How did the lever for the elevator work when it wasn't working before? Also there are some scenes which i dont get. What is this? Emma is on water and there is a weird one eye guy Emma and others shouldn't have been in the human world yet so was there a human town in the demon world or something? Lol this whole part made me laugh because i was also so confused on what they were showing us time to read manga brrr brrrr yeah i heard the manga is better compared to this trash season |

| This obviously has nothing on the first season. Completely different anime. But I expected that already when they announced sequel. Looking at it more as a standalone thing, it was just ok-ish for the most part. For a story about small group of escapees, it sure went way over the top with scale. "Hey we can barely survive, but let's change the world while at it!". On top of it everything just working out way too well. All the clever mind games and tactics went out of window and we just ride on Emma's dumb luck. Ending itself, other than the things above, wasn't so bad for me. I'm happy it was conclusive at least. But this slideshow at the end? Wtf? With so many scenes they could make it into another whole season - or at least not show us scenes that we have no way to interpet, like weird dragon-thingy. If they just droped all this "epilogue" and simply jumped to reunion scene we'd actually get less unanswered questions. |

I hated that they showed us those powerpoint slides and leaving them unanswered. They made it seem like there's a chance there might be a season 3 but nope. Emma returns with the crew to the human world. The end. No possibility of season 3. I'm an anime-viewer and I hope they remake this season and stick to the manga. |

| Finally this absolute horseshit is over. What a lazy and awful episode, dear god. So they go all "from ep4 the story will be going in an original route" and rearrange 90% of the manga and make it worse? WHAT WAS THE POINT? Seriously what the hell was the point in all this?? Why skipping the most anticipated arc/characters just to make a condensed and shittier version of those already bad final arcs?? I'm definitely never touching anything written by Kaiu Shirai ever again. Easiest 1/10. I seriously had more fun with Gibiate and Ex-Arm than with this. | Ok, first off when I was it was going to be 1 cour i was like hm, they'll rush it and prolly do some original things but I was happy about that cause I really didnt like how manga turned to be, specially emma's convictions affecting everyone, like noone had their opnions and minds anymore, it was all about what emma wanted. But oh god, it was terrible. Its like you burn rice and eat the bad part, I mean they cut off the best thing of the manga and adapted some of the worst, totally disappointed and I'm only giving it a 5 cause im kind |

| The first season was interesting. Honestly didn't think the story was going to become what it was. It was good. The second season was okay. It wasn't horrible, but it became very predictable. The "gotcha" moments weren't effective. Even the ending 'twist' was foreseeable due to the first season. I didn't mind Emma's ideology, but it was stupid that the story followed it. Especially with the older 4. Phil is my favorite character. |

| I actually kind of want to cry. When I first watched the first season I was blown away and it easily became one of my favorite series. When I heard it was getting a second season I was beyond excited. When it started I definitely didn’t like it as much as the first but I absolutely didn’t dislike it. I still don’t understand why it had so much hate. I mostly see it was because it skipped an arc everyone liked but I really was enjoying the series. I could definitely tell it was being rushed which sucked but I never disliked it. But this ending was just...not good. I am so confused. No idea what even happened or how anything was resolved. I can see a lot of people saying the manga ending wasn’t good either so I just want to know what happened this this story? The first season was so freaking good. I don’t understand how the story changes soo much. The writing feels like it’s completely different. Did they just give up? I loved how things were so mysterious in the first part and they were so clever with doing things, it was even pretty dark at times but this part just seemed super easy and everything went perfect and everyone was nice and happy. I’m going to read the manga now but knowing it’s also not that good breaks my heart. It’s going to be hard to recommend this series to people (which I did a lot before season 2) when the second half of this can’t even compare to the first one. I’m still sticking with an 8 because I did like most of it and I just have a special place in my heart for this series but I am so disappointed and sad. |

| Man what a disappointing episode to end the series. Manga Reader was the Demon Queen a big part of the story in the manga? because I kinda would like some info. Don't think we'll get another season judging by that montage/slideshow ending and Phil getting a little older and reuniting with Emma at the end I'm guessing the demon queen was killed? |

