The reverse of a harem is one character trying to hit on many and failing in all cases. A lot of harems are also mixed-sex so what are you going to call those? | If I had to choose between the two then I'll go with reverse harem since I've got some titles I like in that genre (Hanasakeru Seishounen, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Akatsuki no Yona, La Corda D'oro Primo Passo) while I can't really recall any harem titles that I liked as much. In the end it still depends on the series, there are reverse harem titles which were so bad with the "bishie" guys looking so damn ugly I'd rather watch a harem with girls having huge boobs which again I really dislike. Between guys that look like this : And girls that look like this: I'd go with the latter despite not liking either. |

| I am not sure if I have seen any reverse harem other than a single episode of Ouran host club which didn't encourage me to see any more frankly, the whole idea has absolutely 0 appeal to me, and I have no desire to try, when I can watch a regular harem and see some anime tiddies instead if you count Yona as a reverse harem that would be an exception, but I don't think it's the main point of the show, and I would still much prefer it to have just Hak Son, he's the coolest |
