| This episode was intense! Seeing Haine right after Shinpei is out of options and finding out he was once more at his final loop was brutal. She really has a fixation on usurping the lives of little kids! I'm glad ushio's necklace seemed to ward her off for whatever reason. The kicker this episode was Haine using shadow-shinpei's mind to manipulate our heroes. But there's one thing our shinpei has that shadow shinpei doesnt, and that's Hizuru! I hope Ryunosuke's full power can take shide out for good! |

| Well the title of next episode gives me hope. It's so irritating that all animes I'm watching today end on such irritating cliffhangers AAAAAAAAA I want to see the ultimate Ryoounosuke vs Shide fight. But assuming Ryounoosuke wins the fight in next episode, that doesn't explain why shadow Shinpie was calling real Shinpie through Nagumo sensei's phone. Welp whatever, we'll find it in next episode. And what was up with that sea shell? Was it Ushio??????????????? Are there are 2 Shides? I don't uderstand, there was a Shide with Mio at Alan's garden and at the same time one with Nagumo at the island. What's happening? LOL'd at Nagumo's "death flag" comment. Whatever fight we got this episode, it was pretty good unlike the night fight we got a few episodes back, that was lame. It was surprising to know Ryunoosuke never really got to talk with his onee-chan all these years, his happiness was clearly visible. Overall, a banger episode. 5/5. |

| Another fantastic episode! It ended so fast. Early on I though Shinpei was done for until he reached into his pocket and held Ushio's necklace and for some miraculous reason it made Haine retreat! 2nd time I thought someone was done for in this episode was when Hizuru/Ryuunosuke fought Shide and then Shide regenerated! Not sure how he withstood those hits with the sledgehammer, damn! I don't know how Hizuru will get out of this predicament but the Evangelion-ish title for the next episode gives me hope! It was great that the arguably best girl of this series (can't ignore Ushio) got some great screen time. |
| Hizuru/Ryuunosuke absolutely stole this episode, there were a lot of nice up close expressions and getting to see her fight is always a treat, it was absolutely excellent here, it’s also nice to see someone besides Shinpei doing the heaviest lifting, she was super badass here holding her own against Shide/Karikiri, I wish that big sledgehammer combo did something but of course Karikiri was able to come right back from it, it was epic regardless. And we got some more explanation on why Ryuunosuke became part of Hizuru, as well as a big moment at the end of the episode where Ryuunosuke and Hizuru were able to be conscious at the same time, it was pretty funny when Ryuunosuke started killing the tension by being happy he could talk directly to his sister lol, a wholesome moment but now it’s do or die time. This was definitely one of my favorite episodes so far, totally not because I’m a Hizuru simp lol. |
| I’m so upset with this. No, not because this series is bad or anything. Far from it, it’s the best thing airing rn. I’m just upset with how things played out for the main duo. I just wanted Haine and the 4-armed shadow dead at the hands of the duo. Poor Ushio won’t be there for it if/when it happens π Most upsetting thing is that we’re gonna have to wait till the end of the week for another ep… |
| After Shide gone, the story can be back on track again, I hope. It is such an overpowered creature, it's irritating. The phone thing trap was a little too convenient for the shadows as well as Ushio's dead last episode. When all hope is gone, there is still Shadow Mio haha Hizuru don't die. I guess she should be able to beat Shide if nothing else. |

| This episode goes against the usual pattern, 1 positive episode followed by 1 negative. So either the next episode is even more feels or things will get "good" for a while. Ushio gotta comeback, not sure how but she has to comeback, and about Ryunosuke...there's a chance that this might be their last fight. |

| It's no stretch that power levels indeed aren't the very best this series has to offer, because Hizuru beating the heck out of Shide seems a bit too much even if we take her being controlled by the shadow of Ryuunosuke a thing into consideration. Though those scenes were neatly animated, no second thoughts there. |

| Am I the only one forcing myself to see some Bloodborne references? "A sea creature on the shore" (Heine ~ Kos) and especially that "narrow low-tide path to an island" (final chapter on north-eastern island ~ final location Fishing Hamlet) just hit me real hard |

| Now everything they've planned has gone astray. Also, I feel like the start of that fight at the end should've been more intense. Maybe it was the animation, but parts of it just seemed a bit off. |

| that comedic scene btween Hizuru & her brother in the middle of a fight was so stupid and out of place... like they're in a life or death situation so can't it just take itself seriously? there's no need for cringey scenes like these, what the hell... about there being two shides, there's probably not even only two, he must have several clones/twins probs since birth |

| So it looks like Ushio is really dead T.T and Shinpei has been copied by Haine who is trapping everyone with the shadow, now we have Ryuunosuke fight against Shibe and he's the only one to actually be in the future (2s further) because it got desync during the transfer... now Hizuru finally managed to speak to Ryuunosuke while handling the body and I wonder what's her plan for the fight now, but seems like she can win. |

| So its not Shinpei world as an observer again after a whole lot of loop previously. The death of Ushio before was a massive change of tone and slowly all the friends need to fight Haine-Shide on their own. Haine realized that and commence to obliterate all that left Shinpei as a finisher meal? Damn how cruel you are, creepy loli. Starting with Hizuru and her twin brother first against those two, all is (not) lost! |
