| Fuck. This is why I avoid watching animes like this while it's airing. Alright, no more Attack on Titan for me until it finishes. That fucking mystery about Eren's basement better be mind blowing and worth it cause I've been wondering about that for four years there better be an entrance to Narnia or a cure to cancer or something. |

| @Draknalor Wiki in my own opinion is cheaper than reading a manga, in the manga at least I’m looking at the panels, dialogue, etc. In wiki is just a wall of text... like I said I want to see all animated, voice acting + music score, that is why I'm not using blogs, wiki and the manga to know all of the mysterious shrouding this title. | This episode was cool. They didn't find a hole in the wall so the titans appeared might be the people lived in the villages (im just guessing, I didn't read the manga so don't know what's happening). Anyway hyped for the next episode. ^_^ |

The picture is there to show how he can seal the Wall with the hardening ability. Now, it's not a matter of if Eren can do it or know how to do it or not. Levi himself said it in this episode that given the circumstances, Eren must succeed on sealing the Wall with his Titan power, by learning it one way or another (which will obviously be explored later on in the story). That aside, I hope people would avoid spoiling anything else from the manga (or at least just use the spoiler warning) since this is anime we're discussing. Though since this will only have 12 (?) episodes then I might end up reading the manga some day... but some who just want to watch it probably won't so ssshh |

Are they keeping them for the following episode under the form of flashbacks or were they completely removed? Who knows, in any case it was a pretty awkward directing choice in my opinion. Hopefully that will keep them up-to-date to these kind of info like you posted instead of missing them in the ep discussion thread and making a fuss over it. |
| Anime watcher here. My theories so far: Ymir is a titan with some sort of influence/power over the other titans. Since Crista is somehow tied to Wall Titan conspiracy, it makes sense that Ymir wants some sort of influence over her. I think they made it rather obvious how the Titans are made in the village scene. As stated in Season 1, the titans have no reproductive organs, so they clearly can't mate to reproduce. The village scene combined with the fact that Eren and Annie were both capable of turning into Titans through some sort of drug enhancement leads me to believe that someone who has great influence is creating these titans. The motives of this still remain a mystery to me. Ah the big monkey guy. He is definitely interesting as he can communicate with their tongue. My guess is that he is a higher evolution of a Titan from some distant land (he doesn't know what the Maneuver gear is, so he isn't from the area). What his motives are or his purpose is unknown to me. That's my speculation! |

This is a spinoff. this isn't a spinoff, it's following the manga almost exactly, and attack on titan imo would be not as good with flat side characters. if all they did was focus on the main trio we'd eventually get bored of them, but no, we get a big cast who are either developing or will be developed in this season as well as the next. i get what you're saying, this season kinda feels unfocused so far, but it's one of my favorite arcs from the manga, and the main characters will still have their time to shine. and it definitely won't be boring with these coming episodes, too. |

I knew it. That titan is his mom. The motherfucker said, "Okairi/Welcome back home." OMG. Team Leader Rico is hot. I like her more than Mikasa now. Mikasa is fucking boring and annoying with her "Eren, Eren, Eren, Eren, Eren, Eren." obsession. "I'll do anything for Eren." "Eren is my everything" "I want to suck Eren's cock." Mikasa is awesome when she's fighting titans but her love for Eren makes me gag. I'm glad it's more toned down in the second season but who knows. Things are getting more exciting |

| ape titan can climb (oc, it's an ape after all). no hole breached, it mean the ape titan might be the one who turn the village into titans since he can also talk like human. so it means they have been killing Connie's Village the whole time. I was wondering what Ymir do with Reiner behind everyone's back? why Christa suddenly become very important figure. she looks innocent to me. |
| So the pastor still don't want to speak about what he knows. Even with Levi threaten him. So Armin was right about the wall. There are titans inside and the surface consists of the hard titan alloy. I wonder why this material doesn't disappears like the titan blood or the bodys. In Connies home no one was to finde but damn that titan really seemed to be his mother. But why and how is this possible? The other thing is that none of the scout troups found a hole in the wall. This giant beast titan climbed that wall up without any problems. Also why are the titans active at night? And why are they attacking exactly utgarde castle. This must mean the beast responsible for all of that. So Christa knows the things the pastor can't talk about? How? And what's up with Reiner and Ymir? What were they talking about? I have so much questions it's crazy. GOD DAMN >.< And now Eren, Mikasa and Armin are on the way to castle Utgarde. That will be so good. |
