Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

I rate it a 9/10, mostly because of the DLCs and the patch. In the main game, the level design and the bosses were mostly weaker than the first game (while in the DLCs they were amazing), but I still dig the lore a lot, it's being even harder for the community to uncover its secrets than in the first game.

F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin.
I loved the horror aspects of the game, they were genuinely terrifying, and Alma scared the crap out of me on more than one occasion. Additionally, I loved the progression of the story and following up with Alma, learning her past and what her motive was throughout the game. Definitely one of the best games I have played as of late, and I'm looking forward to playing F.3.A.R (have the game, waiting for my friend to get her copy so we can co-op this one).

Fallout 3 :

7/10

not enough weapon/ammo variety, over half the perks are useless, dlc breaks the game. vanilla ending is masseffect3 level of bad and bullshit. otherwise it was a fun game, bethesda really know how to create a world. It becomes repetitive after a while though, but that's the problem with all bethesda games, their game last so long because of the vastness of the world but you end up doing the same shit over and over.

Hitman Blood Money, 8/10

The game is/was fun and hard at the same time, Levels are pretty complex and It was pretty sweet feeling to see your plan working perfectly. I've only seen 2-3 walkthrough on 3 missions so I had a gist of what to do but since it was a long time ago, I've forgotten on some of the stuff to do next.

So it was still enjoyable since I had to figure out on my own on what to do next.

The Order 1886 - 4.5/10

The superb production value (visuals and sound effects being the highlight) is there, but the rest is just bad.

I'm probably never going to play this again.

Nier. 7/10.

Despite the rating, I absolutely loved it. You know what they say about Yoko Taro games: "They're terrible, but they're absolutely amazing."

Basically, everything other than the gameplay and graphics (which typically ranged from passable to bad) were great. I especially loved how everything came together at the end.

Last of us.

The first four hours were boring but it's a game that grows on you. The game play was good but could use some improvements.
I never played online because I didn't have a new copy.
The connection between ellie and Joel was done well.

Far Cry 3 PC - 7.5/10
Single Player is fun but gets repetitive, it's go there, kill this guy, take that, mission complete, kill animals, get plants, craft craft craft, unjam those really annoying towers, although liberating outposts is kinda fun, is also kinda annoying that they don't try to capture it back.

Co-Op is boring and repetitive. (And broken)

Multiplayer lobbies are broken, the game has some hackers, but it's really fun when it works. Also the community built maps bring freshness without the need of DLC, except that some people abuse the feature and build either really tiny maps with bad spawns leading to the worst kind of spawnkilling, or really huge maps where can't find anyone.
Also MP doesn't have vehicles, personally I think it should.

Just finished Tales of Xillia 2. Late to the party on that one because my PS3 crashed about 20 hours in (maybe 6+ months ago) and then, due to real life, I didn't get a chance to fix it and re-play the 20 hours I lost until recently. Overall, maybe an 8/10. Tons of mixed bags here, but battling in ToX2 as Ludger was super fun. The downside is that, unlike Xillia, where you had a decently equal incentive to play as every character, Ludger is just better and more fun to play as. Still, great game, and slightly better than Xillia IMO.

Ori and the blind forest 8.5/10

Great soundtrack and even better visuals, the platforming feels good as well, though there are a few weird difficulty spikes it never becomes too hard. Only real problem is that after completing the game your save locks, so make sure you collect every upgrade before entering the final area.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

While the story was interesting, due to the fact I played A Link Between Worlds before it, I had a faint idea of what some things were and what they did, along with the general layout of Hyrule/The Dark World. Some of the bosses were pretty annoying in the Dark World dungeons...then there was Moldorm, who alone makes me have to give the game a 7.5/10. If it wasn't for the cheap way Moldorm gets all his health back when he knocks you down to the previous floor, then I would rate it higher. That and the fact there aren't as many ways to get to the Dark World from the Light World.

Alan Wake - 9/10

Starting out not expecting much, I was surprised from the overall quality of this game.

The controls are good, nice atmosphere, the TV Show feel was cool, good mechanics and the cutscenes seemed very high quality.

The ending was pretty lacklustre, but other than that a great game.

You mean like from beginning to end for the first time? Cause I've replayed a lot of games recently cause the new releases SUCK and HD editions don't count.

I guess my last blind playthrough was Freedom Wars for PS Vita and it was pretty awesome. I would give it a 10 but it needed at least 3 or 4 more enemy types, so I give it a 9.2. Gameplay is SOSOSOSOSOSO MUCH FUN THOUGH

I haven't beat one in a good while since I suck at finishing games for some reason, but the last one was replaying Super Mario Sunshine. I'd give it an 8.5/10 mainly because of nostalgia reasons. Other than some really fucked levels here and there that are just bad game design (screw that boat hopping yoshi level man), it's a very easy game, but it's still a lot of fun using FLUDD, and I love the vacation asthetic of it all.

A faithful remake of an original game, you can tell time and love has gone in to this game. I've loved playing it, my only issue was with the controls and the collision detection. Which as times felt lacking.

The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past

Easy 10/10, played this all the time as a kid on my GBA, very ahead of its time for originally being on snes and still holds up decently to modern games I feel. This time I've played it on WiiU. One of those games you can just relax and have fun with. If by some cosmic chance you haven't played this game, PLAY IT! It's the shit!

Front Mission: Evolved (PC) - 5/10

This game is not good. I'm very disappointment about Front Mission: Evolved and it's abandoning the turn-based tactical RPG like Super Robot Wars. This game is kind of rip-off to Armored Core. Also the mission campaign was too short (took me about 5 hours to completed).

Though I didn't "complete the game" in literal terms each path contains enough material to be it's own game.

The last half of the game was very exciting and I can see why people say the VN is superior. My only real qualms with the game were the cheap "rock, paper, scissors" luck pattern with the choices that lead to your death.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
This was my 4th or 5th time playing through it, and goddamnit it still holds up. There's not much actual story in it, but I love the world and the graphic style (GBA game from '03 and it still looks great, even when it's all stretched out on a TV) and the dialogue is really funny. One of my favourite RPGs, and definitely one of the best games on the GBA. It's on the Wii U Virtual Console (it's how I played it this time) so go get it and enjoy!
I give it a solid 9/10

Xenoblade Chronicles
I didn't actually play much of it, because my friend was using my New Game+ save to run through the story, but I was there the whole time. It was my second time going through the story in the last 6 months, and I kinda wanna just pick it up again and do a 100% run this time. This has quickly become one of my favourite RPGs of all time because the story is just awesome, and there is a lot of gameplay and the world is unique (you live on top of a dead giant!).
Almost a perfect ten at 9/10

Metroid Fusion
As a fan of the Metroid series, I'm embarrassed to admit that I had never finished this until today. Last time I tried, my cart broke (it was a this SD card adaptor/emulator thingy for my DS) near the end of the game. Got it for Wii U now and plowed through it in a couple of days. I don't know if all this RPG gaming has made me shit at action games, or if this is really hard (combat-wise) compared to all other Metroid games! It was pretty good though. Just makes me wish for a new proper Metroid game, which, it seems like, we won't be getting anytime soon...
I'ma give it a 7/10
