| NOOOO THEY CENSORED THE BARF!!!! WEAKASS But they make up for it with yet again another absolutely beautiful ED, this time with an '80's synthwave style- JUST BECAUSE. And we get the barf scene also beautifully reimagined with rainbow-ified puke. Immaculate. This episode also made me appreciate Denji as our protagonist, as your typical shounen protagonist is a straight-laced, good-natured, kind-hearted fellow. In this case however, we have someone bat-sh*t insane, with more than just a couple screws loose. |

| Loved it! Great seeing Denji back in action, no doubt, but amazingly enough, it was the rest of the episode that I loved even more. Seeing all of these characters doing such a normal thing as going out for food and drinks, getting drunk, plus all the craziness that comes with a night out like that... so awesome. I liked Himeno from the start, but after this ep even more so. For whatever reason, they seem to have gone to greater lengths to humanize her and she's rapidly surpassing Power as my favorite character. Can't wait to see the aftermath and consequences of the party and subsequent sleepover next ep! |

| Yeah I feared as much, they pretty much butchered the quintessential chainsaw man moment. The episode overall was fine, but the sheer lunacy of Denji as Chainsawman was so well done in the manga they just cant get close. Animation looks like the indie stuff I get recommended on youtube at 2am, actually worse. Uncanny valley, too much movement/overanimation, stiff and liveless CGI models at the same time.. The manga feels so alive because Fujimotos style is simplistic but just works, this is the opposite, it feels alien. The ED animations are better than the actual episodes. So far the SoL parts are actually the strongest ones. PS: Praise Himeno, drunk girls are the best. You just have to learn to evade the puke. |

| Been waiting for this episode and yet again I think they did a great job with it. All the gore with that fight in the first half was really something. The bar scene was also done well, especially with that kiss part. Can't help but feel sorry for him. Left us right when it was about to go somewhere. |

| Well...this was rather weird lol. Denji finally beat that devil after 3 days, man literally went without sleep, amazing. Himeno's past of how she lost her teammates and visits the graveyard each month to put down flowers. Himeno & Aki wants to know the truth behind Denji and they wanna know why Makima is staying in Tokyo, Makima is going to Kyoto next week for a work trip. They all went drinking and eating, it was all fun but when Himeno started kissing Denji in front of everyone, they all went quiet, and yeah after that there's no explanation needed because yeah. Anyhow Himeno takes Denji to her home and they're ready to do the thing i guess? Well nice animation of Himeno though. And that's that. |

| The anime seems to pushing the pedophile angle too hard. The fact that the other characters saw nothing wrong with that kiss is questionable. |

| Poor Denji, got a barf kiss. I really felt for him, his kiss sucked, and it was in front of Maki. Maki seemed more concerned about getting the barf cleaned up though. Nice to see the other dude helping Denji, throw that up. All the nice food eat ate, just went to waste. Also the Ed as always nicely stylized. |
| What a massive disapointment for the conclusion of this short arc. I finally thought there were some stakes given how episode 6 trapped the whole squad in the building for several days and not having a clue how to deal with this demon. And all they had to do was let Denji run rampant on it until he would just outsustain it by feeding himself on the demon's blood. My biggest gripe is how unnecesary Himeno's flashback elongates an already secure fight of Denji vs this sloth demon. Nothing out of the flashback added anything we didn't know already about the Demon Hunters being just cannon fodder and somehow she feels survivor's remorse, not to mention again another flashback with Aki which we already know she's in love with. Just for the record, it's about stealing Denji's protagonism in the particular moment and adding absolutely nothing. The whole celebration party and after party are okay in terms of new characters being introduced. Power still grinds my gears and it makes me question how the heck did she find out how do breast pads work and how did she get them back in episode 5 if she's really that stupid and ignorant about what normal people interact on daily basis. Kobeni is another can of worms but at least I can wait for her turn under the spotlight to explain her child-like behaviour and clothe choice. Aside from the very nice looking cinematography, I'm still waiting for the second coming of christ the fanbase promised once Chainsaw man would go live in this Fall 2022 season. |

| I loved the entire izakaya bit. Super fun to see all these characters we know (and some we don't) interacting like so. The ending is pretty fucking yikes though. |

| I would say that this is yet another good episode. I guess the comic relief in this episode elevates it and makes it very easy to watch. Poor Denji, even when his dream is coming true, it gets messed up somewhere. I am now curious about what makes Denji so special, but I'm also invested in the different interactions between the different characters, especially Himeno, Makima, Denji, and Aki. |

| Having read the manga, I already knew about the puke scene but ewww.... it was still nasty LMAO. Also, I don't remember the tension being as high it was between Himeno and Denji when I read it originally 0.0 |

| How the hell can they end every episode on the perfect spot for a cliffhanger. EVERY SINGLE TIME! Again, amazing episode. Animated everything just how I would have liked to see. The ed in this episode is my favorite. |

The guy who trained Himeno. He is going to be a very important character later on in the story. |
