THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I found this conclusion very surprising, totally not what I was expecting. Definitely one of the best isekais we had in the past years, I loved the characters especially Yotsuya, he was very cool. That fighting scene reminded me of when I was on Oxford, I had a fight with two guys wearing hoods who wanted to steal my briefcase. Sequel announced cant wait !! |

Yuusuke Yotsuya's reaction is pretty natural as he fears about how virtual fiction blends with reality. From a real life point of view in terms of storytelling, this finale got more pretty serious. One of the better episodes imo as it managed to be more eerie than the others. Following Yotsuya's life in the real world also feels way different than the other world. Season 2 coming in July 2021. |

Back to the real world, and the absolute realism of Yotsuya's situation kicks into a rabbit hole so deep he can't get out. Yuka filling Yotsuya's actions to Shindou and Kusue for such a predicament, and the Game Master (in the form of a girl) personally coming down to give him an inkling was just as surprising as it could be. A new player??? The Game Master sure brought Yotsuya into another hell of a matter, where the premonition of death is just as real as the Isekai world, and saving a man from a potential player and his brother's killing plot. Let me make this clear: While all the other characters return to their normal lives, Yotsuya is slowly entering into the pits of Hell, to be a villain Hero, fighting for his own justice. This will be even more evident in Season 2 when it comes. A stupid kid with stupid dreams, ready to take on correcting the "justice" of the world. Q: WHERE IS YOUR JUSTICE? And yes, Season 2 is coming out in Summer 2021. I can't be more happy for this continuation, because this entire season IS A SET-UP PROLOGUE. |

I wanted to like this show, I really did, but I just couldn’t get with it. I really appreciate that the series tried some new things and had a unique character dynamic with the MC and side characters, but it never got past “meh” for me. I love isekai, but this just didn’t hit. 5/10. Can’t post my full review yet since MAL doesn’t even care enough about it to change it to finished airing lmao. |

Such intense and depressing moments for Yotsuya. Finally, he can move on in the end. The Game Master should stay in that loli form forever. It's way better than his weird halved-head muscular form. New season with a new adventure, can't wait for it. |

The set up for a second season was actually pretty decent ngl. Now that we know more of a plot, as it's gone from typical Isekai standard, to I guess 'The value of human life' which will make next season more interesting, depending how they go about it. |

Wowzers, I did not expect that kind of ending. OK, the second show to end after Majo no Tabitabi and like I expected last week, it's pretty much a homecoming episode. Yotsuya's mind on killing a human person really gave him dark thoughts of such. To the point that he became much more worse than when we started. Also our girls Iu, Kusue and Yuka changed after the quests. They became a bit more stronger and mature with their lives...(maybe) Anyways the girl that showed up to Yotsuya is actually the Game Master (who looks so much like Hime Gotou from Kakushigoto). She now lets Yotsuya meet with the fifth player, Keita, as he prevents him and his little bro from being arrested for a crime, the same way he saved Yuka from cyber bullying. I can already say Keita will be a good dude alongside the team, and the fights between him and Yotsuya along the way. So Yotsuya finally acknowledges his resolve, to bring "justice" on how he perceives it. The Game Master definitely questions his ideology on that though with that final question. Anyways that's it for the show, an isekai RPG that was really interesting with its synopsis but did not prove itself with its hidden potential. I'm a bit mixed for this show, so I gave this a 6/10. Hopefully the 2nd season will surpass this, because I can already tell it will be much more darker and serious than this first cour. I was pumped out by the surprise announcement of a 2nd season in the end. Those last minutes of the episode are pretty much the trailer for Season 2 that will come out in July 2021. Wow, even though I do not like this show that much, I'm kinda down for S2, so yeah I'm in!!! |

I didn’t like 100-man, it was one of the worst shows of this season imo. The set up for the next season looked good, I hope that will be better than this one. 3/10. |

Yotsuya had some massive rethinking to do after what we learned at the end of last episode. As this dark isekai comes to a close with him thinking about the justice he wants to fight for. I'm happy we got a slow episode to end this first season after that hellish tense blizzard arc. Yotsuya has been through a lot already with being summoned to that alternate world which he assumed to be virtual. I can only imagine how much it would screw with your head to learn you'd literally killed someone. Seeing the game master as that little girl did throw me for a loop, same with Yotsuya using magic in a restaurant to stop that guy with the gun. Saving that next player and his brother will hopefully help out during their next mission. Everyone else seemed to be adjusting well enough to be back in their world. Yuka, Shindou and Hakozaki all did great this season along with Yotsuya. They faced a lot of hard challenges with the crazy game master and their missions. This show is definitely rough around the edges but still a good deal of intrigue is presented and I like the characters. Excited we're getting more soon! 70/100 |

