| This season has started with 8.8 score, then it dropped a little, but since episode 5 it's been increasing again, and now it's already at 8.83 and it's probably not the end yet It's no surprise though, this season really is great, much better than the first one imo I'm quite curious if it will even reach 9.00 overall score What do you think? |

| Haven't seen this series yet but will get around to it eventually. Haven't read the manga either so I don't know what the ending to this season will be. But I'll say no. The 1/5 rule typically doesn't help one cour shows, even less so for sequels. Additionally, most of the people who rate while it is still airing tend to rate higher than average. Also, those watching it right now are likely the ones who enjoyed season 1 the most, and were thus in a hurry to watch more of it. It might go over 8.9 when it immediately ends, but you'll probably see it slowly dip afterwards back to the 8.7-8.8 range. But again, I don't know anything about this season or it's story direction. Most importantly, I don't what kind of ending it will have- which tends to have a large influence on the final score. |
| Doubt it. I'm estimating anywhere from 8.7-8.9, but crossing that 9th threshold requires the series to either be a sequel or not have any obvious flaws, and as much as I love Mob Psycho, there's nothing I can argue against people who hate its art or sermon. |

| If it keeps on being that good, yes. Some already pointed it out, some votes are nullified at the end of the season and many of them are low votes from people who dropped the anime and will never finish it. Usually, the score jumps up a bit or a lot depending on that effect, but it jumps up. Having said that, you never know, maybe a troll with bots will come to make the score massively sink and MAL is relatively slow to react on things like that. We'll see. |
| I don't think so. There will be later some people that will binge-watch whole season at once and also there will be ones that you will only watch 1st episode and drop it, but still they may rate it low. |

| So far it's one of the most consistently great anime I've seen. Every episode is extremely gratifiying in every aspect, from story progression, to production quality and outstanding character development. If it keeps up like this till the end I think a 9 is more than deserved. |

| At this point, probably if it keeps up the momentum. Jojo also I think might make it to a plus 9 score cause the 2nd half of that series is wild as hell and probably peak of the franchise thus far, but it also has a shitty final fight that could put it at a disadvantage whereas with mob, from what i can tell, still has a arc coming that is all around beloved |

JoJo is still better out of the two I think the most recent Season is the weakest in the entire JoJo series so far, but that's your opinion so ok. I believe that even tho I do not know what is about to come in the next few Episodes, realistically Mob has a chance of breaking that Score. It has the characters, the OST and THE ANIMATION. It manages to pull of multiple genres, WAY better then shows of a specific genre. It just does so many things right that I could on the spot not list you any negatives this show has, wheras a lot of other things I watched that are higher rated then MP100S2 at this point I could instantly tell you the flaws it's facing and why it might perform worse overall then MP. This show does not only do everything SO RIGHT, it also inspired me to get stuff done, atleast on a personal creative level, MP100 introduced so many interesting things that it I believe it would be hard not to take anything from it, I'm not a very creative person but MP always gets ideas in my head about things I never even thought of, not that this is something a show requires to be highly rated, but damn does it help, atleast for me personally. I am ok with the rating it is sitting at right now, but seeing Mob break a nice even score of 9 (or possibly even higher) would just be the diamond cherry on top of the already golden cherry. |
| Honestly, I think it’ll hit the 8.95 at the end of the Season, and a week or two after the initial boost in ratings, and then fall down to 8.75-8.85 by mid-Spring Season. By the initial boost in ratings, I’m referring to the people who’ll either eagerly binge it right after the Season finishes or those who’ll try to up the score however they possibly can in ways other users have mentioned above. Similarly, there’ll be people who weren’t the biggest fans of the franchise but still wish to give this a go with ratings varying from 3s-7s and such which would ultimately lead to Mob Psycho 100 II finishing off with a 8.8 according to my prediction. I don’t know what the remaining 4 episodes have in store for us, but I’m certain the quality of the show will retain to end things off on a high. If it’s gets better from here onwards though, I could certainly see it just about cross the 9.0 mark but I’m not betting on that. |

| Probably not, there is quite long climb there and it would require lot more people rating it 10 and 10 is quite rare number to give an anime. I mean i rated it 10, but I have less than 15 animes i have rated that so I'd expect others not giving it around too generously either. In other hand i think the ending will matter a lot, since i usually change my rating based on how good the ending was and I think many are waiting until series end to rate it too so based on how good the ending of the season is the score could rise or drop quite lot. Idk if enough to get to that 9, more likely it could drop more than rise. |

| Seeing how it has climbed from 8.8 to now 8.95, most probably yes. The real question is: if that's the case, would it to be able to maintain it in time? Most of the time high scores in the beginning -when the show is fresh- tend to eventually start falling, especially these days. |
