| There we go. It's done. First 15 or so episodes I actually quite enjoyed it. After that it turned into complete mess. However, it was a fun mess. I'll be honest, I watched it every Sunday as soon as it came out, so that must mean something. It was bad in many areas, but it was still fun. 5/10 An average show with quite a few flaws. Also, <3 Esdeath. |

| I salvaged what I could in the final episode. Honestly though, looking back at this anime was Akame the main character then? o_O Feels like I didn't see enough of her through the entire series to say that she's the lead. Really enjoyed the series when it was following the manga but then the story derailed a bit. Some unnecessary deaths etc. |
| Wow that actually ended pretty nicely. Most 24 episode animes have to rush it to compensate for not having 26, but AgK managed to pull it off. I don't read the manga, but I liked what I saw overall. |

| Meh, episode 22-24 actually had me wanting to watch immediately after release rather than waiting for days to watch in the earlier episodes, I'll give this series a 7/10 This anime original ending wasn't so bad imo, I mean it could've been way worse. So rather than bashing it, I appreciate that they actually tried to make this somewhat of a decent ending. |

| I find it laughable how many times a character has yelled something directly to another character, but the other character is definitely out of hearing range. Minister had an imperial arms that destroys other imperial arms, fuckin troll. anyway, i still stand behind my 3/10 for this garbage. |

| Glad it finally ended. It deserves a strong 3 or a light 4 I think. The anime overdid it with many pointless deaths, one of them being Leone. Why did she even have to die? She could colaborate with Najenda for the kingdom or continue the assassin work. Esdeath deserved a more painful death, can't believe they trashed her bloodlust-ish character by dying with Tatsumi in her hands. Akame should of died too, although she's the main character but such thing is irrelevant in this death party anime, so I guess what this anime missed the most was Akame's death. What were the cons of using that technique? None, just a blood spit and that's all.. Bleh It started off greatly and ended terribly, thanks White Fox. |

| The way they killed leone was so stupid if the minister could do that shit in the beginning of the series he could've screwed night raid over just by breaking their toys...I mean teigu. I am happy than Run or Ran whatever floats your boat was alive as well as bold wife an kids. Also lol at the three girls from the manga they're lucky the anime didn't adapt that chapter just to screw with us. |

| MEH. It was 8/10 til the 18th 19th episode. 6/10 overall for me. I'm so sad for the Akame Ga Kill manga fans. Akame is not such a charismatic character, IMO. It would be better if everyone have died. |

| I've always thought this show was average from the start but when it went the "anime-only" route, it just flopped. I actually liked watching this, as it felt nostalgia, almost as if I was 7 years old, enjoying my Saturday morning battle shounen but like, at one point it started making less and less sense than it already was. I'm not into analyzing anime but one thing that definitely could have been done better were characters and shock factor. Something like Attack on Titan was done better in every way because the character deaths weren't just 2 minutes of screentime and then death. I couldn't remember most of the characters (other than Chelsea, the green haired guy voiced by Kirito and the gay bro guy) that died because they were too one dimensional most of the time. Another problem I had from the start of the show was the mixing of light humour/comedy/fanservice with serious episodes. It just doesn't work... I'm slightly motivated to read the manga to see if it's better though. tl;dr could have been done better |

| i dont care that it went anime original I FREAKING LOVED IT. I CRIED WHEN TATSUMI DIED LAST EP AND I CRIED WHEN ESDEATH BLEW HERSELF UP IN THE ICE THINGY WITH TATSUMI. i kinda want a sequel. Now that the army is all well and done, blah blah, new kingdom,etc, i'd like an anime/manga where it once again focuses on akame, after the revolution. personally i think it'd be awesome to see once again, akame, either by herself or maybe finding a new group or so, and they are tasked/choosing to eliminate the last of the corrupt in the kingdom. i cant wait until the manga finishes, but i'll probably cry even more when it does. oh well, 10/10 for me, i loved the anime original route, because its different to the manga. anime and manga are 2 separate things. unless the manga pulls some crazy sh*t on us at the end, where it leaves it with too much material left undone, i doubt we will get a remake, purely because the author of the manga was supposedly working on the anime too. does anyone know if we will get any OVAs? man, i wish we could get a season 2, or just more akame! i would have liked more backstories on the characters however, everything seems to pick up then and there, throwing a little flashback explaining their reasons for doing what and so. they never really spend a whole lot of time doing backstories..oh well WALL OF TEXT I KNOW |

| Wtf was that end. I really liked the anime until episode 19. I would give an 8 or 9/10. But this last 5 episodes fucked the entire anime. They just started killing everybody. Even Esdeath was killed. And the hell is wrong with her dying like that, really dislike it. Akame alive until the end was unexpected. I was thinking that she would die together with Esdeath on the final fight. And i really can't accept her as the mainchar of this. The only part that i liked was the emperor dying. I liked it until a moment but maybe this could be 6/10. |
| I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy this anime. Like others have stated, there wasn't much shock factor when it came to some of the characters deaths, and it didn't effect me emotionally. The ending was decent but VERY predictable to say the least, and the pacing after episode 18 was just super rushed. Other than that though it was for me at least decent. |
| Well, well. Seems like i'll have to update my profile with another anime's end. Putting the obvious aside, this episode was epic. I liked the fight, i liked the soundtrack, i liked Akame's demon form, i liked Esdeath encasing herself and Tatsumi in ice, i liked Onest getting his face smashed in, i liked the Emperor getting beheaded, i liked Wave and especially Run living, i liked that the title character actually survived, i liked how Najenda kept Lubbock's headwear next to her heart, i really liked the special ending, and i really, really liked that Bols' wife and daughter are alive and happy, and not raped and killed by a clown. What i didn't like? I didn't like Akame defeating Esdeath alone. I didn't like Onest's semi-automatic medieval pistol (what the hell was with that?). I didn't like Leone somehow bleeding out days later. I especially didn't like Tatsumi dying after all. Overall, this show was indeed one hell of a ride. It really is hard to give this anime any score - i have to actually take into consideration the manga they were adapting, but i also have to judge the anime as a whole, and then there's also the fact that it went anime-original shortly before the end. I commend White Fox for their amazing job for the first 19 episodes, and i actually applaud their bold decision to go with the anime-original route, since i imagine even studios know how much the manga nerds hate their material being abolished. By the way, i think it's amusing how there're immediately reviews with scores 2-3, when the first 19 episodes were getting only 8-9s. You guys are freaking hilarious, but also kinda brain-dead. Let's see...: Last episode: 4.5/5 Manga viewer perspective score: 6.5/10 Anime-only perspective score: 8.5/10 Overall Akame ga Kill score: 7.5/10 Still... an undeniable Revolutionary show, that i will actually miss. |
