This episode was good. It showed Bam thinking for once. And I think the director did justice to Hoh and Endorsi by giving them a lot of screen time. They showed how Hoh and Endorsi are one and the same, the only difference being one is weak and the other strong and how Bam becomes the connection point between those two reminding them of when they had a pure heart.

P.S. I think the director and producer is doing a great job in keeping the story as intact as possible. Sure, there are no sakuga backgrounds like Dr. Stone or fluid motion like MHA but an 8/10 is good enough for me. As long as we get a S2.

I wish same too. But if it come to picture then I hope that next time they give justice to it's action element.

So who wrote the letter to Hoh?

Is Bam the person Endorsi wants to climb the tower with or is it Anak?

Rak has already given a nickname to another character. lol. He is such a friendly guy.

I kind of wish Rachel would die, but her arc isn't even close to completing, so I know she'll live. I really don't understand why I don't like her. Though, I feel like I will hate her once she gets healed.

I am not very knowledgeable in medical stuff, so I may be completely wrong, but for a person to die immediately from a stab to the heart, shouldn't the weapon be removed first, letting the blood spill out?

Hoh died almost as fast as an extra. haha.

Have they told us what happens once you climb the tower? Since we are in the 9th episode, and I still don't know, I feel like I might have missed it.

This episode didn't have enough Khun! lol

Lol. I actually am reading the Manhwa as well, while also making sure I don't catch up to the anime. A lot has been cut out, and I am the type who gets slightly disappointed when things are cut. However, I want to enjoy this anime, so I am reading the manhwa quite slow.

well, they changed a lot of stuff but I'm still happy with the episode. they actually toned down the number of betrayals lol. nicely done if not a bit fast-paced. I literally felt that the episode was on 1.25x speed that I had to check lol

P.S: Also what you mean by silent man? it should be silent turtle. Rak addresses anyone only as a some-kind-of turtle. lmao

Idk how to feel.

Seeing that stuff was cut out(though I haven't read the Webtoon.)) but if that's the case, then it's kinda sad if some of the story was missed. Could've given more depth to scenes and more emotions.

But still, was good for what it was! Can't wait for next week!

I must say, I really wasn't expecting Hoh to be get killed. The moment we saw the blade in the air, I was %100 sure that someone would go into the "Yare yare, you really are hopeless" mode and save him by catching the blade. I like this darker approach where you just can't save everyone. I hope they will keep this darker tone and won't pull some resurrection magic bullshit out of nowhere.

The best episode so far.

But the Rachel thing is still annoying. Let them have a proper conversation or separate them forever. The author needs to make up his mind.

I loved this episode. Even though it still feels rushed a little bit, but the dialogues were handled very well. Ost was top notch, the cut content wasn't that important and the theme of the tower was delivered to the audience. Now as a webtoon reader, I'd have liked if they didn't cut that particular scene where Quant commented on Bam as it foreshadows his uniqueness and future powers. And also if they explained Endorsi's backstory as it was in the webtoon, I really liked the metaphors of the webtoon. The famous line of Endorsi about the fight between the bad guys also was omitted as the small betrayals were cut off. I guess I'm asking too much as it's only 13 episodes. Still not a good fan of the anime only scenes, they made Rak eat bars continuously but chibi Rak is damn cute. Overall I really enjoyed this episode. This episode gets a good 9/10 from me.

Yes, another week and another episode of Towe rof God.

Lots of things happened this time around, with Team B taking the Hideout Test victory despite the betrayals, and Bam and Endorsi working together.

Good episode as usual, and we can only wait for the next one (only 3 more episodes to go ...)

Another episode with pathetic fights and some weak ass drama. The animation is as pathetic as ever. We have no idea which players are where. We don't even know the layout of the map. Our Gary Stu protagonist masters a technique by just experiencing it once, wow. The Ranker is apparently quite old but he blushes over the sight of panties like a horny 14 year old. Lol. 3/5

We're this far into the show and it's still pretty meh for me, but this was probably my favorite episode so far. Despite whatever issues may have been present, the twists and tension were enjoyable to watch. I hope Hoh's death makes Bam realize just what he and everyone else has signed up for when it comes to wanting to make it through the tower.

Sorry but i'm disappointed with this adaptation, like big time. They keep butchering characters more and more. Bam's line with Endorsi was average. Endorsi herself was changed significantly.

Ranker Quant was ridiculed and spit on the most! He could've stopped Hoh and save Rachel himself, IN AN INSTANT, but he couldn't actually do it in the original, because the two were in a "safe zone" - a place where a Ranker is not allowed to enter - something that was completely ignored in the anime. Here, it seemed like Quant couldn't risk saving Rachel as if he wasn't fast enough to stop Hoh from stabbing her lol, that is ridiculously stupid. Also, he failed to stop HOH from killing himself for the same stupid reason - because in the anime he is apparently NOT even remotely fast enough to do that! This makes Rankers look like a joke; and Quant in particular is turned into a sad clown. These guys are supposed to be insanely strong, remember?

Wow that's a fair point. It's been really long since I've read the first season so I don't remember any details including those you mentioned. I understand how they decided to cut some scenes out to fit the whole season in 13 episodes but changing scenes like that really is unnecessary.

This episode was very bittersweet and the victory achieved here came at a very high cost. Bam has lost a bit of its innocence, Hoh is dead and Serena is having second thoughts about climbing the tower. The only reason Team B even won is because Endorsi was pulling everybody's weight, so props to her. The competition will become even harder from now on, so let's hope the characters are ready for whatever challenges might come next.

Okay im just bothered by one thing, the reverse flow skill shinsu animation is not what i assumed when i read it. Its weird and ugly.

But +1 they added new scene with Endorsi explaining why she eliminated all fishermen.

-3 for fight animation. Endorsi + Bam vs Quantz was more awesome in webtoon

Also that's not how Endorsi win tho, she win fair and square not by some cheap trick like lean to man's shoulder.

This anime really change some Endorsi personality.. what the fuck..

That...that was brutal and dark. I felt scammed when the episode was over, cause it didn't feel like so much time had passed in any way at all..
Bam just mastered that technique in a few moments holy, that administrator was shocked too. The administrator got duped twice in a row now xD, enraging and embarrassing oh god. And this does mean that Rachel won't be lying to Bam anymore, right? Khun acted like Lauroe sksk
There's more to say, but let's come to the real matter of this episode. You probably noticed I avoided it
Did Hoh seriously just commit suicide? I get it, he's got a fucked up past and seems to not be the best or strongest, but that can't be all there is to it, right? This simply HAS to do with Bam, right? What was he talking about when he said it was Bam's fault? Why would he have gone to such lengths as to murder Rachel? Why was he so desperate? What happened to him and what has Bam done in the past? That he most likely just doesn't remember?
Let's just say, the episode was fucked up. Khun's team will be shocked to hear about Hoh's death and I do feel like all of this just took a big step into the darker side and actually figuring out who exactly Bam is. Not just we viewers, but he himself too, obviously.
I didn't read the manhwa, so I'm full of questions rn and I'm absolutely sure few to none will be answered in this season, so I'm already praying for a second season┻━┻︵└(´_`└)

They deleted my best Quant Quote in the series when he was talking about Bam in the ep...
"It's an ironic story. Throwing away what's precious, giving in to their own selfish desires to even betray their own, but the One God has chosen is a child who cries over the death of a competitor not a friend. But if he's truly gifted, there's no way they could have continued together. No matter how small a baby shark is, it can't swim with the sardines. "
