What's your guys favorite romance anime? I love the romance genre in anime since you can feel tons of different emotions that can't be always seen in all genres of anime. My favorite romance anime is by far toradora and maybe Golden Time. |
| if its a movie, i love kimi no na wa. Anime TV show, tsuki ga kirei because it felt so real, the awkwardness, the pauses, the becoming more open and brave slowly but surely. I too have experienced something like that so I can relate to that anime more than other romance animes. |

| Disclaimer: Nana is one of my favourite anime series of all time, and I know it's dubbed as a romance. However I never considered it a romance because Nana is so much more than that. My favourite romance anime so far is Lovely Complex, my favourite anime movie from the same genre is Doukyuuse. For the romance manga, first place goes to Honto Yajuu. |

Fruits Basket is the only exception out of the three above, since I like the main couple even though it's not the main main focus. |

But god damn i love that show. |

| Cross game is one of my favorite anime of all time and even considered a romance on MAL, but I don't really think it is a romance. I would say my favorite romance is Kuzu no Honkai because of it's controversial character tropes and messed up situation. I definitely didn't like it because I have some sort of guilty pleasure, but I honestly like it's bold statement and risk-taking ideas. My runners-up place would be yagate kimi ni naru or Hotarubi no mori e, and I plan on watching Nana which I've heard a lot of good things about. |

| Might be kind of biased, but I really like Ao Haru Ride. The character development, the feelings, it had it all for me. I guess since MAL has it as romance, The Devil is a Part-Timer. It's funny and a girl having a one-sided crush on a demon lord? Yes. |

| toradora remain as my favorite romance anime furthermore it was a show that i found in my early known an anime.. there are many genre romance show that are better out there...but in terms of development and mainy focus of romance, toradora is still remain the best in my heart.. |

| Haikara-san:only know the movies and not the anime show from the 70s but I love the two movies. Sennen Joyuu: The love for a man she barely knew and she always hoped to find again propels this gorgeous movie by Satoshi Kon forwards. The Red Turtle: For some reason this beautiful Ghibli movie (okay it was a coproduction) is not part of the MAL archive. A beautiful and fantastic love story. YURI!!! ON ICE! : For me the show is deeply romantic. |

| Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu if it counts, Bakemonogatari if it doesn't. Also Kare Kano, Kokoro Connect, NHK ni Youkoso and several others I could list. A lot of my favorite couples are from non-romance shows like Revy x Rock from Black Lagoon or Hawkeye x Mustang from FMAB but I like a lot of Romance anime too as long as they're compelling and entertaining. |

| ao haru ride, wotakoi not my most favourite but i think golden time and sukitte ii na yo deserve special mentions for their realistic and flawed portrayal of relationships. especially golden time, the MCs don't start off natural and with much chemistry but them as a couple get so much realistic development |

| If we're talking straightly romance, then it's definitely Tsuki ga Kirei; it just felt really raw when depicting the type of relationships middle schoolers go through. If we're also allowed to add comedy, however, then it's Ore Monogatari. I loved the shy persona that the protagonist and female protagonist displayed all throughout the anime. |
