| Lowest I have given is a 2/10. I am willing to go to a 1/10, just the only anime I have seen that I would give that score to, I have forgotten the name to, as I didn't add it to my list. My scale is solely based on my enjoyment of a show, and nothing else. |

| For me it's a 1/10, I give anime that pissed, annoyed, infuriated and gave me false hope a score not out of logic and reason,but out of spite. Meaning if I look past the things that made me cringe it might actually be a good series. But well that is a difficult thing to do. |

| I pretty much use this scale for series I actually finished: 9 = A+, 8 = A-, 7 = B+, 6 = B- I don't concern myself with finishing anything that's boring me to death (cause I'm not fucking insane), so I'll give a 1-5 to anything I drop, based on the redeeming factors I saw in episodes I watched. A 5 usually indicates that I may eventually pick it back up with enough persuasion. A 1 is piss awful, no redeeming factors whatsoever. Movies, OVAs and shorts are fair game for any score. And I've only given one 10, because I've only seen one perfect anime (in my eyes, of course). Hopefully I'll give another 10 someday, but it'll have to live up to impossibly high standards. |

| Why are so many people here afraid of rating shows they dropped? If you didn't like it to the point where you stopped watching, doesn't that mean that you personally deemed the show as bad? I for one rate everything I watch, no matter if I dropped it or not, because not all the shows I drop are equally bad, and I want some way to distinguish them. |

| The lowest that I can give is 5 if I managed to finished the anime, but if I don't like the anime or got bored, I usually dropped them. I don't judge an anime when I didn't finish it so I don't give scores to the ones that I dropped. |

| 3 in my normal list. 2 in my hentai list. Something to be that bad to give "1" I dunno.. it has to be something really damn unique. For hentai I imagine make me throw up... for normal series no idea. |

| Lowest is 1 I generally rate anime I find "pretty good" to "masterpiece" between 4-10, so if I rate something a 4 it doesn't mean I didn't like it. I'm just a little more harsher on my votes and try to avoid the 7-10 trend. Obviously 1-3 is for the animes I found "very bad" or "average" |

| Lowest score = 1. Pretty much agree with the sentiment that not using the intended scoring system properly literally makes interpreting the MAL scores redundant or meaningless. I never pay attention to the scores. If 6 or 7 is the lowest one can dish out, then it just implies that high ratings mean jack-diddly-squat. |

| If you asking me what's the lowest score I ever gave that would be a 3/10 I gave to two animes. One is Kuma Miko with its grotesque ending (and the rest being borderline boring) The other is Ace Attorney's painfully disappointing adaptation. Horrible animation, trainwreck of a pacing, cutting iconic story points and not giving others justice and even retconing away things that affect the whole series. I don't know how the sequel is doing, but with how disappointing the first one was I don't feel like finding out yet. |
