| That rejection was to be expected, still it hurts me so much. Oh my god I’m literally so sad. I fucking love Touma, I wanted him to be happy, but of course things can’t always go the way we want them to. Looking forward to the last chapter, this was so sad yet satisfying. |
| I honestly didn't expect that as I thought Taichi and Futaba will remain together but I guess life has its own plans. I assume the two toothbrushes is an indication that they were living together before breaking up and not that Taichi is living with someone else right now. It would be ironic if the one Futaba is marrying is Touma but I highly doubt it. It looks like Taichi is regretting something but I hope it won't end with him trying to stop the wedding. |

| Wait what the next chapter will be the last??? Man, I'm gonna miss this series. I was honestly surprised when Taichi said he broke up with Futaba. But that was mentioned in a two year time skip so we have no idea what happened within that time. Then we had another time skip that lasted 5 years this time, and the only thing that was mentioned was that the four of them met up and Taichi talked with Futaba about the future. Now Futaba's getting married, but with who? Honestly I'm also confused by the last page because I have no idea if that's Taichi with his face changed or Touma with dyed hair. I would love for this to get an anime. I think the 54 chapters can be enough for a season or two. Or possibly a movie. But since it has controversial topics, it might not be able to get one in Japan. I still have my hopes up though. |

| Futaba was a good girlfriend, but I can understand her and Taichi breaking up. Marrying your first love is too unrealistic. I really love the way Taichi and Touma solved their problems. The drawings are just getting better and better! I feel like I'm actually there with the characters. Because of the double time skip that happened, and the use of narration instead of actual scenes, I thought this was the final chapter. Shimanami Tasogare had broken my heart by ending with no warnings, and I thought this did the same thing. When I saw the date for the next chapter, I felt impatient, but still relieved. After coming here, I saw comments saying this is ending. I went back to look at the last page again, which didn't say "next chapter", and instead said "Final chapter'. Now, I wanna cry. Still, this is the perfect place to end. :-( I hope Touma has a boyfriend and Masumi has a girlfriend. It's too sad otherwise! I hope Touma didn't end up marrying Futaba for weird reasons like "giving up". This may sound stupid, but a lot of stories have gay characters end up in straight relationships, and it's too painful to see. |
| I do liek te more natural feeling of this comign to an end, in retrospect I really don't see a better way for it to close. My biggest fear is obviosuly that touma is the other name on that invitation, I am hopeful however that Kaito won't go that roaute after years of buildup for touma coming out. (Praying its Masumi) OR it's just a weddding invitation and we don't know who shes marrying because most people 7 years after HS dont ever talk again. Theres always small details i never notice with the vignette panels! I'm excited though, It's been a really great time! |

| Touma asked Taichi to meet Futaba and Masumi to come to term with it for good, I guess that probably means Futaba and Masumi are a couple now and about to get married. i hope I'm wrong I still want Taichi and Futaba to be together |

Well, I can’t say that I expected a 7+ year time skip for this chapter, but I do like that it’s established now instead of suddenly happening in the final chapter, so the readers know better what to expect. With that said it does feel a bit rushed, and I think the author is going for a 'realistic' kind of ending here (as in high school relationships not usually lasting and so on). Not a fan of how the relationship development between Taichi and Futaba was just nullified in the span of few pages though, and I think that a satisfying ending would have required at least 5+ chapters here. In the last chapter it would be nice to know what all the main characters and some side characters ended up studying and what their lives are like now. For example, I would like to see how Seiya, Aki and their child are doing, whether Masumi was able to become a doctor, what happened with Mami and so on. Hopefully we also get to see whether Touma has found his happiness and a way to live (mostly, I mean it’s Japan) free, or at least discovered the path to reach that kind of lifestyle. Taichi has also seemingly come to terms with the current relationship between him and Futaba, but we didn’t get to know what his plans for the future are. Can’t tell if he is living with someone in that apartment at the end since he did say “ただ―…いま“, but I guess you could do that when you are living alone as well (most people would find it a bit weird though). I’m also interested to see what kind of person Futaba ended up with. If most of these points are resolved and the story ends on a positive note I could maybe even give this a 10. It feels like the story has been consistent and well thought out from the beginning and the author has been good at avoiding the usual tropes in this genre. However, since I was able to binge read nearly all of the chapters in the span of a few days I can’t tell if the progress has been too slow on a chapter to chapter basis for the monthly readers. |

| If I was to grasp at straws I suppose you could argue that the last few panels made a point of hiding Taichi's left ring finger and that the name on the invitation could be one of the names of who is being invited not who is sent it; it could be that Taichi and Futaba got back together all those years later and are now married and this is an invitation to someone else's wedding. |
| Chapter 53 was indeed a rollercoaster of emotions but I didn't hate the ending. It was actually realistic, not all relationships end with a happy note. Futaba and Taichi just wasnt for each other in the end. :( They just became each other's past. Im just excited for the last chapter but im sad that it will soon end T^T |

| I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something. People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |

| i wasn't expecting something like this, seeing futaba and taichi broke up really broke my heart, even if it's a realistic turn of events. teen relationships rarely last a lot of time, but this hurt me really a lot. it triggers that part of me that can't let go of the past and this really resonate with my inner self. i feel deeply sad. |
