I would still rate it 10/10 despite the ending I didn't like. Chapters until 123 10/10 Ch 123-138 8.5/10 Ch139 5/10 just because of THAT ONE FUCKING PAGE This series has been with me all these years and I am glad that I read it. I really hope MAPPA will get rid of that page which made an absolute clown out of Eren, because if you were to remove it, it would be at least 8/10 for me. Regardless of that, my final score is still 10/10 |

Even if I were to hate the ending, 138 masterpieces are far better than the generic stuff other anime put out before giving an ending 'just as decent' as what's before. This series gave us the masterpiece arcs, 7 or 8 of them, however many there are from Trost to the Last one, I loved every second of this perfect journey. I think ending at 138 would have been a better choice, tonally and symbolically, but even now this was far too better as a whole than any other manga I have read. Changing a rating just for the last chapter is for simpletons. I'm more of a nuanced guy myself. So.... 10/10 Journey before destination, mofos. |

8/10, I'm not the person who would just go ahead and rate it 1/10 just because of a bad ending. It had one some of the best arcs I've ver read, great plot details, some great Characters, tho a bit of them hit ruined in the last arc or the last chapter but still I can give it an 8/10 |

The ending is an 8/10. Could've used more chapters to clear up some of its plot points like Ymir's yearning affection for everyone around her including the abusive king and resolution with Eren and Mikasa. Otherwise tho, I would still rate the overall manga a 10 |

Still a 10/10 for me, extremely sad and disapointed with how it all turned out, this last arc was not great in my eyes, left a huge sour taste in my mouth. Yet everything before that ? I absolutely adored. Actually this is my all time favorite manga and anime. I seriously hope that there's a slight chance the author rethinks the ending and adapts it like they did for evangelion. Still I can't help but feel sad with how it all turned out. Well there's more mangas and animes fortunately, still I am sure there will be great stuff that is still to come out / be created. I hope to be able to experience more masterpieces like this. If I had to just rate the last arc I'd give it a 4/5 in 10. |

For this world has hidden it quite well, so that it is difficult to obtain. But, there will come a day when it is discovered by somebody, And only those who should obtain it will be able to find it. That is all.” Yuyuko Takemiya |

Well, i was expecting most of the things that happened here, like Eren doing it for his friends and putting up a front so that they would try their best to stop him. I mean he has a lot of scenes in between post timeskip flashbacks of him saying how much he cares for his friends and wanted them to live long lives(the obvious one with them on the mining cart thing and another one when he doesn't want to sacrifice Historia making her inherit the Beast Titan and continue the cycle Eldian eating Eldian) Also knew that the theme of love was gonna comeback since it's what mostly drove the characters to their goals "Love someone within the walls, it doesn't matter who", and that the conflict wasn't going to end, because it's part of our history and human nature, "Inside the wall, across the ocean, we're all the same". That's not to say the execution of the ending was perfect i'm not a big fan of Mikasa being there more as a plot point than an actual character, she's been like that for a while, with little to zero character development only working as a strong Ackerman, I think a lot of people are angry cause they took sides and forgot the simple truth of this world, that there's no truth at all, just cause you read a theory you like it also doesn't make it true. And that hate and love are two sides of the same coin, and neither are easily overcome. Having lost my father a few days ago i feel like it made me think about death in another light, and as a person who sought and fought for freedom his whole life it makes me happy to know that he might be free of this hell to soar the skies. So yeah, i'll maintain my 9 score for SNK, after been reading it for 9~10 years now i enjoyed it a lot, the characters, the themes, the story, it has a lot of different things compared to most shonen battle manga, with interesting new ideas. Maybe not the best execution or pacing, but a breath of fresh air nonetheless. I'm happy it ended, now it's time to keep moving foward, cause even if you didn't like the ending, it's not the end of the world, there'll be new shows to love and also new ones to hate or get disapointed in, don't worry guys. Much love, enjoy your day <3 |

My issues lie in how fast the last few chapters have felt and how little ended up being explained. I know what Isayama was going for when Eren questioned why he did it, but i think most other readers didn't get itAn honest 10, will make a spoilery review later on why I think the salty reception this received is undeserving. This was a solid ending to a solid series. May the anime vindicate this one's history with a revisit. |

I assume this arc starts from 123 ? And PoW ends at 122 so judging by that The ending itself 6/10 ( being generous be like 😓) The last arc including chap like 130 and 131 = 7.5/10 if I had excluded them i would have rated them even below than I already have ! Overall :- 8.5 / 10 cuz aot before this last arc was a solid 10 for me that's y it didn't decrease much |

I agree with you guys... The entire thing was a 10/10 until like the last chapter. Now, 137 didn't make much sense to me. However, 138 repaid for that (kinda I would rate it a 9/10). But then, all of a sudden, Chapter 139... This one tweet pretty much sums it up for me. "Eren did everything that he did for the kicks and giggles." I love the entire franchise. But, the end ruined it for me. Honestly, I'm gonna leave it at a 10/10 since I feel that it's not fair for me to change the entire rating based on the ending. I wish there were decimals lol. What do you guys think? |

