It started soo good, i was so happy that he went back again, and this time he changed a lot of things but he forgot that the assassin could be watching them all this time so he may know where Hinazuki is hiding... That cliffhanger omg!! :( And once again a new episode ends in a cliffhanger and we will have to wait another week? How i am supposed to live with this? Show me all episodes now xD Gigarit said: My heart can not handle this. I am yelling too much at my screen. You were not the only one, that ending... |

It's probably his guess because once he returns to his own timeline he's going get charge for murder/cause fire etc. which is probably death sentence (going down the same route as all the other victims that the murderer had set up for them). But how can he get the death penalty when there's no concrete proof he did it? Unless simply touching an already dead body is suddenly enough. The police are dumb. The knife was from his kitchen therefore it would definitely have his fingerprint on it. The time of death and his appearance matched too. Then the text sent to airi from his phone and the fire... This episode had great storytelling and the Kayo x Saturo scene was cute. That cliffhanger tho?!?!? Just a thought, but could that person be his Saturo's mom? I noticed she saw Saturo leave in the middle of the night so she probably followed him? Things are getting really hype! |

LOL quite a few people seemed to be bothered by A-1's dramatic adaptation of the second revival. They actually just did that for dramatic purposes and to shorten the scene. He did not yell and go back out of sheer willpower in the manga. In the manga when he sees the killer among the police he gets a first contact |

This has to be the worst cliffhanger so far (in the best sense of the word of course). Great episode. Satoru didn't hesitate for a second and started to make his moves as quickly as possible in order to save Hinazuki. Satoru x Hina moments were too damn cute btw... |

How professional is that.) Besides what kind of idiot would do that text thing anyway. What's his motive? Why kill Airi? Why kill his mom? There's no history of aggression either. The knife is from his kitchen because duh she was killed in his house. Fingerprints on the knife provides zero proof if it's from his house. Everything has his damn fingerprint. So a murderer isn't smart enough to use gloves and use a weapon in the house to kill his victim? "Points to him" sure, but it's too obvious and suspicious, the way the cops are acting is dumb. The fact they aren't questioning it shows just how well they do there job. I stand by my opinion. These police are dumb. The only thing suspicious is that he ran away instead of calmly facing the situation so he could plea innocent. |

That is: Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade works, One Punch Man, Attack On Titan, Death Parade, No Game No Life, Sword Art Online... the list goes on. Rarely do any anime nowadays live up to the hype it receives especially what is considered Anime Of The Season. This is not any different than the others. I do not have much time in my hands to write anything more than in-conclusion. Erased is an average, yet massively overrated show with bad writing, plot holes, contrived conveniences, and predictable setups. It has the style of modern anime like good animation or good character designs but it doesn't have enough substance to be considered good. Its incredibly bizarre and unrealistic. The whole there has to be a hype show and designate AOTS thing. Like we have to segment off and comparmentalize shows into 12 episode chunks of hype or not |

I think the person behind the abductions is Satoru's homeroom teacher, and that Kenya is his accomplice. I remember that Kenya was seen talking to the teacher towards the end of one of the earlier episodes, but that scene wasn't developed, which lead me to believe that it was a hint to something that would only be revealed later. I think that Yuuki also has some sort of relationship with the teacher, which is why he's implicated. Well, maybe he's just a genuinely nice guy who was looking out for Kayo... Albeit in the fashion of a creepy stalker, but I'm inclined to believe that there existed some sort of agreement between him and the killer. In this episode, the teacher is seen contacting someone, and the scene cuts out after he says 'yes, please'. It's likely that he called up Kayo's house, but then the 'Yes, please' right after identifying himself doesn't make any sense, leading me to believe that he contacted another party. Right after, the shot crossfades into another of two streetlamps that appear to merge with the teacher's eyes as the shot changes. I believe this has two obvious visual implications- the first of which is that he has eyes outside of school- in an informant, which is likely to be Kenya. The second jibes at the fact that anybody can change their eye colour with tinted lenses, and is what I believe gives him away as the culprit, as the killer seems to be recognized by his distinct red eye colour. Furthermore, his voice seems like that of someone older in the episode where he follows Airi's scooter in his fancy black car, and his hat covers his hair- hair that I believe would be greyed with eighteen years of aging. A horribly cliche twist would be to give the killer the 'Revival' ability as well. And I hope the show doesn't go for that, although it would be interesting if that was Kenya's role, using either Yuuki or the teacher as a proxy. However, it's a very unlikely alternative to the theory I've established above. Just curious--for what reason in your theory do you think that Kenya would become the accomplice to this plan? I know it's not a primary concern to think of motives, but rather look at evidence first, but this is actually a very applicable question. From Kenya's discussion with Satoru, the boy has keen eyes and, yes, would be a very good informant as you describe, however he mentioned how he saw Kayo's bruises and wanted to do something about it. But he had not done anything about it. I think the boy has demonstrated genuine concern for Kayo, and him feeding information to the teacher doesn't seem to make sense. When Kenya talked to the teacher, yes, of course that raises suspicions however that was also in a different timeline. In that timeline, Kenya did not have Satoru to talk to and Satoru is now giving Kenya information. It's possible that when he spoke with the teacher Kenya was asking for information about Kayo since no one else seemed to have noticed and he wanted to do something. This is quite plausible. The teacher may also have been using Kenya to report to him without him being an active accomplice. I remember vaguely that the teacher also told Satorou to keep things between them (not to tell other children) when Satorou reported Kayo's abuse. Maybe he persuaded Kenya to 'help' Kayo too, by reporting anything unusual he saw. |

