| This is terrible. What's up with this rushed and poor attempt of characterization in this anime? There always voice of criticism of having characters being one dimensional, but in the case of of Hiroto I think being as cool as he was is better than having him a rushed generic backstory. And once again damsel in distress storyline like Charlotte towards the end of the series I feel. |

| Honestly don't really know what to think of this show anymore. I guess I shouldn't have expected much different given its from Maeda but still I was holding out some hope that it would be. All that transpired in this episode feels a little too late if you ask me. I couldn't get personally invested in the drama with Hina being taken away and learning she has little time left to live. Most of this show has spent its time kind of messing around with goofy hijinks and barely fleshing out the story at a decent pace that all of this coming near the end of its run just doesn't sit right with me. Doubt these last few eps will do much to overall improve the show but at the very least im hoping it can have a solid landing, |

| Lol. They pulled off the sci-fi themed already on these episode, without any hesitations. Full of scientific approaching. The backstory of Suzuki insanely took the credits. Its his visualization where he slept in the op sequence. Then, the sea of information visualization. The programme guardian, visualized as a blue whale. Then, the visualization of quantum computer chip at Hina's mind, image by the goldfish. Everything already revealed, and the puzzle of imaginery, slowly has been open. Yeah, in order to save Hina from the logos syndrome. The profesor used his resources to created a super computer chip inside her brain (the process is still unknown, just used your own imagination to made it fit into you. Lol!). So, the company and their higher-ups decided its too dangerous. They must get rid of it, or even used it by themself. Manipulation of the world. The company proved to successfully handle such a thing, easily. God must be damn! Hina easily getting captured, by those black suit companions. No one could even stop them! Suzuki did something wrong, only to proved his own desire, he endangered and stole the other peoples happiness. And yeah, those two young souls finally told their own feeling. The truth, they said it out loud. I can't say much. Its just how their truth and resolution united after everything that happened on their past few days, full of great memories. And its led them into those words. If everything still stay at the sadness route. Nothing could even stop the end of Hina. However, i am still trusting a miracle to changed everything. So, come now, the power of MC. The power of Youta. Save those little chuuni girl! |

| So... Hina is basically Lain but a lot less depressed? She's connected to the world via all cybernetic systems and is able to see and interact with all kind of data but of course, that makes her a threat. And this is what happens when you waste 7 episodes with the cast just fooling around. Everything in this episode ended up feeling so forced, rushed and overly dramatic. It's already episode 9! I couldn't care less about the hacker kid being beaten by his shitty parents and for fuck's sake, what's with that sudden love confession from Youta? Until now, Hina has been basically acting like that annoying little cousin one can have so it's impossible for me to identify the exact moment MC started seeing her with romantic interest. If you wanted romance in your series, you already had Izanami to fill the role of Youta's partner so why? Does Maeda have a loli fetish I'm not aware of? Seriously, this episode was just plain awful. The "cyberspace" sea metaphor with hacker kid was so cringey and unnecessarily long and the explanation of Hina's illness being "cured/delayed" by a quantum computer chip that was inserted into her head sounds stupid beyond belief. |

| Damn the ending of the episode, I sometimes like how the ending of the episode isn't something happy and more like something sad, just more impact. Well we got to see Yota's feelings even though he chose Izanami at first but I guess he changed. And we got Hina that confessed too. Ending was quite bittersweet I would say. Can't wait for next week's ep |
| As expected, it's Hina's world that will come to an end. Not much was surprising this episode. I feel like the role of the hacker is largely irrelevant, and perhaps my expectations were too high but I don't feel super moved by Hina's circumstances this episode. From the moment they revealed that Dr.Korogi was researching natural immune systems, and that he was related to Hina, it was already safe to assume that Hina had some sort of incurable disease. And the prediction ended up being right on the mark. The quantum computer stuff also feel a bit farfetched, but it follows the plot routinely, seeing as Dr. Korogi was a computer genius. I feel like the words from Jun Maeda that this would be the most heartbreaking anime of all time, really did more harm than good. The plot doesn't have any real twists to subvert your expectations, because what the most likely prediction on why 'the world was ending' and what Hina's circumstances are, turn out to be exactly the reason you think it is, which is a bit disappointing. The story is still nice and I still enjoy it, but I don't feel like this will be much of a tearjerker at the end. But we shall see! |
| As guessed by many people here, it's only Hina's world that will end but, I didn't expect her to have not known that until now since, her omniscient powers probably stopped at that point she just assumed everything was going to end. Great episode but, the Izanami episode is still my favorite. This episode is definitely second though. Hiroto's backstory was pretty sad, everyone is basically using him as a tool. I knew the confession was coming but I still can't tell if it's romantic or sibling like, it's 50/50. Let's see what the last 3 episodes will bring, if this will really be the most saddest anime of all time. I doubt that but, let's see. |

| Btw this anime is basically Plastic Memory 2.0 , but somehow tell an even worse story. It has all the issues of plastic memory, but what it doesn't has is an emotionally gripping side story. The finale of plastic memory is underwhelming because of how predictable and cliche it is trying to build itself into, but at least the side story is pretty touchy. This serie's side story are just a bunch of comedy , and only Izanami's backstory is good. |

