Mystere said: Hmmm... the graphics and sound were once again top-notch, but the story wasn't too interesting. It was quite refreshing to see more of Azaka though. Btw, does anyone else think that Azaka looks like a spitting image of Rin from Fate/Stay? Azaka Wow. I never noticed that. It's just like how Canaan is like a white-haired Shiki. Rin |

Fev said: So in January 1999 Araya appeared again. Therefore my question: Didn't he die in KnK5 when he said that he doesn't have a spare body prepared? The scene at the end is a prelude to the next movie which will take place in an earlier time line. More accurately it will take place somewhere between the 2nd and 4th movie time. |

1st impression Hearing the word Fairy made it sound like a mild version of the whole series *showing the half body of the villain made me curse the heroine that Ouji was the one behind the incident, I think it was a wrong move by the producer. But to think 2 of them was involve compromise everthing but still.. Using music to prevent hearing God's Word curses, clever 7/10 |

Holy shit... the cannibal boy at the end is awesome! The fairy story was kind of short and unspectacular but not bad at all. |

6/10 it was fine, but it was lacking to much thing... I still don't understand why people find it to be the worst. IMO, the 5th is the worst of them all, no contest. |

The movie was quite entertaining and Reien Academy was a beautiful scenario but I felt like something was missing. And I'm not only talking about the less-interesting-than-usual mystery. I also mean it literally - we're left without knowledge of how the fight between Shiki and Kurogiri ended and if she regained her memories or not (I think she probably did, though). Still, a 8/10. |

Yeah, this was lacking in every aspect compared to the rest of the series. Though I did like the last couple of scenes. |

- Too much moe. - Azaka was annoying, but kicked ass in the fight (Thank God - at least she wasn't useless.) which makes the fight the highlight of the movie. - Storyline wasn't all too interesting. There are enough brother complex stories out there. (and seeing how they left out stuff from the novel reading previous posts, that's pretty much fail.) - The resolve of the mystery didn't leave much of an impact of on me. - Not enough dark elements. This movie episode jumped completely out of the row. I wasn't even emotionally touched much ha. Seemed like too much of a filler. So overall, its entertaining and enjoyable enough, but still meh. Sound and Music + Animation and all was still top notch though. A 7/10 from me. |

What just happened? What happened to the Magus? Were Shiki's memories restored. Why wasn't the Fairy girl in control of her own powers? Is Souren still alive, or is that a puppet, or was the ending scene in the past? I'm so confused. |

SeraVerte said: Shiki's memories were restored. This is especially obvious on the retail subs (the fansubs make it ambiguous as hell). Ouji, the 'Fairy Girl', only held the power to control the fairies until they rebelled on their own, I thought that part was pretty straightforward. Araya Souren is dead, that part was a flashback that elaborated a scene that we've witnessed before. If you pay attention in past ending credit scenes, it kept hinting on one more suspicious character that Araya had approached along with the other past antagonists. It's only now that it's revealed that this loose thread is going to be used in the final movie. What just happened? What happened to the Magus? Were Shiki's memories restored. Why wasn't the Fairy girl in control of her own powers? Is Souren still alive, or is that a puppet, or was the ending scene in the past? I'm so confused. What happened to Satsuki (God's Word/Godot Word the magus) is left ambiguous in the film. Touko hints that his plan was merely foiled, but I hear that in the novel that the Ouji (Fairy Girl) actually gets her revenge against him. |

must sa i didn't enjoy this one as much as the other 5, i mean after the fifth installment i didn't expect it to be beaten, although the animation and sound was amazing as usual I think it was just the whole story that didn't do it for me this time, but nonetheless very watchable and still an amazing series cannot wait to get the 7th watched :) |

A disappointment after the excellent 5th movie. It had a totally different feel starting with music and the moe elements, like this one was in a totally different genre from others, much lighter. It felt like fan fiction to be honest. It was like Madoka Magica crossed with Maria-Sama ga Miteru. One weakness of this series is that it tends to bring into focus characters that weren't introduced properly in the past. I think Azaka had a scene in the previous movie and another in the 3rd one but it still came as a surprise that Kokutou had a sister in the first place as those scenes are easy to forget. And now suddenly she becomes a main character. I haven't read the novels but the whole thing seems typical of series in which a minor character is used in novels much more but in the series mostly forgotten because of time constraints... and then when that character is brought into focus it feels like the series has been sidetracked. |

@Feorg I don't blame you, while I enjoyed this movie for what it was, it still surprised me considering the more light-hearted tone. To be fair, they were actually 3 separate novels, therefore the story was actually divided into three Acts. Act I is actually Movies 1-3, Act II is Movies 4-5, while Act III is Movies 6-7 with the Epilogue included. I think with that in mind, taking the series that way actually makes the most sense. Another way of taking it is like the post I made above: The first 4 is Season 1 while the 5th movie is more like an OVA/Movie whereas the last 3 is more like Season 2 (though I'd say Movie 7 is still a pretty strong finale despite being less grand than Movie 5) |

As much as I didn't like this film as compared to the others, it was still pretty good and I felt like it provided a much needed break after the epic mindfuck of Mujun Rasen. I don't know if I could have physically handled this movie being as amazing as 5 and 7 were... My brain might have imploded and I'd end up in a mental ward claiming to have clairvoyance or some other equivalent power. |

The plot was a bit weak but still enjoyable. For sure after all the other movie with that heavy atmosphere, blood and death, it was a refreshing movie, with moments of tranquility and entertainment. The visual was great though. |

It wasn't so bad, but it wasn't as good as the others. Also, music in fight scenes was awful in my opinion, fast pop-kind of songs really don't fit into this... |

I wouldn't exactly say......pop-kind. Though admittedly I think the best music used in the fight scenes are definitely in the 7th film (more heavy violins and heavy chanting harmony). |

i didn't think it was bad (but all the others ones are better, for sure). . . but that was mainly because halfway through the fights started. tell me something though. . . . the part at the end with Araya Soren. . . .isn't he dead?!??!? |

Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

Obviously weaker than the other movies especially coming off that incredible 5th installment. Music was almost non-existent during the first half and that kind of made the dry plot drag on for me. Still, stunning visuals which I'm used to seeing and good BGM although as I said, less prevalent. |