Ah the typical reaction from Yotsuya, welp nothing much to say about that. Surprisingly I kinda liked this anime even thou I thought it was gonna be a shitshow at the begining but it had some good parts and we'll get to see more in season 2. Looking forward to it. |

I don’t know what about the show that just made it such a bad watch for me. Plot was average, so I’d usually give this kinda show just a 5/10, but I think it’s the fact that the characters are so goddamn bad and annoying they are, especially the egotistical mc, that makes me give this show a 2/10. Anyways . . . looks like we are getting a season 2 July 2021. Totally didn’t expect it to get one, but with the introduction of a new character at the end of this episode, I was starting to speculate it near the end of the episode. Yotsuya’s speech at the end made me lose brain cells. I didn’t understand what he was even trying to get at. If I’m wrong he was trying to say that: The value of human’s lives are allowed to be determined by me. Only him, Yotsuya, can decide whether or not a person should die. He knows that way of thinking is wrong, but since he’s a kid and is going through that chuunibyou phase, he can’t accept it? I don’t get what or why the hell that monologue was at the end. |

This episode was surprisingly good! the animation quality improved quite a bit, and this is probably the first time this show has captured the "essense" of the manga (for me at least). I'll be happy if they can carry the quality into next season. Bumping up the scores a bit, very much looking forward to the next season! |

pretty nice finale, yotsuya has changed quite a lot throughout the season and his character development was shown quite well in this episode. the post credits scenes, were quite interesting. seems like we're getting a second season in space which sounds pretty cool, lots of new characters were introduced too. |

And I'd say that the next quest is better than this season quest. But,, the next quest will had a lot of action, and since the animation studio kinda lame, Idk how good the quest will be in anime format. But if you like the character development, you'll still find it tho. The manga is enough for another 3 season and I'd say the characterization is still solid, the story is still growing, and the mystery is still there. It's just keeps getting better. This season quest is just about trip to radodorpo and fighting small monster here and there. But the next next quest will start to be about fighting human, saving lifes, stopping disaster, stopping drugs addiction, helping soldier in war, etcTo be honest I don't know how should I feel about this anime. Well, well, well, look what information that has been dumped at these last episode. Some kind of reaffirmation that these series is a parallel world that intermingled with each others via game master connection. Its really not a usual isekaish show like my previous judgement. Either its really a helpful matter to save Yotsuya world from a destruction, or its just a pure have fun matters for those 'little girl', i still knew nothing. However, one thing that surely be done; that one more people already joined to their party with a great affection toward Yotsuya. Hurray! Which is mean, the probability for Yotsuya to complete the quest unintentionally getting increased! Its not just that, he somehow get more motivation to by saving those guy. He was still twisted as fuck for his overall personality. But its still perfectly matched up from his characterization, consistence till the end. So, well, this is really intriguing. For the story wise aspect, this show proved to be very entertaining with a lot of unexpected explanations. Its really an enjoyable matters for me. However, the high notes are still attach at their animation and art sections thats somehow so mediocre. So, i hope the next year seasons will be a great chance for a massive improvement of them. Story: 8 Art and animation: 5 Sounds: 6 Characters: 7 Enjoyment: 8 Overall: 7/10 Thats it from me! |

Finally some improvement in storytelling compared to the rest of the season, but it's stupid that it was for the last episode. If s2 wasn't announced in the episode, then I'd really doubt it'd get one. I believe better decision would be to make season 1 with 24 episodes, instead of splitting it into 2 seasons. As that improvement was too little too late. Until the production of s2 is in a late stage, then the chances that it'll be delayed are very high, as not many people will watch it. |

What a totally amazingly enthralling episode! Usually last episodes suck ass (especially when I know that season 2 is confirmed), they usually just leave in the middle of nowhere sorta and you wait for next season. In this episode, but this final episode of the season felt perfect to me, I loved the dark undertones and character development the most. While the episode was mostly about Yotsuya, I think it still gave a lot of justice to other characters. I especially liked my girl Hakozaki's development. She felt so fragile before getting into the world and while it may seem that she didn't do much (for herself as well), the progress is right there in the open field right? I mean, her mom noticed that, Shindou noticed that, atta girl, you can do it :D Seems like Game master is more humane than maybe even Yotsuya is? It feels like he/she has their own moral ground that he/she stands on. Firsly wondering how Yotsuya feels after killing and then giving him a small lecture on how he isn't greater than others. Honestly... loved that quote, "value of human life? and you are deciding it as you are an internet user that's better than everyone else?" and Yotsuya replying with the "Only I am right and the rest of the world is wrong" makes you remember that he is a teenaager and who didn't used to think like that at some point of their life? Not sure how I feel about being able to use magic in their world and why was that Yakuzza guy so freaking pathetic, and if he went that route, why in the world idndt he shoot him before Yotsuya grabbed the glove or as he was running toward him, weird... (btw, love how game master called him Yuu-kun there) The highlight of the episode tho, were the dark undertones and the pain and inner struggle that Youtsuya was going through... Oh... and can't wait for next season then... I guess I won't be reading manga anytime soon now. |

