denji tried playing dirty using a hostage, not thinking that these guys might not be friends and got himself chopped in half lol. And I was thinking they’d hide Makima being alive a bit longer but nah she just got up and walked away covered in ketchup lol, and we also witnessed whatever insane power she possesses, those guys were damn lucky getting smashed by Makima tho lol. And man those ass shots of Makima were scrumptious, I only heard of her ass in legend but it is indeed nice. While all of that was wild, Kobeni showing up and saving Denji using pure skill and a gun was really cool lol, I was already a fan of her from her introduction but this makes her even better, it’s possible it was with assistance from a Devil but it was still badass. And honestly Madoka is the smartest person in the show quitting after that lol, the man had seen enough. The ED this time was great once again, especially the visuals. I’m a fan of Aimer but imo there’s been better EDs this season and the visuals with the intestines was very metal. |

| I liked the anime original scenes. The prisoners being transported there was a great addition. It humanizes them. I wish they had improved the "Makima standing menacingly" scene too. Like instead of the screen just going black, maybe the train passes under a long bridge and everything goes dark. Anyway, we got to see Makima's power. The shrine scene is one of my favourite scenes from early Chainsaw Man so glad to see it adapted. Gives me hope that they will adapt the other scenes with the same horror-esque and uneasy tone. |

Depends on the relationship between the devil and the human too. Denji got a sweet deal from Pochita. Also, considering that she has to sacrifice a finger-nail, she can only use it 10 times. She has to wait for her nails to grow again which can take weeks or months. |

| Not surprised that Makima isn't dead. I'd be surprised in Denji is dead as well lol. Pretty nice episode again which also gave me some mysterious vibes off Makima. Her demon/devil powers are pretty neat, I wonder what devil she made a contract with. |

| Um. Wow. Makima now seems scary as hell xD And also I'm a bit miffed that the girl with the knife survived..but she seemed so capable against the two agents trying to kidnap Denji. About the only thing that bothered me about this ambush is if the agents were all individually identified and followed- you'd think they have information on almost everyone's abilities except Makina of course. But they seemed a bit surprised and under estimated several times their opponents which got them either injured or killed. I'm kinda curious if these agents were part of the Japanese government or not- for Makina to know all their names or at least some of them it seems that might be the case. A lot of questions remain but the lore is super interesting. |
| All that nice buildup surrounding Makima's power for her to just kill the fodder enemies and not the important ones. UNLESS that was her intention from the start... *mhmmm intensifies* Honestly, I was more excited for the glorious Aimer ED than for the episode itself lol. Still a decent episode, not gonna lie. Kobeni surviving and becoming op is pure bullshit tho. Also, why do I feel that Himeno got scammed with her devil contract? Like, she has to offer limbs but the other girl just fingernails? What...? And yay, more Makima ass-shots... |
| Another great ep. As expected I didn't think Makima would die, but damn her ability looks OP!!! It seems like she can kill someone remotely if she knows their name and sacrifices another human? Something along those lines? That random little girl seemed less strong this ep. Kobeni had a good showing!! |

| What an absolute splatter fest. Everything about it was bloody brilliant. No pun intended. Makima sure knows how to surprise us with her cunning powers. Force manipulation is no joke. Using the convicts as human sacrifices to project an invisible force to crush her named targets. Her force manipulation is long range and covers a lot of distance. It is absolutely lethal. So many of Sawatori's goons were killed off in a domino effect. One bloody explosion after another. Such a beautiful sight to behold. Kobeni snapped at the end after witnessing her colleague get shot by a gun devil advocate. The feeling of adrenaline rushes in her as she jumps over Sawatori's snake devil and went to chop off the Katana devil's arm. Thus, successfully retrieving Denji's body. But not with out having a breakdown. 10/10 episode. Mappa pulled out another banger. |

| another awesome episode!! seriously, as much as i hate makima, i have to admit how cool and useful her power is... and kobeni was soo good in this ep ?!?! and the ending was great too, yet another banger from aimer. |

| Makima's version of Death Note power was lol...she borrow Ryuk's power? Only work on human? o. o The way everything is one side massacre after Makima is showing a bit of her ability...kinda make me re-think who's actually evil. Too many hidden secret for a shounen anime protagonist chara. From my speculation, it could be that the snake and katana devil users are supposed to be the good guys who are trying to sabotage the devil hunter group. Or they working under Makima herself. idk. Maybe there is a secret in the organization that normal devil hunters wouldn't know of since it kept hidden. Like the glasses dude said, everything is way too planned to keep certain members/division under her control? Now there are 3 fractions? Devils, Devil hunters, and a group that hunt/sabotage devil hunter organization plan. |

| What a cruel way to start the episode with seeing Himeno's final moments once again from a different perspective. While she's sadly gone, the ghost hand came in clutch by firing up Denji before it disappeared for good. This would lead to a rather tense fight for Denji against Katana Man and, sadly, he lost by being severed in half when he held one guy hostage. At this point, we get to see Makima on the bullet train, alive, and she easily disposed of her "killers" easily. After that, she rounded up a dozen criminals, took them to the highest shrine in Kyoto and performed her powers which turned the tide of the battle back in Tokyo and it was very bloody and brutal with how she did it. Not only did we get to see a part of what Makima's able to do, Kobeni also arrived on the scene. Arai is sadly dead and he was able to save Kobeni by taking a bullet for her, before she swiftly killed the old lady with the gun for her actions. Her moment was also the best animated part of the episode as she easily climbed on the snake summoned by the female devil hunter and she put Katana Man in his place by blasting him in the torso with the gun she multiple times before the duo made their retreat. He was sad to see her having near panic attack afterwards, apologising to Denji for trying to kill him a few episodes ago. Continuing from TK's nice ED song from last week, we finally get to hear Aimer's ED song and it's as great as I was hoping it would be, conveying the sadness and gruesomeness of the Makima-focused animation for the ED. I'm very impressed! =) |
| Been waiting for exactly this since I read the manga somewhiles back. The exact moment when Makima's mysterious and awesome power comes into view, making it clear why she stands at the top of the ladder. It's only going to get better from here. |
