Goujo is so OP, It's like that he is stronger than those two headmasters.
Toudo is so silly but he is not stupid, he manage to know Hanami technique while imagining his idol girl again.
The Juju stroll, only Nabara a cat person? Everyone else in Tokyo branch is a dog person. Wonder what Inumaki real answer is..
Next episode is a random episode... well, it's time for those students to relax before facing those strong enemies again.

Park, Seong-Hu is truly a terrible director. The episode had it all. Good enough budget, had a lot of great scenes and yet despite all he managed to make it as boring as a Naruto episode.
Yikes. Can't wait for him to ruin CSM.
Who said he will direct CSM, It's probably gonna be dororo's director cause he is the only one in mappa who is free

1. It's funny cause he's talking about Sunghoo Park as a bad director when he only directed/storyboarded one episode this whole season and that's episode 7.
2. CSM won't have Dororo's director that's confirmed, lots of rumors say that it most likely won't be someone from the studio directing.

The brotherhood perseveres and eh, Yoshinobu only fought a little. Good ep as always.

Edit: How could I forget about Tōdō's mind's scenario? That was a great scene and made me like the character even more. Fucking NASA processing power bullshit, loved it.

reeeeally happy we're getting ooo arc in this season! i remember when i was reading manga i felt that first arc was underwhelming, and then vs kyoto arc showed some nice characters and fights but overall was more like a build-up, so ooo arc for me is the arc where i started liking jjk for real

Where to even start. This episode was so good. The fight scenes had top notch animation. We got more of the Yuuji and Todo bromance. And then we got Gojo being OP yet again. I feel like this is the best episode from the Kyoto Exchange Arc so far. Hopefully they can keep this going for the final four episodes of the season.

I know this is damn late asf but dam I can't bear watching a single Jujutsu Kaisen a week so I made a big brains move to wait for another.

Toudou and Yuuji took turns clapping Hanami and the same goes for her and damn was that an epic battle.

But DAMN GOJOU MY MAN, HE LITERALLY SPLIT THE WORLD SO EASILY G TO THE G.

That switching ability makes this brother duo the tag team of DEATH. They held their own for so long, and may have even survived whatever hinami was going to do with all that energy. Maybe they were in trouble because the plot called in for the man to just come in and clean house

Gonna end this season with an arc that makes it a sports anime for a bit, bring it on, I’ll take anything and everything this anime has to give

honestly, this is one of the few episodes i’ve thoroughly enjoyed this entire season. i don’t want to sound like a downer, so i won’t reiterate the same “this show is generic” argument (even if i do agree with it), but the reason why i say episode 20 was particularly enjoyable is because the fight scene of Toudou Vs. Hanami was actually quite gripping. Since we had already seen the heights to which Hanami’s strength can reach, it was genuinely impactful to see them being smothered by an opponent and essentially put in a position of helplessness. Toudou’s “Boogie Woogie” power is also really unique, and i think the way it offsets his usually-intense nature with a vague sense of finesse (it also exhibits his capability to think strategically and exploit his own strengths beyond just using brute force) adds a nice pinch of depth to his character. it also supports the claim that he may indeed have an IQ of 530.000 lol. in past fight scenes throughout this show, it’s been hard for me to get too engaged or even excited about them because the characters involved were simply less interesting, both personality-wise and in terms of unique abilities/powers. as soon as Toudou appeared in the anime i knew he would be my saving grace just as i was about to give up on Jujutsu, and episode 20 gave him the spotlight that he deserves. i doubt we’ll get to see much more of him in action after this (🤞🏽), but it was an entertaining scene nonetheless.

didn’t realize how much i typed out, apologies for the mini-essay

Such a great episode Man this shit is impressing me with these fighting scenes. First Todou’s technique is op as fuck also he was doing a rasengan I saw it. Itadori trying to break records I see. But the best moment for tho was Gojou man his transformation was badass and that Signature Move was badass. Someone sign this Niggs Gojou to a contract man those blue eyes are shining everywhere mappa going crazy.

So Hanami can use domain expansion, but that was too late. Gojou being Gojou felt great as always. That looked so amazing.

Looks like Mahito took all the 6 fingers, damn. So someone was actually working for them. Not going to lie, I forgot how many fingers there are, but looks like Yuuji and 2 and Mahito stole 6. I don't think the others were revealed? Might be wrong. Can't wait to see more hype things from Sukuna.