Great last episode - with the second season already confirmed. Looking forward it. It has a lot of potential with the philosophical questions the game master asked. (Funny she was a young girl in real life lol.) Also the stuff in the parallel world was interesting. 8/10 from me. One of the better isekai recently. And one of the better fantasy anime. Usually you get boring (mobile) game adaptions as fantasy. (This season has had a bit better stuff though.) And boring light novel isekai with annoying stuff. This didn't have annoying chars like in Re:Zero. Not as boring as the Naka no Hito Genome anime. Yeah ... I think the only other good isekai on this level of 100-man (or above) had been Yojou Senki (non-medieval-fantasy) and KonoSuba (comedy). Other than that I usually prefer normal fantasy over isekai. (Sadly the good ones are also rare there nowadays.) --- At the end of this last episode they seem to have referred to other anime. At least the line with dedicating the hearts to saving humanity ... was reference to Shingeki no Kyojin. I wonder if season 2 really will play in space (I guess not lol) or if they only referred to some other long running fantasy anime where the last season ended with hinting that the plot there might be in space in later seasons. :D |

Despite the score, I genuinely liked this anime quite a bit. I think the only thing that's holding the score back for me personally is the lack of psychological development, however, I do agree wholeheartedly that by foreshadowing Yotsuya's philosophical characterisation in the final scene of the first ep and developing its first step in the final episodes, it really sets up the next season to be a banger. Another manga/anime that does something similar is Vinland Saga, but the quality of that prologue is on a completely different level. TLDR; this season sacrificed development in order to create a greater stage for development next season, an idea I wholeheartedly support. It sacrificed its own quality to increase the series' long-term quality. 6/10 |

Lol I actually didn't think that the Game Master will be a cute loli. I'm also still confused about Yotsuya's personality. I didn't really like him at first but eventually get used to it. This is the only episode I found very good. The rest are super slowly paced. 7/10 overall. Let'see if the 2nd season of this is gonna be more interesting than this, especially they'll now go to space. |

2nd season JULY?!? Can't come soon enough ;_; Tho I'm praying most of the "teaser" post credits is a troll (I mean c'mon, continuation occurs in space? seriously? wth....) Anyhow, thought it was cool to find out that....well, since the other "world" is a parallel reality Yotsuya's "mind control powers" worked in "this reality" too as long as he got that glove that the the Game Master pulled out with such great timing. Personally, I actually couldn't help but applaud how he handled that whole situation. So hopefully the new guy doesn't have quite a bad first impression of Yotsuya compared to how much of an epic fail he handled Yuka's situation thus her first impression seemed more negative... As for his monologue at the end. I can kind of see what he's mentally going through and how he's trying to come to terms with it so to speak. He's had this odd "lone gamer" kind of mindset this whole time where efficiency is everything and completing the quests is everything....and even if he has to sacrifice something as long as the goal is met it's fine in his book. However this also factors in the fact that he didn't know the other world was a parallel reality. After finding that out though he was struggling about how to process that info and in the end -with that monologue at the end- despite knowing his way of thinking is in the end flawed he chooses to continue with his line of thinking rather then stuck questioning and second guessing himself because the completion of the quest matters in the end. So in the instance of him killing that one guy... he's convinced himself the dude deserved what he got but if he doesn't think that way....he'll just eventually mentally break down with a guilty conscience over "killing a person". He "realizes this thinking is wrong" but can't think of another way to cope without going against who he is at his core. So the tl;dr regarding his monologue is that he ain't going to change the way he does things because he thinks questioning his future decisions (/second/guessing himself) may lower their chances of survival. It will be interesting if he truly doesn't change in the next season or somewhere deep inside something changed but he hasn't realized it. |

Big fan of the manga so I was really interested in seeing the anime. With it just being 12 episodes I knew they couldn't do to much and I was right they only got through the first 2 and a half volumes and to so that they had to add a lot of filler. Over all though I did enjoy it. It started good, slowed down in the middle but picked up at the end with a very strong last episode with good set up. If the next season is 12 episodes again it will likely adapt the entirety of the next arc as that one is as long as everything that cam before it. 7/10 for me. |
