| I don't know about my most or least favorite, I cannot really compare my favorites, and I can't remember all my favorites to pick a least favorite among them, and I forget most of the bad ones. All said, my most recent favorite slice of life is Natsume Yuujincho, while I do have my fair share of problems with the series, the pros far out-weight the cons, it is one of the series I would never want to see it end. I'd be very happy if someone could recommend me some anime you feel like it, and please do not mention Mushishi. |

Need I say anymore? Haganai - Terrible characters, too much fanservice for a romcom and a crappy ending. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren - Some shows do not need a sequel. Thank you for showing me that Rikka is too immature to be in a romantic relationship, and undoing all of the character development you did for her in the first season. Enjoy your dirty money. Yuru Yuri - No, thank you. Glasslip - Is there anything to actually like about Glasslip besides maybe the art? Kyoukai no Kanata - What are you doing, Kyoto Animation? Character abominations (I'm looking at you, Mirai), bad story and boring to watch. [u]Other Slice of Life Shows I'm Not Very Fond Of:[/u] A-Channel - One of the most boring shows I managed to complete AnoHana - Melodramatic and overrated. Not completely terrible, though, I will say. Hanayamata - So boring I couldn't finish it. Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? - So boring I couldn't finish it. Lucky☆Star - Boring humor and boring characters. Toradora! - If you asked me to write a generic romcom setting, it would come out something like this. Also Taiga. Sora no Method - Forced melodrama. Forced melodrama everywhere. |

| It's hard for me to pick favourites as I like a lot of them about equally and it depends on my mood. Usually my favourites: Key: Clannad/Kanon/Little Busters! (EX not included) I pretty much like the story music and most of the characters in all of them. Non Non Biyori because it's rediculously funny and the setting and scenery are great Aria, because of the setting and the way the show is presented and Akari/Alicia. Notable mentions: Shinryaku! Ika Musume and Lucky Star I can't really pick a least favourite because I drop all of the ones I dislike or can't stand. I think I've dropped over 10 of them and the list will keep on growing so I don't think it has any use to list them here (besides I'd rather forget about them all together :D) |

| Favourites - Barakamon: interesting characters and setting. was filled with so many great lessons - Ouran highschool hostclub: really funny with lovable characters and honestly never in the slightest had a single boring moment (that's really something!) Least favourites - I dont really have any I disliked yet |
| Favourites: Azumanga Daioh (the weed), Nichijou (the LSD), Working Least favourite: Toradora (because Taiga), Clannad (was expecting a lot... probably too much) On the fence: Aria (it was pretty enjoyable at first, but... too slow for my tastes, kinda boring after a few episodes), Little Busters (the characters are better than Clannad's, but they're still pretty annoying most of the time. Still better than Clannad though) |

| Best Clannad After Story - Classic, emotional as hell Aria the Origination - Loved the ending, huge improvement from prior seasons Chuunibyou S1 - Characters were fantastic, chuuni is super entertaining in general Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou - Amazing gags Kanon (2006) - Similar to Clannad, albeit slightly behind it Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - Perhaps the most crazy drama I've ever seen. Also shares characters with Muv-Luv Little Busters Refrain - Saddest story ever. Not as good as the VN mind you but still great Lucky Star - Konata plus Kagami makes this a gem Nodame Cantabile - Beautiful, Nodame was awesome Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki - Pure tranquility, fantastic life story OreImo - Loved the otaku culture atmosphere, characters were great Saki - Without a doubt the most addictive SoL anime I've ever seen, Saki is a terrifying monster :3 Toradora - Taiga is awesome, ending was close to perfect Yuru Yuri - Great humor, even better characters Worst Kanamemo - Everything sucked Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) - Fucking Endless Eight -.- AnoHana - Textbook example of how to absolutely not write a tragedy Byousoku 5 Centimeter - Nothing. Ever. Happened. Kyoukai no Kanata - Worst ending I've ever seen Non Non Biyori - Made me fall asleep A-Channel - Tooru was good but everything else was bleh Aria the Animation/Natural - Atmospheric but way too slow-paced for me Barakamon - Just wasn't funny to me Candy Boy - As much as I like Yuri, in this one basically nothing happened Isshuukan Friends - Liked the concept, execution was really bad though Mushishi - Incredibly repetitive So Ra No Wo To - Pretty boring most of the time. Ending was unexpected though Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru - Please stop trying to copy Madoka already, alright? Everyone that tries it just keeps failing miserably |