So he could be wrong but it's simply his gut intuition. He has to take the situation with a sense of urgency since its impossible to count on getting another chance. LOL no Revival doesn't work like that. This is the main problem with anime people, they understood the part as if it was "intentional". This is the answer:- ttcchen said: Many seemed confused about satorums revival ability. Lets make it clear, in this anime, he canNOT control his ability. In this episode the directors purposely made us believe that he can control this ability by making the revival happen right after satoru shouted "go back!" But last episode we already saw the butterfly before satoru's breakdown, meaning the revival is gonna happen no matter what, not caused by Satpru's "willpower". It was explained in the first episode that revival only happens whenever something bad is gonna happen. Satoru's mom got murdered, triggering the revival. Hinazuki got killed, triggering the revival. And now, Satoru's going to jail, triggering the revival. The ability use was very consistent. I don't see how some can't understand that and think the revival is bullshit. :( |

Satoru back in the Science center or whatever it was I think it's about time they gave us an explanation of his powers, it's a massive plot-hole. He seems determined to succeed this time which is good because I don't wanna see Hinazuki-chan get killed and beaten up again. At the end of the day though, Satoru is still 29 but he seems to have feelings for Hinazuki which is something apparent. You can see it. Little fucka is crying whenever he sees his dear people, it's a good thing and natural. Kenya showing his perceptive ability, he's onto something and he's feeling sad that he couldn't do anything but Satoru came in and started something. Now Kenya and Satoru join forces! Hinazuki getting more and more attracted to Satoru by the passing time which is good development. The kaa-chan knows what's up That Sensei is definitely involved or he IS the killer. A good episode again and next episode is gonna be HYPE. I think the man who barged in on the bus was Yuuki-san, it looked like him to me. Or it could be the Sensei or even the goddamn mom. |

Zero! And Nakamori failed to catch KId the phantom thief for...what? Over ten years?? He never succeeded, not even once. And he fell for the same trick over and over again. Honestly. At first I was leaning towards the teacher being the culprit (Since very early one). But then I begun thinking that it was too obvious because the foreshadowing was just too plain. But now I think that the killer was Kenya all along. The main criteria: Satoru's mom knows the culprit. That obviously narrowed it down to the teacher (among other things). But on hindsight, that doesn't exclude Satoru's friends (Because the foreshadowing on Kenya was weak, but it's been getting stronger, specially with this episode). Now, he's shown to be a very mature and calculated individual for his age. Therefore, him being a cold blooded and calculated killer isn't out of the realm of possibility. Also, he's been known to have had a close eye on both Kayo's and Satoru's actions. I can think of several reasons as to why he'd become a serial killer/kidnapper. One of them might be that he's a yandere. Oh well, I'm 95% that Kenya's our guy. We'll see I guess. |

I genuinely think that Kenya has, so far, demonstrated sincerity as a friend to Satoru and has demonstrated that he has a not only a keen sense in general, but of justice. I don't possibly see him purposely contributing to the situation in any way, not at least from what we have been presented about Kenya so far. m-i-c-h-a-e-l said: Satoru gave Yuuki an alibi; then "kidnapped" Kayo; so Im guessing this time when he fastforwards to present time, he'll be blamed for the elementary murders as well. My thoughts exactly. If the person that did enter the bus was indeed the killer, then the situation is set up for him and Satoru will obviously be the one blamed. I mean literally did all the preparation work for the killer. Kenya is suspicious as hell with his out of place behaviour which goes far beyond and above of "smart kid". What is important, he knows about Satoru and consciously tests it, he keeps appearing in critical moments actively intervening with Satoru actions - pushing the Kayo's mom would be perhaps bad, but it would drastically change the timeline and most likely put Kayo's out of the town (and thus out of the killer's range) Then, back in the bus wreck, Kenya was only person who knew about the hideout location while not being the victim in whole story. Beside Kenya, only Hiromi (another victim) and Satoru himself knew. I believe he is somehow connected to the revivals and goes "nope" against the actions that would amend the timeline in "non-approved" way. |

I suspect him as much as I suspect the teacher In the same way like Satoru, when he helped kids with paper plane. The truth is that there is no way to predict who was that. It was shown in such way that it could be everyone. You don't really know how big that doors are, so it could be Yuuki, teacher, Kenya or even that bastard from Kayo's house. And btw I don't think it was female character. >no way to predict who is the killer. Absolutely wrong, lol. Just go at "who is the killer" thread and you will find the answer. There are 2 or 3 posts offway, but most of the people got it. XD The anime is giving gazillions of hints, not to say that the mystery is kinda obvious. It will be interesting to see reactions when the killer is known. I said WHO WAS THAT. I didn't read manga and I don't know who came to the bus. If it was a killer, than thanks for spoiler :| |

Does he actually know its the last chance as a fact or does he just guess its the last because it just seems unlikely he can keep trying. I assumed the latter. Everything points at him. He has Airi's phone though, she gave it to him so the police wouldn't see it (although mind u now he's caught with the phone on him but still why are the police ignoring her statements as if she's deranged or something. Well theres a thing called "guilty until proven innocent" in japan. You havent seen the worst of it. Many animes show just how dumb japanese police are (no offense here). Take Detective Conan for example. They can't solve a case without Conan's help. None! Nada! Zero! And Nakamori failed to catch KId the phantom thief for...what? Over ten years?? He never succeeded, not even once. And he fell for the same trick over and over again. Honestly. But on the bright side, the police in Death Note are quite brilliant. I laughed a lot. Police in Death Note are as incompetant as the ones in Detective Conan, they can't do anything without L. Only Light's father was somehow useful |

The whole concept of "Revival" is just stupid. The anime is giving way too many hints, so much for the mystery factor. I'm gonna laugh my ass off if the killer turns out to be who I think it is. |