| I had high hopes for ep 11 after a pretty good ep 10 imo. Sadly (as expected) this finally felt rushed. I didn't want a slideshow showing major events and time skips. I wanted to see it all happen. It was heartwarming but also underwhelming :c A big disappointment for sure |

| They ended it on the worst note possible. They just skipped 4 arcs. It felt abrupt and completely unsatisfactory. Everything else about this season was great except the ending. Left me wanting for more. Wish they ended it on a better note or atleast gave us a new season with the other arcs rather than end it in such a lackluster way |

| Like you said, definitely not as good as the first season, I think we all agree on that. Best part of this episode was the end montage but im more sad that the show has ended because it was kinda... just not enough I guess. I wish there was more to it but whatever. I guess the white hair guy's family backstory was necessary so thats whatever. 7.5 or 7.4 /10 series. |

Why is there a dragon? Why are that dragon and Emma on water . . . Jesus style? The human world is on the other side of a magical door, and not in a place that you can reach by travelling. It would have been nice if they mentioned that beforehand. Also, the human world is basically just our world. They showed some royal looking monsters, but then nothing came of it. WTF! Is this anime really complete? Yeah wtf was that. The dragon came out of nowhere and Emma being Jesus was a surprise. |

| This sucks. I didn't hate this season as much as others but the execution felt just- I don't know. Like I didn't think it was the worst thing but what really got me was when they did a montage at the end. I was expecting to see the human world, which I'm glad I saw. But then they do a time jump across things we missed and it felt strange just seeing all this progress skipped through on the demon side of the world. They changed the world but we didn't see the change! |

| After reading some comments here, a lot of manga readers apparently didn't like the ending in the manga at all and some part of a manga have some annoying parts. I am not a manga reader so I want to ask, manga readers, tell me, if they actually adapt from the manga perfectly and there was no rush, would the anime still become good or will it not because the manga was that bad and only the first part of the manga was magnificent just like S1 of this anime was amazing? I am confuse because manga readers doesn't seem to like the manga ending very much, if that is the case, then the anime adaption is doom from the beginning if the manga was trash to begin with. What do you expect from an anime if that is the case? Yes, anime is rushed, doesn't follow the manga/material exactly and the montage ending was silly because you can use that material for s3 instead. However, don't blame the freaking studio if the author is the one that came up with a bad story/ bad ending to begin with. Making an anime is not going to turn a bad story from a manga to an amazing story in an anime, doesn't work like that. I won't blame them for rushing if the story wasn't that great to begin with, I mean, many manga readers doesn't seem to like the manga as much so... yeah If I am wrong, I apologized. Just that I see so many people bashing the show and yes I understand why but I just hope they don't blame the wrong target. |

I am confuse because manga readers doesn't seem to like the manga ending very much, if that is the case, then the anime adaption is doom from the beginning if the manga was trash to begin with. What do you expect from an anime if that is the case? The thing is, the manga didn't just went from a great 1st arc to outright terrible 1/10. This arc would still be pretty alright, it's actually many people's favourite part. So if they had adapted it at least this season would still be worth the hype (although the genre would still be different from the first season) and THEN on a possible season 3 start taking steps to fix the (mostly pacing and some plot) problems that began to become more and more obvious on the later part of the manga. They could have taken the plot points from the manga, just like they did here, and elaborated on them. The ending of the TPN manga isnt Oh TERRIBLE (although im not really a fan of it myself) but at least it made some sense. The problem was that the last stretch of the manga was also weirdly paced and a bit all over the place so it felt off and cheap. All this they could have used the opportunity to fix it in the anime but instead they just made it worse... It was almost like they actually took everything people disliked from the mamga and packed it together in anime form. It's what's most frustrating about this season... |

| Anime only for The Promised Neverland - I must say I was immensely disappointed with how this ended, and the season as a whole. It felt so rushed, it wasn't even funny. So many important looking parts set up to be a montage? What? Why? That's not how it should have happened! I for one will be reading the manga after this, to hopefully get a better feeling for the story. |