People keep harping on "nooo it's the journey not the destination !!" but that's only for regular bad endings. This is not even an emergency landing, this is a straight up crash with no safety measures, no survivors. It is so bad that it fucked most of the story's themes and characters, not to mention the numerous plot holes and unexplained shit, and any emotional scenes presented felt like a parody from the sheer ridiculousness of it all. The story has no rereadability potential at all, and with knowledge of the trash finale I will advice anyone to stay away from it. 1/10. |

I'm against lowering the score just because of a chapter. Truth was that some chapters (the ending among them) had me disappointed, but AoT was so good throughout the years that the whole journey/experience deserves a 10/10. |

i've rated this series 8/10 to 9/10, until like chapter 136. now i rated this 7 out of 10. when they've announced that the series will be end in april 2021, i've already thinking that the ending will be rushed or it will be a cliffhanger ending. and it happened. the chapter 139 is so rushed, even isayama suddenly forgot about where is ymir, what historia's intention from having a baby, etc. this reminds me of like 6-7 years ago, there's an article that says hajime isayama planned to end the series with all of the characters died. i've wondered what happens if the ending goes that way... |

I'm pissed off about Historia's sub plot. It's totally and completely pointless. She got pregnant just to avoid inheriting the beast but at the end it was totally pointless because a) The titans power vanish few months later, something that Eren should have known anyway since he sees his future and b) She wouldn't have even inherited the beast because Zeke had the entire MP under his control the whole time thanks to the wine so whenever they would think of feeding him to Historia, he would have threatened to titanize them. So what was the point of this sub plot, basically ? |

DeDeDeath said: yeah people can’t criticize their beloved series. everything after the ch123 is just rushed and not makes sense. I was hoping with the last 2 3 chapters it would come to an sensible end but Yams really didn’t answer anything (Ymir, Hallu and Paths are just plot devices to make everything OK and acceptable in the eyes of people who can’t get their heads out of their arses) and destroyed everything I loved about this manga. In the end it’s just another shounen.when the avengers assembled, it was still a masterpiece to you? people acting like only last chapter was bad when it actually started to decline after timeskip. |

I can write books of how underwhelming the series felt for me after the timeskip, or even worse, the rumbling arc. At the same time, the ending was pretty predictable if you ask me, and at the same time also flawed, since there is absolutely no guarantee that there won't be a war in the future. So to destroy 80% of the population just for a temporary peace (remember that technology was already outpacing the titans, meaning that in the future the titans wouldn't even be that much of a threat anymore) seems kinda overkill to me. Don't want to ramble on forever, but I also want to mention I find it quite hilarious that Levi somehow managed to survive till the end. It's just so ridiculous how OP he is, he makes the titans look like a complete joke. |

I didn't like the last chapter, or the last arc even. But the series as a whole isn't bad. I enjoyed most of it, the ending made me feel empty, but neither angry nor happy. Maybe confused and disappointed that it didn't reach its potential to the fullest but I can't deny amazing things that were before. I was also unsure about the score, but I decided on an 8/10. I compared to other manga I scored as well just to check if it feels right, and yeah, I don't want to put it lower, and definitely not higher. Maybe I'm still in denial and the anger will catch up to me later... but I guess I wasn't as engaged with the story lately at all, and the ending seems more like a technical one because it simply needed to end. |

10/10 up until ch123 and using ch130-131 as bleach for 124-129. But then 5/10 for 132-139. Objectively I'd rate the manga a 7.5/10 overall because the ending leaves me with a bad aftertaste. I might re-read it someday but it wont be as soon as I thought it would. |

I'd probably break it down like this (since I joined in after Final Season P1): Season 1: 9.5 Season 2: 9.25 Season 3 Part 1: 9 Season 3 Part 2: 10 Final Season Part 1: 9.75 and then to the manga, Ch 117-125: 10 Ch 126-138: 8.5 Ch 139: 8 Overall I'd give it a 9.5 rounding down to a 9. Which is still a shame since I was preparing myself to give it a 10, put it at the top of my manga favorites and then spread the gospel on why this is would be the best damn anime on the planet. |

This series is still a 10/10 for me even if the ending was disappointing. The ending does not ruin the series. Isayama had created a brilliant moral conundrum with the rumbling in chapter 123 and it was impossible to create a satisfactory ending with that plot point. Save my country by killing the rest of the world vs letting most of humanity live a peaceful life sacrificing my country. There is no correct answer to this question. It was the equivalent of asking Isayama to solve world peace. |

I feel like a lot of issues that I had with these last few chapters, especially the 139, was due to how Isayama introduced and executed Paths and the whole time travel/future memories shenanigans. Sure, they were foreshadowed many chapters earlier, but it doesn't take the fact that the establishment of those devices made many things feels "weaker" and uninteresting for me. I'd say that until Marley arc this was a Great manga (8-9/10), and while the manga had many issues on its last arc, I still think that the overall package of this piece is still good enough for me (7/10). |

Everything else about the manga was an easy 10/10 for me until chp. 139 That ending wasn't too shit but it was pretty shit, it has so many issues that tie into the rest of the story that it lessens the impact of previous events, 3.5/10 but at the same time, the other 90% of the manga was excellent with the only legitimately bad page. 8/10 overall |
