Yavimaya said: this may be a stupid question but has it been explained how Hyakki can use his prosthetic arms/hands? since his own arms are just swords, how is he able to use his hands, wrists, and fingers to for example hold a sword and fight with it? or is it just some ~animu logic~?
Is buddhist logic. He is using his ki. In the old anime he also has telepathy.
This anime got me crazy with such a fucking amazing episode. Like always I am hoping for the next one and that big encounter of Hyakkimaru and his father.
About Daigo I can say that he is an devil idiot and deserves the worst ever, die it's too little.
Good episode, that confrontation at the end is going to be wild in the next episode!
“I love heroes, but I don't want to be one. Do you even know what a hero is!? For example, you have some meat. Pirates will feast on the meat, but the hero will distribute it among the people! I want to eat the meat!” - Monkey D. Luffy
This time we get a tense family reunion. Obviously Daigo isn’t too happy to see Hyakkimaru alive and well. But I think Tahomaru is more conflicted. I really wanted him to join up with Hyakkimaru and fight against Daigo. But I doubt that’s gonna happen, or at least any time soon.
It's very ironic that Daigo was praised as some sort of noble and powerful demon slayer when all he did was sacrifice his kid to the very demons people thought he thwarted. I'm pretty sure that he was also desperate enough to "service" those monsters one by one just to get to where he is now if deemed necessary. It's also sad that they're thanking the Goddess of Mercy for blessing their lands without knowing that she sacrificed herself to save Hyakkimaru when he was born.
He had almost taken care of that Foxfire Demon but he had to get rudely interrupted by his dad. Tahomaru got some information from one of the midwives that narrowly escaped death by demon but he's lagging behind.
Shit's intense, I have no idea what might happen after this.
It's crazy how they got Naruto's actress to do Sukeroku in an episode that had the nine tailed fox demon featured, clever from their part.
I like the way they laid out the episode to focus on so many things at once, Hyakkimaru's fight, Daigo's doubt, Tahomaru's investigation, and the old dude that visited the hall of hell. Daigo, of course, has some evil within his soul, but is it enough for Hyakkimaru to straightforwardly attack him? Is Daigo that strong? Those and more others are questions I can't wait to find out the answer for.
Thought the series had lost its way based on the past episode, but my interest is piqued by this turn of events. Quite a cliffhanger we've got there with Hyakkimaru meeting his father.
Also that Pikachu shocked face meme expression Daigo's other son had about the reveal lol.
Omg!!! The headless goddess cracked QwQ
I thought she would be like regaining her head or something because Hyakkimaru is getting back his body parts while killing the demons but
Oh my ;-;
Nice family reunion with Tahomaru now knowing about Hyakkimaru (probably not the full details but daddy can explain it later) and Hyakkimaru finally meeting his biological dad after 16 years of separation, pretty heartwarming /s
The asshole father has found Hyakki and is ready to kill him. Son 2 is on the verge of Irving everything together. Dororo captured. Old priest finds the temple of doom.
Another fated meeting and its all coming full circle, so i'm wondering.. how tf will this stretch out further with so many episodes still left o.o
Behold of my awesomeness~

But my feels.
Another great episode. Tahomaru now knows a lot about Hyakkimaru and demon child. It is getting better with each episode. The lady got traumatized by that. It's no surprise.