| Why the human in the human world so accepting? And they smiling, atleast make them face confused wtf there is a bunch of children suddenly showed up out of nowhere. Then isnt sonju, once said that he want to eat human too, but his religion restricted him from eating human from the farms, thats why he helps them, because he can and want to eat human that came from natural breeding? And there was no fucking blood in the knife that ratri used to kill himself, i thought he was shot by the sister but no wtf. And there is a lot of clusterfuck slide show without context. They give us a tearjerking moment between phil and emma but a few minutes after that they reunited am i supposed to cry from that wtf CW what are you smoking? Tbh i did cry a lil bit, but because of the bgm, isabella lullaby and the one that they use since season one, that always make me teared up because the amazing season 1,not because the finale was sad. | Yikes, underwhelming is a terrible understatement. I don't have to be a manga reader to know that this was a total hack job. It would be like The Lord of the Rings stopping after the second film and playing The Return of the King in a 3 minute slideshow. I get the gist of what happens, but there's absolutely no pay off for seeing the characters finally realize their goal. The human world being our world was probably the last thread that cut all immersion into the lore. Using the real world isn't an inherently bad choice, but it was highly unimaginative and just further soured this already dissatisfying conclusion. It also feels pointless for everyone to cross over there if whole point was to reform the demon world into a place where humans & demons could coexist peacefully. It's even there in the title - The Promised Neverland - a place promised that could never be that Emma & company would still idealistically strive for. This second season is a classic example of how life offers so much but delivers so little. The suspense, thrill & dread that season 1 wrought was almost entirely absent. One of the strongest aspects of Promised Neverland was seeing how a bunch of helpless children had to sharpen their wits & use what little leverage they had against vastly superior predators. In this season, it was sort of just "Run from big monster > next thing happens > run from guard dogs > next thing > run from bad demons > next thing." The whole strategy of playing tag wasn't even incorporated in any meaningful way during any of those chases either. And certainly, finally giving them a fighting chance with bows & arrows was fine, but it started devolving into absurd moments of kids tackling trained soldiers and beating demon guards with metal pipes. The inclusion of those super humans was also a bit of a letdown. This started by digging right into one of the darkest themes known to man - the predation of children. And even though it was demons perpetuating this abominable system, it felt bone chillingly real. S2, on the other hand, had some interesting themes but felt like they often fell flat with Emma's heavy handed idealism. I liked the idea of humans & demons coming together to overthrow the nobles and create a world where they don't have to prey or eradicate, but most of what was done felt very surface level. The rioting of the demon citizens gifted with the evil-blood, for example, was an inherently sound idea. The problem was cramming it in within a couple of episodes and not setting up the infrastructure to make the transition to that point feel coherent or reasonable. Overall, I can't say I absolutely hate this season or think the demonic degeneration of the score is totally justified, but I have very mixed feelings about where I stand on this. If I treat this for what it's worth, I'd probably give it a 6.5/10. When I consider the potential wasted due to rushing, cutting content & dropping the ball on crucial themes, I start to feel more in the 5/10 range. In any case, this was a severely disappointing way to send off what was shaping up to be one of the best thrills I've seen in anime. |

| Didn't feel a thing. All the tension from the first series gone. Everything was solved so easily. 'Oh here's Norman who magically built up an army and made an anti demon juice all off screen.' 'Oh Emma is too much of a Mary Sue to kill them? Well here's a magic demon juice that magically makes demons stop deteriorating and not need to eat humans.' 'How will everyone manage to make a life in a human world that rejected them? Well here's a a vague slideshow showing things ended happily ever after. Oh and we'll throw in a few slides of Emma saving the other kids somehow too'. Season 1: Use genuine wit to escape a facility. Season 2: Save the world with vague unexplained magical solutions. Of course this is coming from an anime only watcher and I'm sure the manga had far more depth which makes it all the more sad. |

| As bad as this season has been, I was convinced, with three minutes left, that we were getting a season 3. I thought that there was no possible way that any self-respecting studio would be shameless enough to cram all of those momentous events into a three minute slideshow. Amazingly, the absolute mad lads actually did it. I guess it's fitting for this season to end with one big, final "fuck you" after all the timeskips, exposition dumps, and asspulls, and honestly, I was blown away. Thank you Cloverworks, for this hilarious mess. |

