| It makes sense, the point of that anime was to advertise the LN, and it did its job perfectly. Konosuba is selling loads of copies. When the LN sales start slacking, then S3 would be announced again. |

| Why are people freaking out? I thought it was a rule of thumb that hope for a new season should be low. People got spoiled that an S2 announcement came right after S1. If the author wishes for future collaboration then all hope is not lost. Accept the fact that new anime season being yearly is rare and don't start jumping to the worst scenario just because it is not coming now. |

| I enjoyed season 2 as much as season 1, although the animation/art didn't seem as good as season 1 but maybe that is just me. I'd like to see another season, but one of basic rules of being an anime fan is never have the expectation that the anime will get another season. As you'll only set yourself up for disappointment in the long run. |

| Late to the party here, but I found reading the Light Novel more entertaining than watching Season 2. Season 1 was waaaay more funny compared to it's sequel. Idk why but something just feels "off". Kinda sad though, I need more Megumin in my life  |
