I do think Jump Special stuff should be considered OVAs unless they aren't physically released, the Jump Festa screening should be considered a pre-screening. (In Boku no Hero's case, I think the OVAs should be split anyway because of the content, even if the physical release date is after S2.) Some mod agreed with me on this last year and one of the Gintama entries was changed accordingly but I don't know if anything else was done to these entries afterwards. The problem is that the anime has a total of 11 episodes and two OVAs. One OVA is a filler while the other one actually ends the story. That is what has caused the confusion, the DB has the filler OVA separately but not the conclusion OVA and its title is there in the episode list as number 13. What's even more confusing is that how does the episode list have 13 episodes? Should be 11 as it doesn't have the filler OVA. According to my "research", it seems that the 12th episode (The conclusion OVA) has been duplicated, two names differently written back to back as 12 and 13. I submitted name changes and synopsis changes without realizing two were OVAs. If the episodes 12 and 13 both are removed then I can submit the 13th episode/OVA separately like the other filler OVA (https://myanimelist.net/anime/1817/DearS__Kin_no_Tama_desu_no) The episode list has to have 11 episodes. The so called 12th episode is duplicated, and is an OVA, so it should be in the database as a new entry. |

It was set 10 years after the fight with Majin Buu, where they hold a tournament and also show the reincarnated Uub. GT is set after these events, hence it's a sequel. Super is set between the Majin Buu and Uub Arc, that's why it is only a side story. It's not important here, if Toriyama was involved in GT or not, because it's an official Dragon Ball release. |
