Nagi no Asukara  (hit)
Glasslip  (shit)
Shirobako  (hit)
Charlotte  (mediocre shit)
Kuromukuro (can only hope it follows the trend and become another hit)

Edit: forgot about Haruchika but it's basically another Hibike! Euphonium so it'll likely be another miss.

Hibike! Euphonium was a hit, boy.

Haruchika will be nothing like Hibike Euphonium nonetheless. It will be a mystery anime, so more in the vibe of Hyouka.

I hope it's a horror anime that has the same atmosphere with Another but not as shitty as its story.

TopKek Comment for once someone has noticed

OT: I have my trust on this work since the Director had worked on DtB and Nanatsu which both had positive reviews at least + P.A. Works, I know they can pull this off.

Err Sunrise, the studio that has based it's mission statement around producing original anime. The only non-original they've done in the past 3 years going back to Binbougami-Ga out of multiple formats is Gundam The Origin which technically they created anyway.

Based on the fact that this is being a directed by a guy that normally works out of A-1 I'm going to go ahead and assume this is another Aniplex production who last time gave them Charlotte and has been on a run of absolutely terrible originals since the pretty decent Kill La Kill out of Trigger so I think people are right to be concerned here.

P.A Works doing another original anime? Better not be another "Charlotte" with that fucked up pacing in the end.

Ooh, PA Works? Will watch. I can expect some good visuals on this one but I'm kind of worried about their previous shows, most have been mediocre (Angel Beats and Nagi no Asukara). Okamura was also the man who bombed the Ao no Exorcist anime so I have warning bells going off in my head.

PA Works has done some good work too.

Their work on Nagi no Asakura and Shirobako outweighs the shit originals they made such as Glasslip and Charlotte (you should really be blaming Jun Maeda for this, I expected great things...).

Anyways, let's see how it goes. At least their animation is great and consistent.

I'm slightly unsure what I think because I loved their SOL ones, and would love more of that of course.

But I'm definitely going to watch this, as they're my fav studio. I hope we find out more soon! :)

Back to the topic, P.A. did a good job with Another so I can only hope for the best.

Another was (probably) their worst anime. I'm not talking about art (but in manga art was better too), but story (second half to be precise). It was disaster imo.

Well, Another has actually pretty good story (light novel, or even better in manga), but anime was not worth watching, especially if you read manga or LN first.

Don't do that. If you like Key, you will be not disappointed.

EDIT:
With your favlist... rather don't watch it. Why you even wanted to watch it? o.O

Interesting, that’s all I have to see about this right now…. Hyping it’s just a waste of time.

Anyhow, this will be either a hit or miss, like any other anime original works out there.

Another isn't even close to the worst anime that P.A Works has created.

It would have to be shittier than Glasslip and Charlotte to take that title.

Back on topic. I will watch, because PA Works is in my top 3 favorite studios.

That's only your opinion. With that said, your opinion is wrong. Glasslip was too shit to even finish & Charlotte was indeed a major piece of shit.

As I said before. Opinions. For me Another as a adaptation was a disaster and Glassilp was far better. I still don't understand the hate, it wasn't a masterpiece but as SOL series it was pretty good - it's like you guys never watch any SOL, then accidentally picked Glassilp and start the hate (I hate hate word, but in this case it is really a hate). Same goes to Charlotte. It's like you never watched/liked Key stuff and then accidentally picked Charlotte. It was not supposed to be a action show with tons of bullshit action, cynical MCs and/or world domination. It was typical Key stuff (of course not that good, or rather not even close to their VN adaptations like Kanon 2006, Clannad or Little Busters, but still nice and enjoyable) and I've got what I expected.

I've watched more SoL than you have and I still think it's shit. Glasslip was bland and downright horrible, probably the biggest disappoint for PA Works especially releasing this original right after their fine work on Nagi no Asakura.

Charlotte could have been good but Maeda's "depression" and shit tier script brought the show down to a nothing but a joke. Doesn't help that he said that it would be his way of redeeming himself for the rushed Angel Beats anime (which is miles better than Charlotte).

At least Another had a decent plot and knew what kind of a show it wanted to be. Glasslip had no sense of direction at all and Charlotte was rushed to the max with a joke of an epilogue.

15th anniversary sounds promising, actually, I'm calling it, it's gonna be a hit.
Glasslip was the most disappointing piece of shit ever, the biggest waste of time, while charlotte, although the plot was shaky at times, it was certainly popular.

I liked it too. Still, nothing amazing, but very enjoyable. Beautiful art and music + op/ed.

The only one anime which I really didn't like from P.A. Works was a Uchouten Kazoku.

"black corpse"...
Are they expanding their general style? The only "dark" pa works I've seen was Canaan, a decent gritty seinen. I heard Another was a comedy, like most horror animes.

Mal posts don't matter that much, considering Charlotte's high score, top3 in vol1 sales, and 1st in cumulative average sales for summer.

Here is where I would normally tell you not to let other people influence what you watch, but it really is bad.

How? 2nd link averages multiple volumes, not surprising it's lower than vol1 sales. It's older so missing Symphogear etc, but otherwise gives an idea overlord, charlotte, monmusu, working etc did sell well.

I really hope for a next Drama Seinen Adventure like the Wolf's Rain OVA by Okamura. This would be great with the visuals of P.A. Works we have seen in Nagi no Asukara.

I think 2016 will be a great Anime year with 'Boku dake ga Inai Machi', 'Under the Dog', 'SnK S02', 'Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel', 'your name.'.
I hope 'Steins;Gate 0' and 'A Silent Voice' will be airing in 2016 too.
