Western culture should leave well alone so we can continue to enjoy awesome stories, fantastic characters, and not have western corporations try to push there far left ideological agenda onto the last bastion of art and story telling we have available to us. And the problem with Disney is they a mega corp which have already ruined the Marvel universe story telling and wiped out seveal decades of story telling, so I wouldnt put it past them to stick there poisonous political agenda into anything they touch. |

| Really annoys me how it seems like the shinigami just suddenly forgot to use kido spells as an alternative to shikai and bankai. It's especially annoying in the case of Byakuya, who was shown to be extremely proficient when it came to kido in the original series. Ironically the anime cut out a couple panels from the manga that showed one of the research team guys using kido, because I guess kido was retconned out of this series for some reason...? Lol. |

I mean most captains never really used Kido in their fights and if they did it was only low level as support for their shikai/bankai. They probably realized low level Kido would be useless against the Sternritters who had Blut and could absorb reishi The only characters we saw in the series who could use powerful Kido ( above 90) in the series were Aizen, Urahara, Yamaji, Tessai and Hachigan. The most Byakuya used was 80 I think , would have been probably useless against As Nodt But yeah i agree would have been cool to see some Kido spells used during this arc |

Not to mention he got defeated so quickly too by his own bankai, even shikai Ichigo back then could last longer against it. Oh well, Chad Kenpachi vs Virgin Byakuya i thought the same but this fear power from this quincy is supposed to be broken af, its a boring ability though also considering how many fights this arc has, most of them are gonna be short |
