DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I think that woman has some a weird hair style hmm We get a miko theme episode which is kinda different from some of the usual episodes. Mayoi looks adorable btw in her outfit. The buildup of the mystery seemed somewhat interesting especially that cliffhanger. Glad to see the case revolve a bit more about Mayoi. |

| Nice OP song. Quite catchy & the visuals for the other upcoming cases. ED song is not bad as well. Well Harumi is adorable. Sweet that she wants to help Naruhodo with the case. Poor Mayoi the Prime Suspect in another murder. Back to where Naruhodo & Mayoi first met. Looks like he is going to take on another Karuma. Next week the trial. |

| Ace Attorney anime is still Ace Attorney anime being the Ace Attorney anime, i.e. it's fine. The new OP is far, far better than the first, although...it shows a couple of interesting things. I'm more excited for this as I vastly prefer the story of Justice for All to that of the first game (including the Big Top case), so looking forward to seeing what they do. |

| I actually quite like this new opening. Way better than the first. Lots of Derry art in this episode. Especially with Dr. Grey. Poor Maya got arrested again lol Pearls is pretty damn adorable. Ed with her and the animals is cute. Although I still prefer the first ed overall. Franziska hype! |

| They skipped weather reporter girl joke again. Byrde case is also skipped. Dancing Blue Badger is shown in the ending? That only exists in the Rise from Ashes episode which is skipped. Green rock krypton is for next episode I guess. |

| thank god they didn't adapt the tutorial case where Phoenix get's amnesia. interesting first episode of the next adaptation little weird with the animation again. Can't really say too much without spoiling it but I am not looking forward to turnabout big top I like the new op though way better than the first one in my opinion. |

I guess but can you honestly say you wanted it to be adapted? I mean I love the idea of phoenix getting amnesia and trying to solve a case the problem was it was poorly executed in the game and I doubt it would be adapted well. |
| Looks like Maya is in some deep shit right now. Lets see how Nick holds up against yet another von Karma. Lol it really does seem like Detective Gumshoe is the only detective around. And what the hell was up with the animation on the part where Nick and Lotta were sneaking around? It made me laugh since it caught me off guard, but I'm wondering if that was done intentionally or if the animators just got lazy. |

| This is my guess; There are two culprits who were working together. one from inside the village and one is the guest. the one from the village, i'm assuming is Mayoi's aunt and the guest is the girl who is the girl's who got car accident and died little sister. Obvious there are two keys to the chamber. the real on was in Mayoi's clothes. and the duplicate one is in the tool to burn things (i don't know it's name) which that little girl found. Mayoi's aunt telling the guest who is resting in the back of the mansion that she hides the key inside that thing. The girl took the key and bam. but it still doesn't make anysense to me cause when Naruhodo broke the door to see what's going on inside, Mayoi was already holding a gun which makes it harded to belive that she didn't kill him. but it's not 100% fix yet that Mayoi did kill him. There were two shots, one missed. and one stab. for the stab/knife, i kinda doubt Mayoi did it cause there was no knife in the chamber. there was only gun and it was inside that old man's clothes. so i'm assuming the one who stabbed him is the guest. but i don't know about the gun shot. overall. interesting case as usual but it's a little bit predictable imo. let's just see what will happen in the next episode. looking foward to it. the new op is better than the previous one imo :D |

| Chronogically the tutorial case happens after this one, so they can still adapt it later, but then again neither Maggey nor Wellington show up in the opening. It's only a problem if they decide to make Trials & Tribulations season, because spoilers. If they won't, then skipping it is all for the better: this episode alone got a far better pacing than the entire first game's adaptation. |

| There were two people in the car. One survived. Hmmm. Main suspects are the aunt and the sister of the dead nurse. The child shouldn't be involved, otherwise she wouldn't give Naruhodou the key and be surprised. Also much cringe at this line: "Mimi's spirit did it." He knew that the key wasn't in the room at the end. So how in the world does he assume that it's a spirit? It neither helps Mayoi mentally nor is it a logical conclusion. If the key moved out of the room and there is no duplicate (which we assume, else this whole investigation is meaningless), then somebody had to be in the room and they killed the man. ... And what follows is a sadist prosecutor with a whip. My god. |

| Uhhhh... I had almost forgotten about this lifeless piece of shit of an adaptation This episode had slightly better pacing than the first court, however being slightly better than shit isn't much of an achievement so that doesn't say much  |

| The new opening is very good, sounds more like what a Ace Attorney opening should sound like, as it incorporates elements of the original soundtrack into lyrical form. Using the police station's mascot in the ending is ok since they skipped that case. |

| The animation got slightly better imo except for the abomination running Nick and Lola screenshot above XD Yep can't wait for my favorite Prosecutor, Franziska Von Karma <3 I hope her whip will reach Phoenix just like in the game. Can't wait to see Phoenix got whipped in a court room (ˆ▽ˆ) I liked the new ED more. It's so peaceful with Pearl and 3 animals, kinda like Momotaro minus the monkey. Was that Akita Inu..!?? So cute~ |
