Uhm, yes, I have fictional characters as avatars, but it's not sexual drive what makes me pick them. For instance the one here currently is Mafuyu from Given which I find an excellently written character and makes me empathize with his personal conflict (plus the pic is fun). I actually agree with you there, and always said myself that being sexually aroused by drawings should be as much of a natural thing as being sad or angry over them. It's just not something that happens to me (and it's not even common with live action fiction!). If it happened, it's in very specific sequences and never as some kind of continnuum that made me notice it. It's not like I have never been aroused by fiction, it's just not common in me for some reason and in consequence it's not something I pursue or am interested on. |
