But in fact I believe Owari no Seraph is just a mix of the previous two works of the author: Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi (Vamps, lolis, female fanservice, school setting, generic) with Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu (action, yaoi vibes, monsters, magic, lots of deaths/ destruction and mostly angst). | That was a pretty intense episode. Dark right off the bat, with the vampires appearing from nowhere? And imprisoning humans as their life stock and fundamentally not giving any shit beyond that fact since they are at the top of the food chain and can do as they please. Takahiro Sakurai sure knows how to make creepy villains, so much it is creepy O_O. Well gonna enjoy this now that the series is gonna transfer to a new location, that God knows how it survived the epidemic. Oh well I trust everything shall be explained and battles be shown. |

| Good introduction, it's rare in a Shonen, to see characters die in the first episode. I like the animation and the art, the battles will be beautiful. |

Or he could just have followed the angsty cliché route (like in vampire knight lol) which is: he wants to die but instead gets turned into what he hates the most against his will. A wounded dying twelve year old kid wouldnt be able to do anything against a super strong vampire. Imo, I dont think any vamp knows about the prophecy or they definitely would not have let Yu escape no matter what. |

| Those death flags like skyscrapers about half-way in. Definitely some major Attack on Titan vibes from this, in several ways, except that this show's "Armin" didn't make it. The pace was freaking fast and I was like "What?" when like 40 seconds in we see everyone dying and everything exploding. Michael Bay would've been proud. |

| Ehh first ep. I would rather have an introduction episode in the future fighting some vampires than boring backstory episode. The bit where he shot the vampire was quite good though but I could do without the tragic backstory bait (the orphans) |

| Okay, this was way too similar to SnK, but I won't call it a rip-off, and as a SnK fan I'll like this show even if it was a rip-off! The episode started like "fuck introductions, let's get right into it!", I'm not complaining though, one thing that bothered me was the music... they played the same soundtrack for too long, and it was quiet and didn't fit the intense moment when that noble is killing the kids! they should've changed it to something louder with a thrilling tone! Anyway, I have a feeling that this is gonna be the show of the year for me, and I'm so glad there's gonna be a sequel, but I hope it doesn't disappoint me like Aldnoah.Zero. |
| Well this is the first anime I've watched where I read the Manga before the watching the anime and the only thing that got me ticked was.....well, okay not really much of a spoiler, but the girl in next episode's preview preveiw in the manga her hair's supposed to be dark blonde, right? Why'd they make it purple? |

| There were points that I didn't like at all. It seemed stupid to me like they all just went and try to escape all of a sudden without any proper plan or when they all Anyway, it left a good impression on me, I really liked most of the scenes+Yuu's seiyuu ^^ |

| Soo...it is something similar to SnK and Black Bullet but I liked those and I'm sure I'll like this one too. First episode was good but I'm sad that there is no OP/ED for now. I also made AMV on Owari no Seraph. It starts as nothing special but picks up fast.