| The Best ☆ Aria series - one of the only anime where every single episode is a SoL adventure in itself. So many important messages, perfect atmosphere, amazingly likable characters, best SoL soundtrack, most emotional anime ending ever ☆ Mushishi - the way it handles life itself is outstanding. Nature and atmosphere to completely immerse in, and Ginko just doesn't get boring no matter what he is doing ☆ Non Non Biyori - best countryside anime, fancy art and soundtrack, Renge as adorable mascot ☆ Kino no Tabi - a few episodes are amazing in their philosophical approach. Nice pair of protagonists ☆ Usagi Drop - my #1 SoL recommendation for everyone. Enjoyable by all sorts of anime watchers. Emotional ED song ☆ Great Teacher Onizuka - characters with profile, in contrast to most anime of nowadays ☆ Hanasaku Iroha - paradise for nano.RIPE enthusiasts such as me. The setting of an inn is also something new for a change ☆ Lucky Star - my favourite moe comedy, both in terms of characters and content ☆ Little Busters: Refrain - inferior to the visual novel, but still one of the best stories about friendship ever told ☆ Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki - my favourite SoL movie, and again, my fondness for countryside settings knows no limits ~ ☆ a special mention for A-Channel and its really cute collection of insert songs The Worst ☆ Strange+ - Trash^3 ☆ Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san - this humour is so weird that I couldn't stop not laughing ☆ Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren - most disappointing anime sequel I have ever seen, literally everything gets worse ☆ Glasslip - a show about nothing, but was still able to found an own religion ☆ Natsume series - some parts of it are part of my definition of boring, right after Nagi no Asukara and Glasslip ☆ Yuyushiki - I never believed that a school comedy could ultimately annoy me, until I've seen this show |

| What are your favorite Slice of Life shows? I have too many to list, but here's a good start: Azumanga Diaoh- I love the characters. The plot. The zaniness. It introduced "waifu". Chiyo's dad is best. Beck- The adventure is really solid. I enjoy the characterization. Daily Lives of High school boys- really good comedy. Lucky Star- I didn't know what to think about the show after watching the first episode.... but then all of a sudden it was really addicting. I loved the theme song, the characters, lucky channel. The silly live action moment. Now that I've watched even more anime, I bet I'd appreciate it even more. Yuru Yuri- Hilarious comedy, 4 girl dynamic, rum raisin ice cream! What are your least favorite Slice of Life shows? Clannad/ Clannad After Story- It felt like forced drama. The first half was really generic to me. The Miyakawa Family's Hunger- Ughhh. A spin off to Lucky Star about sisters who are really poor and talk about the struggles of being poor : ( Yuyushiki - I just couldn't get into it : ( |

| I want to experience as many anime worlds as possible, thus I can only watch so many >40ep anime at the same time. Usually I end up wanting more too, but getting there is some work for me. |

| I put it on-hold after 2 episodes, and based on what most of my friends are saying, it won't get much better. I'll watch eventually to convince myself what it's all about. |

| I haven't seen as many SoL shows yet as I'd like to but as of now it's: Favorite: Aria - setting, characters, atmosphere, music (pretty much everything) Wolf Children - setting, music Usagi Drop - characters and simply one of the most enjoyable shows ever Mushishi - originality, Ginko is the boss GTO - humour, Onizuka the boss Least favorite: 5cm per sec - bored me, unsatisfying ending but great visuals Glasslip - more Jonathan pls Nichibros - had some funny gags but overall not too great Nichijou - not my type of humour at all, dropped Haruhi - Kyon was the only good character (well the other male guy was likeable too but didn't shine) Hyouka - the most boring show I've seen - dropped, too bad because I really liked Oreki and Chitanda Edit: I just noticed it's not a listing thread, added reasonings |

| Honestly I didn't mind her at all, knowing how serious otaku cases can become based on other series or reports. Though if it's your first time seeing such an otaku in action, it's probably becoming bizarre... |
| Yeah I never had a problem with her either. The otaku archetype isn't a bad one by any means I think, it leads to quite a lot of entertaining situations indirectly due to all the anime culture references etcetera that it leads to. And if it's the tsundereness that's the issue, well sure, but it's not like tsunderes are anything remotely unusual these days so I reckon everyone should be more than used to that personality already at this point.. |
