| This was the most intense sadistic anime episode I've ever fucking seen, like holy crap. I wish I could give this a higher score than 5/5 because it deserves 10/5. I'm literally in love with Rem now, like holy shit she is best girl for everything she went through to save Subaru. The atmosphere alone made this one of the best episodes of any anime I've ever seen, but the execution alone made it even better. Like this is quite literally on its way to becoming my favorite anime of all time. Dat ending with Puck though...holy fucking shit! |

| That cliffhanger ending was just last week's cliffhanger ending AND the beginning of this episode all over again except with snow. Plus, we know Subaru is going to reset, so I don't care that anyone died. |

| Meh, felt like I was watching sadist porn, at times. I guess this was the wake-up episode for Subaru...again. So apparently beetlejuice saw through Subaru's attempt at feigning insanity or something. Perhaps a convoluted defense mechanism of some sort like how I caught stomach aches when confronted a few years back? And his words were an attempt at pinning blame for Rem's torture and subsequent murder on Subaru's withdrawal. I guess to torture the boy? After Rem's last ditch effort to free him, he goes back to the mansion (I'm assuming at a much later time due to the snowfall) to find roughly the same result has come to pass. He discovers the ultimate form of my ungroomed dog ripping through the upper echelons of the mansion, which promptly kills him telling him to sleep along with his daughter, who is likely Emilia in some fashion. I would've assumed he would've used the word plural "daughters" if he had been referring to Rem and Ram, even in the sense of relationship, rather than blood relation. He wakes up again, presumably relieved he once again has some chance to save everyone with a new fire in his eyes, possibly anger. It was ok, I guess, better than watching Subaru's headstrongness, though very justified which the episode makes abundantly clear to him and the audience. Emilia was conveniently left from the pile of bodies for a purpose. Guessing (well not really guessing since someone opened their big mouth) that creature is Puck and the freezing was an AOE spell created by puck and/or Emilia, which would ultimately engulf the castle. Probably irreversible at that point or Puck was so grief stricken he killed/put Subaru out of his misery. Maybe Emilia is actually related to the witch and the trauma unlocked her full power (like the Avatar state?). Didn't stop her from dying or crossing over to a point of a personality chance that was irreversible like an extreme form of Inuyasha's demon form when his sword is shattered. Perhaps that's what Puck or whatever meant by "sleeping". Meh, I dunno, seems interesting, too bad it took this long to introduce all of this. Might just skip a week or two so I don't have scrape my ass against the edge of my seat or feel slightly disappointed when an episode only goes so far with the rewinds and all. |

| Few more things, the first appearance of Beetlejuice genuinely creeped me out. After that he was pretty much annoying, I kept asking when is he going to shut up so we can get to the main course, which was the inevitable torture porn that made up this episode. As I stated before it was sad not to see Emilia included in the suffering. Yeah, I know I'm a tad fucked up for that but one of the things going for this show is thew fact we get to see bad ends without swapping out MCs and flat characters. Though I will say it just felt kind of cheap through this episode, though I get what they're going for. The villain here is an asshole who isn't above torturing maids and wiping out entire settlements. Subaru is going to suffer whether he stays put, like many have suggested and he's gonna get it even if he tries to make things right. What matters is how he learns from these experiences to keep these things from happening...the torture and suffering of moe characters. I guess I'm mildly interested in the former and slightly enticed by the latter, though that don't need go all out for the same emotional effect but, whatever, I know what I was getting into after like episode four. |

| ep so crazy yet amazing and my god seein Rem getting killed like that and plus that ending with the snow and all was amazed with this ep but on another note this is why this series is so amazing cause it doesnt hold back and i love that sad but amazing ep, really cant wait to see what happens next |