Some of the best fight choreography that I've seen. I absolutely love the tactics when fighting, it's not just I'm stronger and this one punch will kill you. Boogie Woogie is a hell of a technique and it was used perfectly.

I am consistently blown away how this manages to one up itself as the best looking Shounen week after week. Gojou-sensei breaking out the purple, hot damn.

I was so hype I forgot what the bad guys' goal actually was, but it seems they've snagged a finger.

Next episode...baseball?

Best fight, best episode, and best arc so far by a large margin.

A lot of why this fight is so excellent comes from having such a strong grasp on the individuals of all the participants involved and seeing them utilized in strategic ways, which is something almost no other fight in JJK thus far has managed. At the beginning of the episode Todo gives a break down of all the abilities Hanami has (though the flower thing at the end is of course a mystery), and Todo's Boogie Woogie is something we've seen earlier in the arc, which is great because it allows Todo saving him from being impaled feel more earn BUT specifically because Todo claims that he can only do it between him and his one person but in the instance we first see it used he switched Itadori with Kamo, meaning that we're in on his subterfuge from the get-go, which made the moment he swaps Hanami and Itadori incredibly gratifying. The amount of subterfuge his ability allows made for a much more compelling fight, like tying the ability to his clapping and then clapping without switching. The tactical nature of this battle made it a lot more enjoyable. And the rose bud ability moment was great too, I knew he was making a bad idea without some weird daydream but making his realization presented in such a weirdly Todo way was brilliant, and made his countered even more satisfying. Panda vs. Mechamaru gave us a taste of this kind of fight scripting but it was nowhere near this level. First time I can say I loved a fight in this series.

It is upsetting that it didn't get a proper conclusion though. But that's a minor quibble really, since I do quite enjoy seeing Gojo be be cool and broken AF. The way he instantly dismantled that coatrack guy was hype as hell.

As for why this is the best arc, honestly it's probably because it's the most traditionally shonen. The whole competition thing, one that eventually gets interrupted by bad guys is a staple of Shonen series (Naruto, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball, etc.) but it's a pretty good formula. But basically, this allows for a broader focus on the cast, as multiple characters got focus each with different abilities, the battles also gravitated to more tactical approaches like previously mentioned, and I guess I just think that since JJK wheelhouse is being cool, that an arc focused solely on a competition/fights just naturally fights it's style better, rather than crafting a strong narrative that features battles along the way.

Slight upgrade in the direction of Gojou entrance scene. OST as well, since the percussion did add a sense of intensity. But still feels pretty empty. This arc has probably ended in this episode, so all the show can do now is tease that something with actual substance can happen in the future

As someone who has a lot of experience in anime, the OST of this show is average, it's not bad but not impressive or captivating. This isn't only a Jujutsu Kaisen issue tho, is more of an anime nowadays issue. Even the last season of AOT's soundtrack was meh in comparison with it's predecessors. This been happening for a while now in the industry, every year that passes the quality of soundtracks suffers and become either generic and/or soulless. Its like the music doesn't have that fire anymore. I just hope this doesn't become a trend that never ends because so far there hasn't been anything special in any new show that i've watched. During the 2000's the music that was produced in any year during that decade was like 95% better than anything made in the past 8 years. Anyways let's talk about Jujutsu Kaisen and how amazing that show is, definitely way better than the majority of shounens out there trending. What that show does that makes it stand out from the rest is the story and characters, also the pace of the anime is very solid.

My Favorite Episode till now. I guess every episode is gonna be my favorite.

Those SMOOTH Fighting ANIMATION , how the two BROTHERS dealt with HANAMI , & the entry of GOJOU SATORU is what's best about this episode. ____ I guess this covers all of the episode, so yes this episode is all great.

Ah, now I understand why it was an "anti-Gojo field."

This series borrows so many motifs from Naruto it almost feels like plagiarism, yet the motifs are fused beautifully into its own world.

Seeing Itadori master Rasengan so early... mmf, so good. His chemistry with Todo is the stuff of shounen legend.

I love their mix together as a team and how coordinated their attacks are

Yuuji hitting consecutive Black Flashed and might surpass Nanami he has a lot of potential, Hinami is seriously a pain in the ass to deal with

And now Gojou broke the veil interesting I thought no one can do it but he did and things got down immediately.