| This show really suffers from a rushed storyline D: I feel like if Maeda had more time to flesh out the characters this would have been at least decent. Well and also less focus on the fluffy slice of life would've helped too. And also it's so predictable like damn... welp |

| This episode sure is getting depressing! I feel bad for hacker Suzuki. Never knew he was been abused this heavily in the past! But what I really hope is Hina will be okay! :( So, Suzuki Hiroto wasn't an antagonist all along, he's been used by the CEO to help track down Dr.Korogi's incureable disease research used on Hina! And it looks like Youta have finally confessed to Hina! Now what we need now is to save Hina from the CEO! :) |

| I cant believe that my prediction came true. When Youta said that he love Hina, does he mean he loves her as a friend because he also stated that everyone loves Hina? Am I the only one that doesn't cry when watching this episode? |

| A quite "meh" episode to be honest. All that melodrama felt quite forced to me. I really hope this doesn't turn into something like Charlotte where the ending was extremely rushed. I really do. |
| Oh boy, the reception for this episode is going to be really volatile. Suzuki finally got the information that he is chasing for so long. I love how they took the scene as metaphorical. The sea of information and the depth he had travelled to reflects to how he masters his hacking skills. Too bad that once again just like in the past Suzuki is subjected to another abuse and manipulation by the adults. And that was a huge tragedy for him, because now they know that Hina has a supercomputer chip handling all the information in the world...and that chip needs to be taken out. And if that is taken out...she'll die. Because the computer chip was the one thing that kept her alive for so long. That scene where Yota tries to escape with Hina is (cliched). When Hina tries to reason out with Yota and stops their run is (cliched). When Yota finally confess to Hina his convenient feelings "I love you" is (cliched). And he cried out (cliched)...that didn't hit different. Shite and I thought this is going to be Jun Maeda's saddest anime, that is up for debate. One thing to take away from here is that the top brass and private organizations are cruel as fuck. It's immoral on how they will take a normal, innocent girl for a chip that will "possibly" harm their reputation. Evil, despotic fools and Suzuki did regret his decision to unveil Hina. Looks like Hina's world will end and there was no more countdown by the end. As only a piano tune and a credit-only background plays by the end of this (cliched) episode... |

| So she's a normal girl with a fatal disease that's being held back by a super computer in her brain? Did I get that right? I'm assuming the removal of the computer will cause her to die. _codu_ said: Yeah... The I still don't think the series was really that bad... The only thing that is really bothering me is how well they built up Izanami's character, with its peak being in episode 5, and then start to almost push Hina and Youta together. I think I preferred Izanami tbh... I hope his confession really just was platonic! Agreed I prefer Youta and Izanami to be together. The way his family took Hina in makes it seems like a familial love instead of romantic interest. |

| I didn't really feel too much at the end scene. I don't know if was familial or romantic but Maeda should've done a lot better job building up their familial/platonic bond. The scene would've hit much harder then. 3 episodes to go but my expectations are pretty low. Looks like Maeda has lost his touch. |

| I dont hate humans i just hate adults thinking that i should be paying for their meds and that i cannot look for someone younger or else im a “torpedo” (minus the “tor”) oh and that they are abusive to their preconceived authority. more than ever I am so glad to be a closet hikki. edit: I'm just gonna say Jun Maeda went to the "safe route" and made the confession as absurd and abrupt as possible so as to not entertain the western whiners of "muh pedophilia". just like the previous episode commenters here. please write stories as bold and dark and unforgiving to SJWs as possible. and if you have to, write a scene that is made to filter out normies and riajuus. |

Technically a powerful enough computer chip might be able to replicate and control such nanomachines, have them disperse all over the body through the bloodstream and heal almost any disease apart from completely destroyed organs or say, brain death. |
| Suzuki’s role in this story finally gets answered, but learning his past and what he did for Hina in this episode (warn her), I can’t feel it in my heart to think that he is a bad guy. I liked the confession scene quite a bit. The color switch when Narukami hugged Hina was pretty cool and then when she was taken away then the fade to end credits was also very sad. |

So, hacker had a very shitty childhood, his parents used him for their monkey business of Phishing money in cyberspace and he was used by the organization to track down a quantum computer in Hina's brain, good thing that hacker guy is a good guy after all. Btw did hacker guy killed his not so good parents or did somebody did it? |
| Jun Maeda says: "Suuuuuurpriiiiise." I think it would be cooler and more sentimental if the endroll credits were in the rain scene. But it was a nice episode and made me tear a little. Why? I don't know, it seemed a little rushed to me, but... yes. Hope we are ready for what's coming next. |

| While a fully working quantum computer will be an incredible achievement, it by no means will be such a dramatic, end of the world type event. Still it is a very interesting concept to plant a quantum computer inside ones mind. The computer having the power to heal her is one thing, but just have access to that much computing power within your mind would be unreal. A pretty cool sci-fi concept tbh. Wonder what they will do with hacker guy. They pretty much dumped his entire backstory on us this ep. It's pretty rough but it at least seems like he's not getting abused in his current position. I assume he is being paid and that ceo is just trying to keep him from working on any illegal shit. But he def needs more resolution after everything they just gave us. |
