Very little has changed, he can't get anything done because his policies are too draconian and he often refuses to negotiate even with his own party sometimes. |

I think Trump should look for more longsighted deals, he seems to be more impulse driven. Like, taking a clear rough stance with China over Taiwan. Not only is Taiwan democratic and peaceful, it is a keystone in the trading port in the Pacific, if Taiwan is overtaken, China will become more or less unstoppable. He should have given China a nuclear warning, to deter any risk. Taiwan might be "off the table", but, if nuclear options are on the table too, China won't risk MAD. I also believe he should listen more to his advisors, definitely, and not monger so much on Twitter. As a European, and you Americans don't have what we got yet, You should be very FUCKING glad, he's strong on immigration. Believe me, the kind of terrorism we have here is not something you want, and considering USA is hated by 80% of the middle least (compared to EU who has mostly neutral emotions there). You don't wanna go down that road. |

The tax breaks are nullified after 8 years. By that extent maybe you'd qualify it as a tax hike, but it's as it was before the break. The deductions which were doubled by the break also follow the same rules. Some obscure incentives were also temporarily cut which can raise taxes for a very minor few individuals, who are very extremely likely not poor at all. The tax cuts for businesses are just that, tax cuts, and are permanent. |

After a certain point it has to balance the budget or something. I posted a link to a well detailed summary of the tax plan in some older thread. Donald Trump is by far the biggest American embarrassment of my lifetime and has truly made me for the first time ever DISLIKE America to such a degree. Even Bush could not make me feel like this....and that fucking dipshit started two endless wars which we are STILL feeling the effects almost two decades later. Personally, I'm NOT down with this whole meme shit a lot of you seem to relish on (Trump Supporters). Memes ARE fun and funny....but NOT when the most powerful man on the planet is one of your shitty memes! And ultimately this is what it's ALL about. Trump Supporters LOVE the fact that Trump is hated as much as he is....the ultimate objective of a troll is to enact a strong reaction....and no one has done that better than Trump. Sooo...here we have Trump Supporters laughing and enjoying the fact we have a literal idiot who is clearly unfit to be president while the rest of us who take it seriously can't believe we have to deal with this shit. Anyway Trump is doing well by me. My investments have gone up considerably in the past year and I don't have to pay that travesty of an individual mandate. Crybabies keep crying. Another person that has clearly never seen SOTU addresses before. Go back to Obama's SOTU to see how many times the GOP would not applaud Obama even when he said things that CLEARLY were nonpartisan. This is just a game. Furthermore, if I had been in that crowd, I would not have applauded a single thing Trump said. Also, you seem to be an obstinate cuck yourself. Why? Are you being serious right now? "Cuck"? Really? I'm just saying this is how it always goes, whoever the president is, the opposing political party will play partisan ball the entire address. Hell, I remember in Obama's final SOTU he said "This is my last SOTU" and the GOP immediately clapped and yelled with joy....while Obama laughed and gave a clearly sheepish grin at the reaction. This is how it's always been. |

For the amount of FUD Alex is spreading around about Trump, I am pleasantly surprised American still haven't deploy their concentration camps for blacks and immigrants, a stock market crash and also WWIII. |

This is how it's always been. No, I haven't seen other SOTU addresses. My basic take has always been to show the POTUS respect even in the face of disagreement. There were lots of non-partisan moments for the Democrats to take part in and they decided to do what you just told me: "Furthermore, if I had been in that crowd, I would not have applauded a single thing Trump said." You're being obstinate for nothing more than to make a statement that ultimately achieves nothing. It just makes you and the Dems look like sore losers. |

Oh maybe, maybe it's the clothes we wear The tasteless bracelets and the dye in our hair Or maybe, maybe it's our nowhere towns or our nothing places But we're trash, you and me We're the litter on the breeze We're the lovers on the streets Just trash, me and you It's in everything we do It's in everything we do |

Maybe because MS13 originated in our country instead of being brought to the US? lmfao what the actual fuck? what kind of mental gymnastics did you do to reach this logic. ms-13 was literally formed by central american immigrants in the 80's. El Salvadorans and other Central Americans immigrated to the U.S. and formed the gang. If a bunch of Germans moved to Thailand and formed a gang there, then the gang would have originated in Thailand. I don't know what kind of mental gymnastics you are performing to think that your race determines where your gang is from. Edit: The gang members themselves may come from wherever, but the place that the gang is formed in is the origin of the gang. It's the same thing as an immigrant forming a business in a foreign country. |
