| I've probably blocked some people on MAL before for aggressively shitting on my favorites, but they're probably unaware of it. I would never engage with someone who's obviously trying to stir shit up and if I block them I don't have to get triggered every time I see them do their thing. It just works. |

| You have to realize that their opinions are theirs alone. It shouldn't change the fact that you like an anime no matter how many times they justify it being shit. Because in the end anime is subjective. And subjectivity is based on multiple factors. Be it your personality, upbringing, Environment, Culture, ethics, philosophy, etc. That's why we all experience art differently. And that's the beauty of it. If we all view art the same way, then there won't be such a thing as individuality. Because art is a medium in which one can freely share their thoughts, Ideas, and emotions. And those ideas are then conveyed to the viewer. The viewer will then interpret such art and incorporate it using their own understanding and thus create a new perspective. This allows us to express ourselves with the medium and thus create new ideas in the process. In the end, nobody can really dictate how you view a certain anime. It's all psychological. You allow what gets to you and what doesn't, the human brain is amazing like that. |

| Depends on how they talk about it. If they just don't like it, I actually enjoy talking about what they do and don't like about it. But if they're just doing the whole spiel of "it's shit, I won't say why cause it should be obvious, and YOUR shit for liking it", then I just ignore them, I don't require other people's feelings to like things. |