| What, they used a few pictures of a slideshow for the fight against the higher monsters? Okay, maybe because there is no chance for any surprise, but anyway it feels very rushed. The reunion from Emma and Phil is also pointless for me (there is literally no interaction between them bevor). when Norman had to leave in S1, you could really empathize. The ages also fit way better, a good ship in this time imo. Btw. I would have found it more entertaining if they had made Norman a "breeding bull" (instead of ONLY experiments). How the farms are supplied in this regard is unfortunately not mentioned at all. i gave s1 a 9/10 but this season was just meh, so 6/10 |

| Pretty sure that the final PowerPoint presentation could have been a third Season on it's own, but whatever *shrug*. It felt really bad how the Human world just accepted the escapees with joy and open arms, considering they have been compliant with it for the last 1000 years, and are much more likely to think that these guys are more trouble than it's worth, oh well *shrug*. One loose end that I don't see people putting up on the first few pages here, but really kept me on my toes in the last few episodes, as well as after the finale - Sonju stated that he's waiting for the day when he can hunt able humans and eat them, so how does he feel about the resolution? In a world of peace, is he just going become a serial killer, or a mercenary taking part in random human conflicts? After I lost interest in Emma due to the escapist world that justifies her on every step, he was the last character that still held my interest *sigh*. |

| Okay so let me start by saying that this season was indeed really bad. It is however not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. I've seen it described as pretty much the worst thing to be shown on a screen. It is obvious that there was a lot of content cut and even with the stuff that was shown they easily could've fit it in a 24+ series. Normans' story got rushed, time skips didn't make sense and were only confusing and dissapointing, and the plot was too reliant on convenience (they grace field infiltration could have been pretty good if the ''twist(s)'' had been set up properly. This easily should've taken 6+ episodes at the minimum). Most characters were actually undeveloping as the series went on. Very black and white ideals which lead to straight up annoying decision making at some points, of course the characters also didn't stay consistend in their views (like everyone suddenly is chill with literal demons, the sick fuck that expiremented on everyone doesn't get attacked by anyone, and everyone forgives Isabella; a woman who has literally sold your family off to be eaten by demons?!) Animation-wise it was way worse then season 1 and the amazing points of view from season 1 didn't make a return the cinematography was passable at best. The music did slap tho. All in all the show was very dissapointing especially after the amazing first season. This is probably also the reason why so many people rate it a 1 or 2. It had a lot of potential and blew it. Still it was enjoyable enough and had some very nice moments in between the dissapointmnts. It is a 6/10 for me. Did bad as a sequel but decent as a stand alone (not considering the greatness of S1) |

| Alot of stuff wasn't explained nd the ep was rushed. Honestly, finale wasn't even that bad. It's buring the ass of toxic readers only. Yeah, I'm also dissapointed that they didn't showed Yuugo, Lucas, Lewis nd the whole fucking Goldy Pond. Also, in this season, there was no change in character appearances. In manga, all kids were grown taller. And who the fuck would make a kid(Norman) boss. In manga, he was taller nd more mature. It was understandable to hv him as the boss. This season came out to be a dissapointment. I read the manga in curiosity nd kept my hopes high for this season. But.......y'all know the result. Also, I'm not gonna forgive Cloverworks because they ruined the animation part. |

| You've got to be kidding me, did they really end the series with a slideshow? lmao. I mean, at least the visuals of the kids living normal lives in the human world is some of my favorite stuff of the season, especially seeing Isabella in casual clothes... damn, she's so pretty <3. But come on, I think there are points that are way too important between those still shots xD. Oh well, at least it was a happy ending. I didn't like at all how overly nice Emma was to the point of wanting to convince Ratri to come to the good side. Apparently Ratri also got tired of her bs and killed himself haha, that was hilarious. Overall what a damn shame what this turned into. I didn't hate it like other people but I had really liked the first 2-3 episodes and was really into it so I'm leaving with a huge disappointment of what could have been but bad decisions behind the scenes turned it into. |
